Maine Lobster Roll
Aleeza A.

Lobster roll was insane. The amount of lobster they put into the roll is worth every penny and just so fresh and great quality. Also had breakfast one morning which was also very fresh and just quality ingredients. Staff was very friendly and overall had a very enjoyable experience!

Gulf of Maine Lobster dish.
Marc K.

The place is very pretty. My wife and I both went there for dinner and had the Gulf of Maine Lobster for our main dish. It was very good, but not great. The New England Clam and the Watermelon Gazpacho were just OK. We split an order of Deviled Eggs, and that was both interesting and good. Sea Glass is not cheap, which we knew going in, and while we enjoyed our dinner there, we found there to be better alternatives in the Portland area at this price point. Also, the waitress we had was VERY chatty with other customers during our time there. These long conversations were taking place while we were waiting for our dishes to come to our table. Others ended up bringing out our food, but I'm not sure if that's how they normally do it, or they were helping her out because she was busy talking to others.

the food was great! i loved eating with a view. would definitely go again. the service was very good, even if they were over whelmed at times they continued to make time for our table to make sure our meal was perfect. the hostess was very kind and so were the servers. would recommend

S'mores Martini (they forgot the chocolate syrup)
Paulina S.

The first time I came here, I ordered the s'mores martini... yum. I ordered it again the next time, and when it came, they hadn't drizzled chocolate syrup inside the glass, which is like the only reason I wanted it. My rating is because on their website, under a large headline claiming "VEGAN FRIENDLY," they state the following: "In Sea Glass, Chef Chadwick celebrates healthy and ethical eating with vegan menus even loyal carnivores love." THUS, both times I've gone here, I asked what their vegan options were, because I didn't see many on the menu.... They only have ONE vegan entree. I just want to know; why the false advertising? Don't get me wrong, it's great here. It's beautiful and classy. I would have easily rated 5 stars today if Sea Glass, who has a 2-paragraph blurb about veganism on the front page of their website, had more than one vegan dish to choose from. In fact, I would probably dine there often. I shall give it another go this summer.....

We stopped by the place hoping to have a nice quick lunch. We had clam chowder, which was ok, but nothing special for 15 bucks a pop. For my main I had a crispy chicken sandwich as I loaded up on seafood the previous days and the sandwich really sounded good. It was horrible, barely eatable, old bun, old chicken (must have been previously frozen) and fried beyond crispy, rather, so you dare to bite it. My bf's salad with salmon was just ok, salty, baked, not grilled as promised. Overall I wish we skipped that outing, will definitely not be returning. View and outside sitting was nice.

Travelled to Maine from Buffalo, NY with my friend from Nebraska. Yelp searched for brunch places and this restaurant came up. We were staying in Downtown Portland, so this was a 20-30min ride. As my friend and I pulled in the parking lot not knowing where the restaurant was, we spotted a valet attendant and asked him to direct us to the location. We parked the car and headed to the restaurant. "MASKS WERE REQUIRED TO ENTER".. As we entered, there was a waiter standing by the door. He greeted us and asked if we wanted to dine in or out. We said we wanted to dine out, he stated that our wait time would be about 20mins. While we were waiting, he asked us if we would like to order drinks while we waited. We said sure and proceeded to the bar area. The bartender handed us the drink menu, pointed out their specials and then also asked if there was any drinks we wanted him to make that's not on the menu. I got the Sea Glass Mojito and my friend got the Margarita. After about 15mins the waiter came back and said the table is being cleaned and we will be seated in about 5mins. And just like that 5mins passed, he came and took us to go seat outside. Outside seating was amazing, it was nice, quiet and the view was just amazing with the flowers in the background and fresh cut grass. My friend and I just sat there in peace not even talking to each other nor looking at our phones for about 10mins. "MEDITATION AT ITS FINEST" A few minutes later, a waitress came and introduced herself. We were ready to order, so she took our order and told us how long our order would take. Also asked if we needed anything, we were waiting we just needed water. She brought the water in the glass bottle with lemons that we requested. I got the Chicken Caprese Panini(the waitress it's one of her favorite order) and my friend got the Grilled Salmon. The waitress brought our food out in about 30mins and boyyyy was it delicious. We enjoyed our meal and our drinks. The service was phenomenal, the place was super clean, safety was put first and the view was great. After we ate and payed our bill, we took some pictures by the flowers, then walked down the boardwalk to the beach area. Spent a little time there took some pictures, then walked back to the car and headed back to our hotel. P.S. they grow their own tomatoes and before we left one of the waiters gave us one a piece to go. I feel bad that I don't remember our waitress name or the waiter that greeted us but they both were awesome communicators. This place is a gem worth going back...

