I recently went here like a week ago. Everything went great. I got a 3 PC wing combo with potato wedges and a coke and a cinnamon swirl. Food tasted delicious. I don't know whether I will return after looking at some of the other reviews from 2023 though. I hope that their practices have improved for Food Service. read more

I really do like this place, but my concerns seem to increase with every visit. I consider myself a regular customer so despite their error I still come back but lately and by lately I mean 3 days in a row my order has either been wrong, missing something or just plain nasty. I order one of the cinnamon rolls with icing and I requested a soft one because the day prior I could hardly cut into it. This morning they have me one with lots of cream and I was like OK -- but then when k get to work to actually sit down and eat the cinnamon roll was HARD and I could cut through it or all the cream. Again, every now again they are the best place ever and then they have their moments when I wonder why I even still come. read more

Biscuits were fresh and chicken patty was amazing. Steak biscuit was surprisingly really good and the employees were very nice and gave us free potato wedges which were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend even though its out of the way they do biscuits all day long and a great fix. read more

Horrible, from the extra long wait at the drive thru to the nasty food. The coleslaw was spoiled and chicken half done. This location has been remodeled and look beautiful. The food was always delicious but this time maybe my last. read more

I saw several roaches crawling around in the restaurant near the soda fountain machine, things look very uncivilized behind the counter, and the employees could careless. When Mrs. Winners reopened on Glenwood Avenue a few years ago, the food and service seemed pleasant. Now I would urge everyone to AVOID at all cost! read more

Sat at the counter and was ignored for 10 minutes. Very unprofessional and apathetic staff at this Location.

Where can I start. The lady who took my order was rude and condescending. I got what I asked for...... 3pc wing w/ a leg substitute. The wings were Perfect that one leg..... it must've been left over. It was stale and had a real horrible after taste.....I woulda took the leg back but I WONT EVER VISIT this establishment again. Overall I was lest disappointed because I want US blacks to provide better service to our people. This is what's giving black business's a bad name and if this isn't black ran the staff was all black and it was disappointing read more

I've been going to mrs.winners since i was a child and i never tried the breakfast until today.Them damn chicken biscuits are bomb!!!

This location is TRASH! I went in to order two chicken biscuits and first off the cashier was acted like she had an attitude that I was patronizing the place. She leaves from the cash register after taking my money and proceeds to go to the kitchen to prepare my food WITHOUT washing her nasty hands and putting on sanitation gloves. I immediately call her back over to the cash register for a refund of my money. She asks why and I tell her and she alerts the "manager" who was standing directly behind her. Thee manager food an attitude as he reaches in the cash drawer to refund me my money with no gloves on... only to close the drawer and continue processing orders. They're disgusting, dirty, and disrespectful! Won't be back! read more

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT EAT FROM HERE, I visited here today for a steak n gravy biscuit. I was appalled when I saw the girl drop an order of cooked chicken tenders (she knocked the take out box off the counter), they came out onto the floor, she picked them up and threw them back in the oil and said the heat will kill the bacteria, they laughed. Then other girl (mgr) said when she works days, she don't heat the white gravy all the way, she just throw it own as is bc the Customer is gonna chop it up, now back to the parasite tenders, I asked she's going to send those out, the girl yelled out we're pushed for time back here and the mgr it ain't me or my kids food. Then the girl went on to prepare other orders with the same gloves, I asked she's not even going to change gloves, she said these people want their food out, the guy breading chicken, said he don't have to wash his hands bc once he touches raw chicken they get dirty anyway. This is disgusting, I'm calling the dekalb county health dept tomorrow. When over there, I will just keep going, just bc it's a compromised area is no excuse for nastiness!!! read more

I wish I could give this place more than 3 stars... The bathroom was unbelievably dirty and there was a female employee in the men's bathroom just hanging out...Very awkward! The tables in the dining area were also pretty dirty and looked like our hadn't been cleaned all day. I understand this is a fast food restaurant but cleanliness is a MUST! This was my first experience with this chain, and long overdue. The food and service were both solid! The chicken was great...flavorful and juicy. I had Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy as sides. Not much to say, other than the food meet my expectations but did not exceed them... read more

Been here twice so far since I moved. drive threw menu is decimated, nothing to read. You have to go online to see anything they serve, pretty obnoxious honestly. First time I got the steak dinner and 3 pc dark meat. Steak was mediocre but the fried chicken was pretty good. Second time was for breakfast. Got a couple chicken biscuits with sausage gravy, and a side of hash browns. Honestly really good. I give it a 3 because of the breakfast, I changed my order at the window and the nice cashier gave me the other food as it had already been prepared. Very good service, not their fault the drive through is messed up, that's corporates fault. read more

I haven't had Mrs. Winner's since I was a kid, so I thought I'd treat myself to nostalgia by getting some breakfast. The nostalgia ended as I walked in the door. The grits and eggs had nobody's flavor, gave you two pieces of bacon (I was expecting a little more because it was a bacon platter), and the biscuits were not all that big. What really did for me was when I asked for a top for my cup (when I really should have told the guy he needed to restock) and he nonchalantly told me "they dey go" and went back to doing what he was doing. It took his boss and maybe my facial expression to restock the tops. All of this cost me $6.40 with drink added. The inside was unkempt and it looked like the condiment "isle" hasn't been restocked also. You're better off making breakfast at home, even if you can't cook. You won't be disappointed that you spent almost $7. read more

On Friday, November 13, 2020. I went into this location just to buy 1 dozen of buttered biscuits. What I got was some of the smallest over baked, burnt on the bottom biscuits you could imagine. The wait time, 45 minutes. This place has really gone down into the dump as far as biscuits. They had some of the best biscuits when I was a teen. I didn't buy any chicken so I can't speak on that. The wait time is just too long. read more

