Today I was out and about doing errands when my phone rang, my friend Tony says have you seen the new food truck across from the shell station on rte 1? No what's it got? Texas BBQ. AIGHT I'll be there in 10 minutes. I arrived and parked and we started looking at the menu. I ordered the double trouble sandwich....pretzel bun..pulled pork...brisket slices and coleslaw with bbq sauce Tony got the waffle box with brisket (or pulled pork, your choice) Mac n Cheese, corn bread and a water $29 for everything which is cheap for everything we got Tony was extremely pleased with his order, said it was very moist and juicy and he is EXTREMELY PICKY about sauces and he even complemented the bbq sauce. Typically he would ask for no sauce but he liked this which said alot My sandwich was layered. Bun .. bbq sauce.. coleslaw... huge handful of pulled pork and 4 big slices of brisket... more bbq sauce and the top bun While we were waiting for our order a great big rotti came over and let me give him a good rub and proceeded to hang out with us for the rest of our time there. He's very friendly and well trained but very fast to catch a treat... can catch mid air Our food arrived and we jumped in Tony's truck to eat...even though the dog followed us he laid right beside the truck and never once begged.... Definitely better than me because this food smelled unbelievable and I probably would have begged if I was a dog My brisket was REALLY REALLY GOOD and the pulled pork was no joke, the coleslaw was fresh and delicious. If I HAD to make a complaint it would be not enough bbq sauce . They add it in the truck and there's not any outside for customers to use but the sandwich was definitely worth the price (and more) I ate everything except the bun (diabetic so bread jumps my sugar) but I'm not sure if I could have eaten it all if I had. The meats n coleslaw alone filled me up.... I'm talking need a nap kinda full But hey if you're ever driving through Biddeford on rte 1 and you want a quick meal there parked across from the shell station on the right hand side right before the bridge into Arundel. I have to agree with the previous reviews referencing the attitude of the owner/cook. He always has a terrible, condescending demeanor. I would recommend getting someone to act as cashier and deal with customers. The meat is usually good, he should stick to that aspect of the business. read more

My coworker had told me about this place it is a food truck that is usually in Kennebunk. We've only been here for two years and we've been trying some barbecue spots out. So for lunch my coworker and I went down some food. It is some really good barbecue and the sides we're just as good would definitely have this again. read more

I like the food and would recommend. My favorite is the brisket taco. The mac and cheese is a bit of a disappointment as it looks and tastes a lot like kraft mac and cheese...dry and flavorless. The person taking orders seems a bit ill tempered. I would give 5 stars otherwise. read more

Absurdly disappointing, unprepared, and extremely rude. This truck came to our campground, and I was extremely excited to try it out. There menus contained mostly meat, but also had Mac n' Cheese, tater tots, and sandwiches. The line was about 20 people long and after 30 minutes, it had not moved. For a food truck, the meals came out EXTREMELY slow. I luckily got in line at a time when there was only about 5 people in front of us. When we FINALLY reached the truck, I was upset to hear the man to say, "only meat left." He then went on to say that included sausage, brisket, and some other meats, but he did not say pulled pork as an option. Weirdly enough, me and my brother overheard him telling the man in front of us that there was pulled pork left in stock. We were confused so we asked, "Can we get pulled pork?" He then condescendingly and aggressively responded, "Was that one of the ones I said? You need to read between the lines?" We were offended by his tone and better-than-everyone attitude. We were also disappointed to find out that they were out of pretty much everything, included ribs, which is one of their main meals. We later heard that this same situation happened last time they were at our campground. Overall, the rude attitudes and unprofessional responses will lead me to never spend a dollar here. read more

I went last week to pick up lunch. I was the first one in line so I placed my order. It took quite awhile for it to be ready and when it was I looked in the bag to make sure it had everything I ordered. I even asked the man if the double order of tots were in there and he said yes, in with the tacos. When I got home, the tots were not there! I paid $48 plus an$3 tip and no tots even after he was adamant they were there. By the time we finished our meal, he was closed for the day and hasn't seem to be open since. $8 for the tots and not there.....tacos were delicious! Beef brisket sandwich was very greasy and meat was almost burnt in parts. Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft Mac and cheese with a couple things added. Disappointing to say the least. My other huge turn off was, he was wearing no mask and he dropped the F bomb quite a few times. Not professional at all. I doubt if I'll ever go back. After a very long drive this is exactly what we needed! Food was spectacular! We stumbled upon this and I'm so glad we did. You know it's a good sign when you walk up to the truck and there is a line. We chatted with some of the regulars in line and were convinced after talking to them we were in for something special! We tried the smoked brisket sandwich, smoked pulled chicken sandwich, fried pickles, and the tater tot mess. The meat was so juicy and flavorful the pickles were the best we've ever had! I have the opportunity of enjoying Texas Grace at a Golf tournament at Cape Arundel in June. It was great. However, when I was planning a party at my house with 60+ people, I decided to do something different for food and reached out to David & Texas Grace. I will tell you, from the start with email correspondence it was great. The day of the event came and David arrived prepared and ready to go. The food was everything we expected and more.
