I found them online and thought I'd give them a try. I'm a great cook myself and did have my concerns. Firstly, the Customer Service was absolutely great! The meals are all affordable and a lot for the price. I ordered the oxtails w/sides and when I tell you that Ms "T" the in house cook took it all the way back to the Ol Skool...! Everything was perfectly seasoned, the meat was falling off the bone tender. So tender I don't even know how the ox stood up! Ordered the wings through UberEats to satisfy a craving. Made the specification that I wanted the wings Hot + Lemon Pepper, and they actually came through! Since I ordered a coke, it came with fries as well, and I opted for the fried okra on the side since I couldn't resist. Wings: I'll have to say these were pretty small, and not crispy in the slightest, but to be fair I had to wait for delivery through UberEats so they were bound to get soggy with the sauce. Crispiness and size aside though, the flavor was amazing, you got the citrus saltiness from the lemon pepper and some surprisingly good heat from the hot. Definitely some good wings that I'd order again. Fries: These were a complete let down, no seasoning at all and tasted like regular frozen crinkle fries. You could tell they weren't fresh. Docked them a star because fries should be easy. Fried Okra: This was actually pretty good. Still crispy, but pretty oily. They came in a brown bag that had about half of it already covered in oil spots. Not a good look. Price: I paid the extra $1 for all flats, which is worth it. My price for wings, fries, fried okra, and a can of coke came out to around $12, which isn't bad at all. Overall, based on wings I've had in the area, these are probably some of the best. This place was the first stop of my incredible birthday weekend of 2018 in Atlanta!!! One of the co-owners, Damoni Hall Dickerson, is a fixture of the Atlanta entertainment scene and the entertainment scene in the United States. I was very familiar with him and follow him on social media. This place hasn't been open long before I was able to check it out. I said to myself whenever I make my next trip to Atlanta this place would be one of the stops!!! They serve a variety of food like wings, burgers, and on Sundays they offer soul food. It's a one meat and two sides deal. I dined on a Sunday, so this is what I had. I ordered the oxtails with rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, and freshly brewed and bottled sweet tea. I hadn't had oxtails in a long time and these were good, so was everything else. I want to come on Tuesdays, which is Mojo Tuesdays. The mojo consists of many vegetables and a grill meat. This is a healthy alternative to all the fried and fatty foods. Both of the owners were very pleasurable and friendly. One cooked the food while the other one manned the front of the restaurant. I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant, I will check them out again when I'm in town!!! read more
