The food is amazing I've tried a lot of things from there so id like to share my thoughts.first off the wings are amazing they are the perfect size and crunchy with good sauce (depends on sauce) if you are thinking about going id recommend their honey hot flavor there fries are good you just need to go at the counter where there is seasonings and add some salt or whatever you want on your fries or wings their fried rice is good but nor the best there yum yum sauce that comes with it is immaculate the Philly cheesesteaks are so good you would think cheesesteak is in the name of the restaurant for the drinks i recommend mixing fruit punch with lemonade overall best wing spot in Atlanta also they be giving extra wingsssss!!! read more

This place has had me in a chokehold since my very first visit. Definitely a hidden gem, but those who know KNOWWWW wtfgo. Heard about them from coworkers and decided to go check them out for myself. Despite being named "Wings n Grill" they have soooooo much more to offer. My usual order is the 6pc and fish combo. Comes with 6 wings, fries, 2pc catfish (NICE SIZED!!) and a drink. The catfish is truly CHEF'S KISS!! Cooked to perfection The wings are also a missile! My favorite flavor combo is the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper. I've also tried Ranch (fried regular, then tossed in dry rub) and Honey Garlic+Teriyaki, all delicious but the HHLP are number one for me. The options are endless. Even the fries are always fried just right, golden brown and crispy. The only negative about the place is their mix of lemonade,fruit and peach punches. To me, they're weak and all taste like sugar water. Always find myself having to ad something to it, or opting to just get a fountain drink. S/O to the the guy taking the orders (the white guy that's always there). He's great and keeps things running smooth in there. It was an okay visit. I called to pick up my order and waited 30 mins before heading out. When I arrived I still had to wait another 10 or so mins for my food. The reason I mentioned the waiting period is because I only had about 30mins before I had to return to work. The guy who worked there was super nice though. I got my food and let's just say it was not as good as the reviews state. I got the lemon pepper wet and it was more so sour than anything. I'll prob try them again but a different flavor. read more

Let's talk about the wings - Although it was very busy when I got there and the phone was ringing off the hook, the wings came out well done, crispy and full of flavor. Wings are sized perfectly, flavored and crispy to perfection. I knew this restaurant was going to be good when I saw it was near a beauty supply store. Parking is great as it shares a parking lot with Kroger, a Mexican restaurant and other businesses. Staff here are friendly and professional. Also, get you a PEACH DRINK with your wings. I'm fairly skeptical of unfamiliar wing spots. But, I was in no mood to hunt for food so I thought I'd try! I tried the lemon pepper and sweet garlic pepper (which I've never heard of). The lemon pepper wings are good but not comparable to American Deli. Complete different taste, it's almost like a dry rub with sauce. I didn't ask for lemon pepper wet but the wings were in sauce but also felt like a dry rub if that makes sense. I would try them again. The sweet Garlic pepper was the better tasting of the two. Have I been under a rock or is this flavor a thing elsewhere? Anyway I loved it. I was looking for like a sweet chili tasting sauce and I think this is the closest thing. With the heartbreaking closure of Mobeta, this is my regular wings place. The wings are the best in the Decatur area. Not too big, not too small, just crunchy enough but not overcooked. There are lots of flavors to choose from. My favorites are the hot wings and the ranch wings. Everything else, from the fish to the fried shrimp, is good-- not real fancy or different, but tasty and consistently good. Fries are always cooked just right, too. First, good sign when you enter and the place is crowded of people ordering and eating. Felt like I found that spot that everyone knew about but me. Customer service was awesome. TV playing helps pass the time. Ordered the fish and hot honey wings. Fish was decent. The outer part was fried a little too hard for my taste. The wings while tasty were not the size I like. This could have been an easy 4 stars. The wings really were good. There were just too many little things to go beyond 3 stars. I'll start with the menu. Everything was in a 'meal'. The meals could probably be fine for some, but not for all. I can appreciate keeping it simple, but there are ways to give people choice with a simple menu. I rarely order fries with my meal, so including them automatically isn't a good idea. It wasn't busy when I got there. There was one other group eating as we walked in and there was a local pop culture TV show blaring. The folks at the counter were helpful, but didn't seem all that engaged in their work. We ordered a cheesesteak meal and a wing meal. If there were anything that wasn't simple it was the vast array of sauces for your wings. I would cut those down to maybe half a dozen and then maybe take everything out of meals. A simple 'Would you like fries with that?' wouldn't kill the counter staff. I thought our food came to the front a bit slow, but it wasn't terribly so. I think the ratio of people cooking to other help might have been a bit off that night. Also, since we were eating there, sending the meals out in Styrofoam to go vessels seemed a bit out of place. We opened up the treasure boxes and oh my! There was easily 2 lbs of fries in each one. What the heck am I going to do with all of those fries? Maybe that is why they put them in to go boxes? My cheesesteak tasted really good. It was well made, but a bit bready. That could just be personal taste. Compared to most quick places that make that kind of sandwich, it was pretty dang tasty. I do recommend it. Her wings were equally good. They were cooked well with the fat rendered out of the skin so the wings were a delight to eat. (Ever eat those nasty Costco wings from the freezer section? Shudder!) The sauce was secondary to the wings themselves, but it wasn't bad. The fries? I think we ate about 2, but they were good. I just didn't want fries and if I did, I would want about 20% of one order's fries for the both of us. Even though I am giving this place 3 stars, I would go back. I just hope the management is reading this and make some adjustments to the menu. read more
