Today I was out and about doing errands when my phone rang, my friend Tony says have you seen the…read morenew food truck across from the shell station on rte 1? No what's it got? Texas BBQ. AIGHT I'll be there in 10 minutes. I arrived and parked and we started looking at the menu. I ordered the double trouble sandwich....pretzel bun..pulled pork...brisket slices and coleslaw with bbq sauce Tony got the waffle box with brisket (or pulled pork, your choice) Mac n Cheese, corn bread and a water $29 for everything which is cheap for everything we got Tony was extremely pleased with his order, said it was very moist and juicy and he is EXTREMELY PICKY about sauces and he even complemented the bbq sauce. Typically he would ask for no sauce but he liked this which said alot My sandwich was layered. Bun .. bbq sauce.. coleslaw... huge handful of pulled pork and 4 big slices of brisket... more bbq sauce and the top bun While we were waiting for our order a great big rotti came over and let me give him a good rub and proceeded to hang out with us for the rest of our time there. He's very friendly and well trained but very fast to catch a treat... can catch mid air Our food arrived and we jumped in Tony's truck to eat...even though the dog followed us he laid right beside the truck and never once begged.... Definitely better than me because this food smelled unbelievable and I probably would have begged if I was a dog My brisket was REALLY REALLY GOOD and the pulled pork was no joke, the coleslaw was fresh and delicious. If I HAD to make a complaint it would be not enough bbq sauce . They add it in the truck and there's not any outside for customers to use but the sandwich was definitely worth the price (and more) I ate everything except the bun (diabetic so bread jumps my sugar) but I'm not sure if I could have eaten it all if I had. The meats n coleslaw alone filled me up.... I'm talking need a nap kinda full But hey if you're ever driving through Biddeford on rte 1 and you want a quick meal there parked across from the shell station on the right hand side right before the bridge into Arundel. Where the spectrum sign shop is. You'll leave hella full with plenty of money left Happy Eating

I would recommend getting someone to act as cashier and deal with customers. The meat is usually good, he should stick to that aspect of the business.

Trapped opened its yellow food trailer today, (June 27, 2024) next to the Southern Maine Lobster Co…read moreon US Route 1 in York. They serve up lobster rolls (mayo or buttered), fried belly clams (& rolls), crab rolls, smoked brisket brats, chicken fingers, lobster stew, lobster dip, lobster ABLT, chips, cookies, H-Jays frozen custard, soft drinks, lemonade and iced tea. At the time of this posting, their website was still under construction and they will be offering DoorDash delivery. There are picnic tables in front of the trailer. After an appointment nearby, I stopped by the Trapped in York Maine food trailer. I decided to order a Small Trapped Meal ($24 plus tax) with a Small Lobster Roll, bag of Cape Cod Sea Salt Chips, watermelon cubes, 2 homemade Maine spice cookies, and a fresh lemonade. My order was prepared to order in about 8 minutes. I enjoyed my food outside. The Lobster Roll (3 oz of knuckle & claw meat in mayo) on a toasted New England hot dog roll. The watermelon and chips were good sides for the Maine style lobster roll. The 2 homemade sweet Maine spice cookies were soft and chewy. The iced lemonade was refreshing, as I enjoyed the rest in the ride after finishing my meal.

I have been craving a good lobster roll all summer, but haven't been able to find one. I searched…read morehigh and low for one that had both claw and tail in it- that is what makes it excellent in my opinion, and finally found one here. I was excited to find out that they are in fact open on Sundays- so Yelp is wrong about that. I got the large which is 6 oz on a hot buttered brioche roll, which can be served cold with just mayo, or warm with butter. I opted for the latter. It was DELICIOUS - more tail than claw- which made me extra happy!! The service was outstanding, I believe the owner was there- but the young lady was also quite sweet. They answered all my questions, both on the phone, and in person. I also ordered the haddock and fries for tomorrow- but of course I tried it. So tender and flaky!! Their fries are hand cut, and have both sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. So good! Lunch is going to be great tomorrow! The place is a yellow food truck, so seating is casual at picnic tables. It is quite lovely! I was hungry- so I had already taken a few bits of my lobster roll- sorry about that haha
