BBQ Combo Plate Add +$4 sausage

Pretty dang good barbecue. First thing I have to say is a personal preference;I like my rib to fall off the bone. Second the sausage taste like a hamburger. It's literally ground beef in there. And the pulled pork is a bit dry and salty. otherwise, I like how you can just seat yourself pick whatever table you would like. They greet you right when you walk in. It's cozy small nothing fancy. I would eat there again if I'm craving a barbecue, the prices are not too bad at all.

Went last night and right away you can smell the food. We enjoyed our food and time. Service is top notch. Very informative, friendly and tentative. Here were our thoughts. Hush puppies- so good! Eggs- so good! Ribs- delicious Sausage- good Mac n cheese- so so Cornbread- very good Pulled pork- delicious Slaw- I really liked and others thought so so Tacos- good but taco shells were so so ( I think she said they were dry Would definitely go back.

We've been trying to get here for a while and finally, success! We got there last minute so I didn't get to try the Twinkie's but next time yesssss. Staff was friendly and patient. Food was tasty! Yummy brisket. My cornbread was a tad dry but had potential!! The purple peas were surprisingly delicious too. Nice interior, very clean.

My adult beverage. It was very yummy.

Food was absolutely amazing. Some of the best bbq I have had. The wings and ribs and pulled pork were outstanding. The smoke flavor was fabulous. You didn't have to add any of their homemade BBQ sauce at all the meat was good alone.

The service was so friendly and nice (like everyone was!). The bbq was perfect. The slaw was good, it was vinegar based. All the bbq sauces were vinegar like and not like a sweet thick bbq. The Mac and cheese was lacking, could be creamier and maybe have some salt and pepper on the table for it. Overall best bbq I've had up here and I'm from SC

Newly opened in Rochester, NH. Mississippi Style Barbecue Pulled Pork w/Baked Beans, Smoked Macaroni & Cheese w/ Corn bread. Also Added 1/2 lb. Beef Brisket and Smoked Peach Cobbler. Cobbler made with fresh peaches from Union Lake Peach Orchards. My wife chose Pulled Pork, baked beans, cole slaw and corn bread. All served traditionally with no sauce but their signature sauce is available on the table should you choose. With fresh made Lemonade and Sweet Tea along with a list of ales and drinks available. More than just typical bbq. This is southern fare and all wholemade. Delicious! Different than anything else in the area.

I ordered the 2 item BBQ plate ($19.99) with brisket (+$2) and smoked chicken. For the 2 included sides, I ordered cucumber salad and garlic corn. I also ordered the 12pc smoked chicken ($12.99) to share w/a friend. This all arrived w/in 5 minutes, with the owner bringing out the food. I didn't expect there'd be some table service - a pleasant surprise. He was nice too, pointing out the various sauces available by the utensils. The brisket was a bit uneven. The point was tender, but the flat was a bit tough. The smoked chicken seemed juicy throughout with a taut skin. The 12-pc smoked chicken had that and also a slight heat to its rub. The sides were satisfactory. The cucumber salad was light and not over-acidified, and the garlic corn tasted like corn tossed in oil with seasoning (aka delicious). Portion sizes seemed generous. I took home half of the plate and wings.

Good ambiance but poor bbq…read more Brisket lacked flavor, almost like it was done in the oven and smoked for a short while. Also it was cut with the grain. Turkey and pulled pork were dry. Smoke flavor was there but it tasted like dirty smoke. Overall poor experience. Prices are decent. Parking lot has huge potholes, almost the size of a sinkhole.

Everytime I go to Ore Nell's, I'm happy. I mean, what's not to love when it comes to barbecue?…read moreUnless you're vegetarian... If you're with a bigger group, definitely get the family plate to try a little bit of everything. You get four large sides, half a chicken, jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. We got the Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, collard greens, and fries as a side. The Cole slaw was eh, but everything else was fantastic. And the meats of course are the stars of it all! But the mac and cheese? Oh wow that is so good. And the jalapeño cheddar cornbread is even better. Not dry at all--most yet crispy on the sides from the grill. But finishing it off with the German chocolate flourless cake is the best part at the end. So decadent... The service is always great when you go here. Every time I've been, I'm pleased with how fast everything is brought out. And it is always consistently delicious. It's crazy to think this is in Maine and not from somewhere known for BBQ. But I'm grateful it's close by!

Total: $140.93 with tax Included: Family Cookout $89.99 plus $3 add on, extra 1/4 rack ribs $12, two sweet teas $7.50, banana pudding $8, apple cobbler $9, ice cream $1 Price felt high at first, but we split it between two people and had leftovers for another day or two Food breakdown Sides * Coleslaw was not for me. Vinegar based and pretty underwhelming 2/10 * Collard greens were decent but a bit salty 8/10 * Mac and cheese was fine but I do not get the hype 6/10 * Potato salad was lite and pretty decent, could use more flavor 7/10 * Pickles were surprisingly good even though they were sweet 9/10 Meats * Brisket was not my favorite but I am learning I may just not be a brisket person 3/10 * Pulled pork was dry and nothing special 2/10 * Sausage I did not try but was said to be a little spicy 0/10 * Ribs were mixed 8/10 * Appetizer ribs felt like a lower quality cut and were not great * Ribs with the main meal were actually very good, just slightly salty * Chicken was one of the best items. Great flavor and crispy skin but slightly dry 8/10 Other food notes * Only one barbecue sauce option which was just okay * Banana pudding was decent * Apple cobbler was enjoyed but charging $1 for ice cream feels unnecessary * Sweet tea was good but not standout Service * This was the biggest downside * We ran out of paper towels and were told we had napkins and wipes instead of being given more * Never really checked on or asked if we needed anything * Felt a bit dismissive and put a damper on the experience Overall Good if you are splitting and want leftovers, but some items were hit or miss and service could be better. Must order items for ribs however today's ribs were pretty salty and the chicken adding the barbecue sauce on kinda hid the salt, but I shouldn't have to do that.

AIGHT I'll be there in 10 minutes. I arrived and parked and we started looking at the menu. I ordered the double trouble sandwich....pretzel bun..pulled pork...brisket slices and coleslaw with bbq sauce Tony got the waffle box with brisket (or pulled pork, your choice) Mac n Cheese, corn bread and a water $29 for everything which is cheap for everything we got Tony was extremely pleased with his order, said it was very moist and juicy and he is EXTREMELY PICKY about sauces and he even complemented the bbq sauce. Typically he would ask for no sauce but he liked this which said alot My sandwich was layered. Bun .. bbq sauce.. coleslaw... huge handful of pulled pork and 4 big slices of brisket... more bbq sauce and the top bun While we were waiting for our order a great big rotti came over and let me give him a good rub and proceeded to hang out with us for the rest of our time there. He's very friendly and well trained but very fast to catch a treat... can catch mid air Our food arrived and we jumped in Tony's truck to eat...even though the dog followed us he laid right beside the truck and never once begged.... Definitely better than me because this food smelled unbelievable and I probably would have begged if I was a dog My brisket was REALLY REALLY GOOD and the pulled pork was no joke, the coleslaw was fresh and delicious. If I HAD to make a complaint it would be not enough bbq sauce . They add it in the truck and there's not any outside for customers to use but the sandwich was definitely worth the price (and more) I ate everything except the bun (diabetic so bread jumps my sugar) but I'm not sure if I could have eaten it all if I had. The meats n coleslaw alone filled me up.... I'm talking need a nap kinda full But hey if you're ever driving through Biddeford on rte 1 and you want a quick meal there parked across from the shell station on the right hand side right before the bridge into Arundel.
