This is a restaurant I will never try again. The food was absolutely inedible. We should have stopped and canceled our order after the apps. We got the elotes off the Cobb. It was so overcooked the kernels of corn were the consistency of rubber. Whatever the sauce was sour and tasted foul. We each ate two bites and decided to just let it go. We also ordered the taquitos and the were just bland and greasy. Also stopped with two. Just a complete disappointment. My husband ordered the only burrito on the menu that was offered as a hand held. As you can see by the picture it was open and a sloppy mess. He took one bite and said he was good and didn't want to risk eating anything else. I got three different tacos chicken, beef and carnitas. I took a one bite of each and on my life, I've never tasted worse food. Everything tasted like it was days old. The ambiance is cute but I cannot understand the 4 star rating this place has. There was not one single item worth eating. I am convinced people giving this place five stars are friends or paid by the establishment to give out these stars. I have had crappy but edible Mexican food before but this had no redeeming quality. Go to Taco Bell if you need a taco. This was $85 before the tip and we left and ate somewhere else. read more

Date night. Always great experience. Just need to watch the chips. Don't fill up. They added queso as a side with the salsa. I prefer the street tacos with chicken. So yummy It's always hopping and with a full bar you are bound to find the drink of choice. Great menu options and the fajita are sizzling when they arrive. Some places don't do that. read more

For a quick weekend lunch, I stopped by Cinco's. The spacious restaurant had plenty of room, so my party of two was seated immediately. Chips and salsa arrived within a minute. The chips were light and airy without being oily - only a couple broke in the salsa. The salsa tasted fresh and had a solid, balanced flavor. I ordered the El Diablo ($19.99), which included shrimp and onions sautéed in a spicy sauce, served with rice, beans, guacamole salad, and tortillas. The shrimp and onions were savory and comforting, with the spicy sauce adding just the right amount of heat. It's not too spicy if you're accustomed to spice. The portion was generous - I left stuffed. Just wow. We recently got back from Cozumel and this food is as authentic of Mexican as I've had anywhere. The El Tapatio was amazing- the chorizo and chicken were cooked to perfection. Service was so quick and the portions were huge. We'll be eating leftovers for the next couple of days. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We were in Dover to drop my granddaughter off at the Amtrak into Boston and decided to stop at any restaurant to grab a quick dinner. What an amazing dinner. Everything was terrific. Far beyond what I would have expected. I had the sizzling burrito with chicken. It was huge and I took some home. My husband said his enchiladas were the best he's ever had. Waiter was terrific. My friend suggested this place so we decided to give it a try and I was extremely surprised. The staff was super friendly and started off with some chips and salsa while we looked at the menu and drinks. I did get the blueberry margarita which was good, I thought it would have more of a bluish color to it but that's just a personal preference. As for food I went with the Brickyard burrito and it was simply amazing. The chicken seemed like it was cooked with the bell peppers and onions and had this delicious taste to it. The perfect bite would definitely consist of a little bit of everything on the plate on your fork. It is a little bit of a pricier option compared to the other Burritos but for the taste it makes sense. I can't wait to go back and try their other food! Highly recommend! read more

The food was very good. The Seafood chimichangas and they were crispy and nice on the outside and very good taste over all. I loved them. Also the steak street tacos were spot on. Our Waiter was so nice and friendly and was very patient with all our questions on the menu. We will definitely be coming back here as we live close by. Meter parking is a drag but we were able to part very close and it is only $1/hr and we were only an hour. Pina Colada and Margarita were great as well. It was not real busy so the music and the atmosphere were very comfortable and not to loud. read more

The food was delicious and it wasn't a bad price for the amount we received. It's a cute place. Not a lot of room for many, but it does seat nicely. Our waiter was patient, even after my daughter couldn't decide what she wanted. He was awesome. Everything was cooked well. There was just the right type of lighting. Popped in for lunch with a friend i haven't seen in years. I was recommended this joint by a local and I'm glad i went! The waiter we had always had a smile on his face and was pleasant. He checked in with our table enough to show he was on top of drinks but wasn't pestering us. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The chips and salsa given tasted fresh. The San Jose Burrito i ordered was very good. I asked to add jalapenos, sour cream, and Guac. The jalapenos were surprisingly spicier than i expected i love spice so i enjoyed it. The sour cream and guac was a great add. My buddy enjoyed the 3 enchiladas Lagunas with no beans. They came out oozing with cheese and and carne asada on top. He loved it. The prices were slightly higher than normal for most items. $3.75 for a Jarritos soda is steep. You need to pay for parking out front with meter parking which is another con in my opinion. Although the food and service was great i don't frequent this area often enough to return. There are so many equally great spanish restaurants around the state that I'd still choose others in the future unless in a pinch in Dover. read more

I went with a group of about 21 and they were able to accommodate us and seat us together, the organizer called ahead. The food was very good. I ordered the fish tacos and it came with spanish rice and refried beans. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. Even with a large group, the staff did a great job and are very friendly. I'm tough on Mexican restaurants because I lived in AZ for a couple of years and the Mexican restaurants there are fantastic. For the northeast, this is a good restaurant. Will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. The owner and all of the staff working here are awesome and the atmosphere is laid back and you feel welcome here. The food is really good. Salsa is yummy (and chips), I tried the street tacos, had the chicken and the carne asada. Both had a really good seasoning on them, tortillas were soft and it came with some green and red sauce to put on if you wish. They let me try their own homemade hot sauce which I will be putting on my tacos the next time I'm here. It had really good flavor and a little kick to it as well! I had the fresh squeezed margarita, regular, mango and mango strawberry (don't judge I love my tequila). Really, really good. If you want fresh real Mexican food I suggest you come here. read more
