CT roll

WOW i'm so impressed by these lobster rolls. We stopped by this food truck on the way to cape elizabeth and it's a must try!! I'm usually a warm roll fan, but the cold ones were perfect for the hot day. It took ~10 minutes for my roll of come out. Their sodas are also so refreshing to drink with your roll. There's benches to sit outside the truck or you can also sit on the grass nearby!:)

The best lobster roll! Came while visiting Portland Lighthouse. Saw on Feed me Phil. They definitely load the lobster but are pricey.

I don't know how we're going to get a better lobster roll than this! We enjoyed the Connecticut style lobster roll with potato salad and Maine root sodas. The lobster was delicious and the large was perfect to split between two people. The blueberry Maine root soda was yummy and I would definitely get it again! The service was quick and accommodating, especially for a food truck. We enjoyed our lobster roll at a picnic table under a tree and it was amazing! A great introduction to Maine!

Honestly, there's not a better place than this specific Bite into Maine to get a lobster roll when you're visiting Portland. Especially on a nice day. Grab a hefty buttery roll and a seat in the grass. Dig in and enjoy the views!!

Right in Fort Williams Park near the Portland Head Light. Full lobster rolls made 6 ways. We got the hot butter, which really allowed us to taste the lobster. Just a few picnic tables and it was cold so we ate in the car.

YUMMMMAY! Ample parking with multiple lots. Do not forget to get a parking slip at the automated machine in the lot! The car next to us got a ticket for not having one displayed on their dashboard! We made an impromptu stop to Cape Elizabeth and am sooo glad we did! So impressed by the warm brioche bun and the heavy load of lobster. Priced at $31 each, I would say this is worth trying at least once!

Sunshine, green open spaces and lobster rolls - what could be better! My son and husband had their regular lobster rolls with warm butter poured over top. I had their lobster rolls with coleslaw and warm butter. Best lobster roll I have ever had. Fresh, clean and down right delish!

When visiting Maine I had to do my research and this spot consistently comes up as one of the best lobster rolls in Maine so we had to try it. I had been here once before and remember it being good but not a stand out but had to give it another go. It's a small food truck in the same park as Portland Head lighthouse so the location cannot be beat, on a clear day it's the perfect place to enjoy a lobster rolls. They have picnic tables and the park has plenty of tables and benches where you can eat as well. We got the picnic and Maine style 6 oz lobster rolls, with some potato salad and a grilled cheese for my toddler. I love that they tell you the amount of lobster you are paying for and the roll truly comes piled with lobster on their buttery toasted buns. However, the lobster itself was not as sweet as other places I've been, not sure how that happened and not sure I can blame the location for this but the lobster tasted bland? Which was a bit of a bummer. Additionally my husband's first bite (and second) had significant pieces of shell in them, which is not great. The potato salad was ok, a bit sweet for my taste but nice big pieces of potato. I dunno if it generally lived up to the hype for me, but still solid and large lobster rolls.

Absolutely excellent. We got the Connecticut style and it was perfect. The warm butter pour so nicely complimented the cold lobster. The bun was the perfect size and perfectly toasted. So much lobster on top. The staff working in the truck were also so lovely. Worth the stop!

Bite Into Maine at Cape Elizabeth was one of the highlights of my lobster roll adventure through Maine. The lobster comes chilled, and then--right at the pickup window--they pour hot butter over the top. Watching that pour and taking the first bite was pure magic. If I had one tiny wish, it would be for the lobster meat to already be warm before the butter pour, especially on a foggy September morning. But that's just a slight ding on an otherwise outstanding roll. No lines this time of year, friendly staff, and the iconic backdrop of the lighthouse made this stop unforgettable. Definitely a must-do if you're chasing the best lobster rolls in Maine.

Definitely one of the best lobster rolls I have ever had. Their gluten free bread is also quite tasty. There are plenty of picnic tables at Cape Elizabeth to eat at (be mindful of the seagulls as they can be quite aggressive).

I really liked this location. To put it simply I would come back. You drive into basically a park and you pay for parking in the lot. Was there a line? Yes. Did it move pretty fast? Faster than Reds. I think we waited like an hour. Getting down to the nitty gritty. Clam chowder - probably the creamiest of the chowders we had in Maine. It wasn't my favorite but others liked it. I thought personally it lacked the flavor of the others I had. Grilled cheese - this was probably the prettiest most classically perfect grilled cheese I've ever bought. It was great and dipping it into the clam chowder made it a 10/10. Lobster roll - we got the Connecticut which is just warm butter. Flavor wise I was told it's on par with reds. They preferred this bun over reds but reds has more meat. Overall a 10/10. Potato salad - 4/5. It's slightly sweet. I just didn't like the onions in it but that is personal preference View - 10/10. When I think about having a lobster roll on the coast of Maine this is exactly what I think about. Overall I think everyone should go here at least once.

NICEST HUMANS ON THE WHOLE WORLD RUNNING THOSE BUSINESS!!!! Got a lobster roll from Maine and took it down to look at the beautiful light house. Food tasted great. Fair price. There was also $6 chowder and several other menu options. Seating in front as well. Great spot!!!

What do people mean when they compare this to the storefront? What's the storefront restaurant of this?

This location is our original food truck. We have a small takeout - which we call the Commissary- which is at 185 US Route One in Scarborough. It started as our commercial kitchen for our food trucks...and developed into retail and takeout in 2017.

The stairs are a pretty big flight to get up for an elderly person, but the railings are sturdy and available on both sides of the wide staircase, so a person can only use one railing at a time. Today was also different because for the first time ever, a seagull stole a fried clam from my tray while I was walking from picking up my food to a table to sit down. I was about ten steps away from the building and it swooped in and grabbed a fried clam! I can't believe I didn't drop the tray. It happened very fast. We ate the fried clams anyway. Some seagulls claw germs never hurt anyone? Half the red picnic tables were freshly painted. The other half were blocked off with a wet paint sign. The food (lobster rolls and fried clams) and the view (rocks, ocean and rolling waves) were spectacular as ever.

It is right on the cliff and offers expansive views of the ocean! Dining room is very small; outdoor is very nice if and when weather permits. It was very windy the day I went. Overall I think this is a tourist spot. Worth a visit.

We were seated inside immediately as it was between lunch and dinner hours. Service throughout was terrific My wife ordered their fish and chips while I opted for the fried fisherman's platter. My wife enjoyed her dinner as the fried haddock was fresh with a nice light batter. The fries were okay, albeit a bit generic. My platter also came with the same nicely fried haddock. It also came with a small handful of fried whole bellied claws and a large amount of popcorn shrimp. The clams were disappointing, a bit on the rubbery and soggy side, sitting under the haddock getting steamed in the process. The breading had disappeared. The tiny shrimp added nothing to the dish. The cole slaw that came with both plates was weak, with little if any dressing and overly shredded veggies. All in all it was just okay, but admittedly a disappointment. I should have went with the lobster roll.

We tried the mayo-lime sauce, as hubby did not want a "naked" lobsta roll. If you like your lobster rolls classic (light mayo, maybe a squeeze of lemon), this sauce works perfectly! Potato salad was also very much on point. If the wait to sit down and dine in is too long for your liking, they do have a to-go menu (which is what we did today) .
