If you're looking for big juicy wings, skip this place., they have the cutest little wings you've ever seen. They are so tiny they are difficult to eat. They make up for it by smothering these little guys with more sauce than you could ever wish for on the wettest of wet wings. They wings are so small I doubt it's possible to make them juicy. 2 seconds in the fryer and they are crispy crunchy wings. On a positive note, they are cheap. José our waiter is wonderful an helpful. He is always there making sure the customers get really taken care off. He is always quick to make suggestions, as the menu is quite diversified with very good options for a quick bite. It is my place to go, when not interested in cooking or been lazy. Great food and good value for your pocket. They never disappoint and they keep the place clean and maintain neat too. My favorite item so far on their menu is the Fried Whiting Fish. Drove the 15 miles home only to discover that they didn't put any lemon pepper on the wings. I essentially have unbreaded fried wings. I went with a 20 piece wing ($13.79) and selected two flavors. Dry rub lemon pepper for 10, and honey lemon pepper wet for the other 10. One cool thing is they will break down your flavors 5 a piece, so I could've had 4 flavors. Wings were medium sized, crispy (even the wet ones), and I enjoyed the flavor of the honey lemon, which weren't sugary sweet like I thought they might be. The dry lemon pepper wings on the other hand had very little in the way of lemon pepper flavor. In fact I was wondering if they just gave me plain wings until I saw the lemon pepper seasoning. Definitely not aggressively seasoned for sure. Celery and your choice of blue cheese or ranch rounded out the meal. Inside, there's plenty of seating and customer service is just fine, as well as quick. My order took less than 10 minutes, although only one other person was in front of me. Located near best buy off of Lavista Road (right next to Mellow Mushroom Pizza), parking isn't really much of a problem, though it's shared by several small restaurants and of course Best Buy. Where to begin... this place is the BEST wing spot in Atlanta. My husband and I look forward to takeout wing night ever since we found Wings101-more than we probably should, but it's our favorite! First, when you call in an order, it's ready within 10-15 minutes, but they do a great job at timing it perfectly when you walk in so that your food is fresh out of the fryer and not soggy/cold from sitting. Second, this place consistently has a 100 heath score. You can smell how clean this establishment is when you walk in the door. Everything is spotless, and you can see straight into the immaculate kitchen. Third, the employees are TOP NOTCH. The cooks always have on gloves and look put together, and the people at the register are seriously some of the friendliest people ever. They have gotten to know my husband and I more than I would like to admit, and they are always so kind and professional. The girl with the glasses and black hair that's always there is my favorite! She is always smiling and good at getting people in and out fast, and happy. FOURTH- the food, y'all. Our regular order is a 30pc with lemon pepper wet, honey hot, and teriyaki. All the flavors are great, but these are the best. Their lemon pepper wings will end your search forever- I think they might put crack in the sauce . You can tell they use high quality, fresh oil to fry with. Wings are a good size, not too big or small- good ratio of sauce to wing. Fries are always fried perfectly. They also open your containers to let you look at the food when it comes out, and have a seasoning station with lemon pepper sprinkles and seasoning salt, etc. and allow you to season to your hearts content! I seriously wish I could meet the owner of this place to give him a pat on the back for running such a great spot. It's very clear that he/she treats their employees well the way that is run. This use to be a regular go to lunch spot, until recently. I witnessed one of the regular Cooks (older Latin gentleman with the mustache) he blew his nose while wearing the food prep gloves and then he balled up the tissue in one hand and preceded to attempt to cook and handle the food. That is until I said something to one of the Cashiers and asked them to tell him to wash his hands and change his gloves. The Manager happened to also be there at the time as the backup Cashier. I told her about it too, and she apologized, but never walked to the kitchen to speak with him about it. I'll never eat here again. Hate to have the need to stress her great attitude, but sadly being personable & courteous is not the norm everywhere. She was both and had a very sweet demeanor. Tried the sauce, and was not disappointed. Got drink combo of sweet peach flavored drink and mixed with Sprite - my bad, almost syrupy, but added more ice to dilute.