I ordered the 8 piece meal with two sides, 4 biscuits and a half gallon iced tea. The chicken was fried in old grease. It tasted slightly burnt. My wedges were ok. I didn't get my second side which were the mashed potatoes. Overall I didn't expect much from them and I would probably never go back. read more

If it wasn't for the fact that I was asked to pick up breakfast for someone I would have turned and walked right back out of here. An employee named James is the rudest nastiest person you would ever want to come across. Doesn't speak when you say Good Morning which is fine. But the pushing passed me and other guest to sweep the floor and across our feet without saying excuse me. Then when he was notified ice was needed in the lobby again he pushed passed guest saying nothing and then taking the top to the container of the ice compartment of the drink machine, and then throwing it on the floor on purpose. When the older lady that was taking orders at the front counter told him to say excuse me and be more respectful of guest he went off on her. It's bad enough that as a guest with a Handicapped Hang Tag can't park in the ONE SPACE ALLOTTED, because an employee with no Handicapped tag not hang tag is parked in the space daily. Horrible way to treat guest. read more

This restaurant NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I think it's because they know customers are calling to complain about an order that they've screwed up. Because I was running behind due to traffic, I didn't check my order before leaving the parking lot trying to get to the train station to get to work on time. When I arrived at work, ready to eat my food that I just purchased, it wasn't what I ordered. I ordered a cinnamon swirl and they gave me a damn biscuit with gravy (eeewwwwww). When I sat my bag on the desk, I was wondering why it was wet/soaked and I opened the bag and the gravy from inside the box had leaked on the box and into the bag. I have attempted to call them 9 times since arriving at work @8:20am this morning. It is now 12 noon. Still NO ANSWER! I'm calling the number that is printed on my receipt of 404-835-27214. So now I'm pissed because I don't have any food to eat for breakfast and I have to go and spend even more money on breakfast because they screwed up my order. When this restaurant closed a while back, it should've stayed CLOSED!!! read more

I came here because I haven't had Mrs. Winners in a long time because there aren't any close to me, and I was craving the chicken. I should have known better than to go to some ghetto crap on Glenwood! There was a long drive-thru line wrapped around the building so I parked my car, and went inside. The first sight to greet me was a group of homeless dude sitting at the table by the door, hoping to ask people to buy them food, which I would have if it weren't for the next scene to greet me: a customer cussing out an employee behind the counter. The line inside wasn't long but there were lots of people sitting around waiting for their orders, which looked as though they've been waiting for a while. What little chicken under the heat looked over cooked and dinky, and it was just as cold inside as it was outside. I was done when I glanced over at the 83 score on the wall (I don't do less than 95). I walked out without buying anything and took my behind over to Popeyes on Lavista where I should have gone in the first place, and had a pleasant experience compared (99 score) to this nightmare. His place needs to be evacuated, blown up, and a tree planted in its place. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE LOCATION ON HEADLAND NOT GLENWOOD! I didn't actually go to this location, but the one on Headland is not on Yelp. I really like Mrs Winner's, grew up on this franchise chicken spot as a kid. I love Mrs Winner's but what I don't like is the fact when you get the potato wedges they give you like 4 or 5, that use to not be the case. Now once again I was not at this Glenwood location, but the East Point one on Headland and they only give that many. Also while I was in there someone was ordering a sandwich and they asked if they wanted it on a biscuit b/c they were out of buns! Really!? And I heard another worker say they didn't have corn.. Im like why do you all not have certain things, I may can see the corn, but no bun during lunch rush... Unexceptable! I must say they were nice and worked as fast as they could although the inside seemed a lil chaotic and unorganized, but still got the orders right. The drive thru seemed to move faster than I initially thought that's why I went inside, I was the next person in line and it seemed like I was the 10th person in line. I should have stayed in the drive thru. Other than that food is always hot and good for fast food and good for a quick meal. read more

I don't usually eat at fast food restaurants. I was short on time and needed to grab something fast, so Mrs. Winner's was the place. Food was cheap. Service was poor. Although they told me to pull up past the yellow pole, I got my food in about 10mins after that. I ordered the special $5 box and chicken and waffles with a side of that cinnamon roll! Yea I'm fat!! Lol!! I must say everything was satisfying. I even got everything I needed as far as paper towels, syrup and even 2forks!(1fork for my waffle and 1 fork for my cinnamon roll) Most places you have to go back in because they forgot something.(hotSauce was there too)They was on point that day I must say. Neither the less I was disappointed on how fast I got full lol. Just kidding. 5stars to me though. read more

This place never opens on time and they're unprepared to serve people! It's a waste of time. Horrible experience every time..... I'm done

Honestly I come here every time I come on Glenwood. The food is always fresh and tasty. And if I could I would be here EVERYDAY.

I visited the location on Glenwood Rd in Decatur. This was my first time revisiting the business in 8 years. I placed my order in the drive thru. Once at the window, the cashier (T.) repeated my order partially. I reminded her of the two individual items I ordered also, with an irritated response she stated the exact order I placed. I waited a total of 15 minutes in the drive thru. I don't mind waiting as long as my food is hot and fresh. I received my order and slightly glanced into the bag and left. Half way down the road I realized that I didn't see one of the individual items I purchased. I had to go back and get it (annoyed by now because that is the exact reason I REMINDED her of my entire order). I will say that the chicken was hot and fresh. It's definitely not what I remembered loving about the restaurant. The sides were ALL disgusting. The mac and cheese seemed undercooked. The green beans overly seasoned with LEMON PEPPER (what!), the biscuit was soggy and the potato wedges were just ok. I will never visit another Mrs. Winner's again. Side note ..... not everyone possess the mental capability to be in the customer service business. read more