We had a lovely brunch sitting on the terrace. Must get their blueberry muffins, they are the best! We ordered the eggs benefit with side of lobster, however was disappointed with the portion of lobster as it was very small, considering all the lobsters shacks around that fill you with endless pieces).

House made corned beef hash....sooo good

Cute patio seating outside which makes it a favorite spot of mine, especially when the hydrangeas are in bloom! Lots of seating inside. The marketplace is dangerous. The LOBSTER ROLL was so tasty and absolutely bursting with lobster. It feels simple but flavor wise it is perfect. The HADDOCK CHOWDER on the other hand was the complete opposite of perfect. The haddock itself tasted very fresh but the base had absolutely no seasoning or flavor and so it tasted like cooked fish in hot milk. All in all, a good option for lobster rolls but stay away from the chowder.

The location is great, tucked away and surrounded by nature. But it's not just a breakfast and lunch spot; inside, they sell Maine-made goods, including spices, kitchen towels, and other little things made locally. They also have a fridge with grab-and-go options. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring the food to your table. Breakfast ends at 11am, then it switches to lunch with sandwiches, wraps, and baked goods. The sandwiches are delicious, but they're on the pricier side at $14-$17, and the portions aren't huge. That said, I feel like you're paying for the vibe and location too, and at least the sandwiches come with tater tots (or a salad)! Coffee was really good, and they offer discounted refills. I also loved that they use local ingredients when possible, like in their the sourdough, which comes from Bread & Friends bakery in Portland. I had the turkey + arugula + fig jam sandwich and it was good, but they could really tone down the amount of arugula. Two other things I appreciated: the indoor dining area is super spacious, and there's plenty of parking. Will I be back? Definitely, but I don't think I'll be a regular given the prices.

It was very sweet to pull up on an October morning with all the beautiful trees. The food was just OK. I was very excited for the cinnamon rolls, however, we had a guest that has a severe allergy to nuts. When we inquired about the contents of the cinnamon rolls, the server came back and said "Chef said they're made in a factory" which 1) Did not answer our question about the nut allergy and 2) Thank you for telling us these are not actually made in house lol. I'll give it to them, the factory cinnamon rolls are good. We can confirm there are no nuts in the cinnamon rolls. I got the "braised beef hash" which I was excited about and was surprised when actually chunks of braised beef came out in no hash form whatsoever. The beef was perfectly fine. The crispy potatoes appeared to be controversial. I liked the crispiness and thought they tasted fine! Another friend of mine really enjoyed the omelet with ham and gruyere. Two friends who got the biscuits & gravy said the ratio was a little off. There was one gentleman working around the room who has clearly been in the game. The other server we had could benefit from a little more training/support perhaps. I asked for coffee three separate times, which he acknowledged three times, and never got it. The Good Table has a lot of potential, hope they can turn it around!

It did not disappoint at all and deserves all the hype/love it gets from the reviews. Tucked away in an area that is mostly industrial/business headquarters area. You will easily spot it though from the beautifully done artwork on the wall. It is a small building so hopefully you can time it well to avoid huge rush/crowds. They had roughly 7-8 tables with some 2-person and some 4-person tables if you are looking to enjoy your food here. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. They had so many tempting sounding breakfast sandwiches it was difficult to pick. I ended up going with their breakfast burrito and my wife got the Pine Point. Both were phenomenal and would be no brainers to order again, but with so many choices we would likely choose other new ones. My wife loved the bread used and the corned beef were perfectly made! The breakfast burrito was packed full with zero complaints. Drink wise we each got an iced latte, my wife got the mocha and I got the honeycomb latte. Both were very solid with a good amount of flavor to them. Lastly before leaving we each picked out a donut to have when we got home, a blueberry and a Maine maple. Definitely a spot we look forward to returning to in the future. Add this to your places to check out as a local or tourist!
