Honey hot Wings (16 Pc) Butter lemon pepper Wings (16 Pc)
    Alexandria J.

Overall, a really good wing spot. Location is sketchy, inside is not bad. The two ladies at the register were both nice. We ordered honey hot and butter lemon pepper, both were sooo good! The wings were a tad small but I'd say it makes up for it with the price in the combo. Alot of fries with each combo.

Wings are good but small. I think this place wins because they will cook your food ANY way you desire: Well, extra well, extra extra extra well. Haha! I've only eaten their wings but they have rice, shrimp, rice and much much more. You can call and order ahead. Food is always fresh. Service is moderately slow but I accredit the fresh food for that. Prices reasonable.

Update; went here today and they gave me these small a** wings the flavors are more so in the container rather than on the wings! The girl at the from was nice, friendly, and welcoming though. I'm not sure when they started selling SMALL wings but for $10 I need medium to large for sure!

    Hot Teriyaki Wings combo

I wanted some wings and I read some reviews about this place so I decided to try it out. I ordered the Combo 1 with hot teriyaki as my wing flavor. The wings were small in my opinion and the meat was tough. They were generous with the sauce on the wings and the flavor was great. The fries were soggy and tasteless; but they're not called Atlanta's best fries. Overall my experience was just okay. Neither good or bad. I expected a little more after reading such great reviews.

100 wing order-Butter Lemon Pepper Sprinkle, Honey Garlic, Mild wings, fries, Fried Okra, Yellow Rice

By far the best wings I've ever had! A large group of us flew to ATL for a vacay and this was a suggested spot that was well worth it! The butter lemon pepper sprinkle was my personal fave, but everyone loved all the flavors we got (mild, and honey garlic). We ordered a hundred and 13 of us killed um! Could've easily ordered 200.

Ok wings. I tried the honey lemon garlic but tasted mostly honey. They did seem fresh. Fried okra was ok, hardly any seasoning and looked way too dark..looks like they don't change their frying oil regularly. The philly cheese was decent but I've had better. Overall, ok food at a reasonable price. But too many similar places in the area with better tasting food.

Atlanta's Best Wings. This is the original. I was told there are 5-6 other locations, but they're all independently owned and operated. In other words, this is not a franchise. I'm no wings aficionado, so I don't know if this restaurant really does have Atlanta's best wings. However, I did enjoy the wings I ordered here very much. This restaurant is more of a take-out joint than anything. It's attached to the Chevron gas station at the corner of Memorial Drive and Columbia Drive. The area is a little sketchy and so can be the clientele. However, I don't think it's bad enough to deter anyone from trying out this place, especially if one is just ordering food to-go. There are plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant and in the Kroger shopping plaza behind. The first thing I noticed about this place is it's a great value. I ordered a 20-piece wings with 2 sides for only $13.09 -- an excellent deal for sure. To give you an idea on pricing (and if you care to linear interpolate), you can order as little as 6 pieces for $4.04 and as many as 100 pieces for $49.89. Sides include cajun rice, yellow rice, coleslaw, French fries, fried okra, hush puppies, jalapeno bottle caps (deep-fried slices of jalapeno), onion rings, and side salad. There are over a dozen wing sauces you can choose from in a variety of spiciness levels. Just because this place is called Atlanta's Best Wings doesn't mean it doesn't have other foods to offer. If wings aren't your thing, you can also order chicken tenders, fried fish (whiting, tilapia, catfish, flounder), shrimp, clam strips, fried oysters, stuffed crabs, sub sandwiches, burgers, and salads (8 different kinds of salads!). In my 20-piece wing order, I chose the Honey Garlic Pepper and Mild Teriyaki flavors. Both were very good. The wings were standard-sized. I was given the option of having them prepared regular or extra crispy. I chose regular. It's nice to have that option. Also, all wing orders are made fresh and the different types of meat are fried in its own separate fryer. Actually, this is standard practice. I preferred the Honey Garlic Pepper over the Mild Teriyaki because it was sweeter and there was less sauce. The Mild Teriyaki was still tasty, though. The wings were demolished. Even though I did not order them extra crispy, I thought they were sufficiently and appetizingly crispy enough. For sides, I ordered the fried okra and cajun rice. I heard the yellow rice is good, but the kitchen was out of it by the time I ordered. The okra was big and consistently bready. It was not as salty nor as greasy as I am accustomed to, and I have eaten *a lot* of fried okra -- it's one of my favorite Southern sides. The cajun rice was decent. I think I would have preferred the yellow rice that others were recommending. One thing I like about the sides is the portion size is quite generous. Service is good. The owner has been working here for many years. He is stern and efficient. The other staff are friendly and helpful. Note you will have to wait 10 minutes or so for your wings order to be completed as everything is made-to-order. One suggestion I have is that they should offer wet naps (a.k.a. moist towelettes) like other wings joints do. The fact that they don't shows you how much of a take-out joint rather than dine-in restaurant this place is. In summary, some very good wings at a great value can be had at Atlanta's Best Wings. Be sure not to get this location confused with the others.

Heard about them from coworkers and decided to go check them out for myself. Despite being named "Wings n Grill" they have soooooo much more to offer. My usual order is the 6pc and fish combo. Comes with 6 wings, fries, 2pc catfish (NICE SIZED!!) and a drink. The catfish is truly CHEF'S KISS!! Cooked to perfection The wings are also a missile! My favorite flavor combo is the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper. I've also tried Ranch (fried regular, then tossed in dry rub) and Honey Garlic+Teriyaki, all delicious but the HHLP are number one for me. The options are endless. Even the fries are always fried just right, golden brown and crispy. The only negative about the place is their mix of lemonade, fruit and peach punches. To me, they're weak and all taste like sugar water. Always find myself having to ad something to it, or opting to just get a fountain drink. S/O to the the guy taking the orders (the white guy that's always there). He's great and keeps things running smooth in there. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was relaxed, welcoming, and unpretentious--exactly what you want when you're looking to settle in and enjoy yourself. A huge part of that experience was our waitress, Carsen. She was incredibly personable, warm, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling forced. Her service was excellent from start to finish--attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed. She made us feel completely at home, like we were being hosted by a friend rather than waited on at a restaurant. Honestly, her energy was contagious. We ended up ordering a third round of drinks purely because she was so darn friendly and fun to talk with. The Universal Joint nails that balance of great service and laid-back comfort, which is harder to find than it should be. Between the welcoming atmosphere and Carsen's standout service, it's easy to say this won't be our last visit. We'll definitely be back--and hopefully sitting in her section again.

Fast fwd.... 2 weeks we were in the area and decided let's give it another try and cash in our credit and have drinks as well. Our experience that I shared with the manager I was initially in contact with is below. I'm posting because of the lack of acknowledgement and the bar tender was extremely nasty for absolutely no reason. Hi Sawyer, I wanted to let you know about our experience today. We stopped by the restaurant to use the gift card and enjoy a few drinks, but unfortunately things went wrong right away. When we walked in, no one greeted us or acknowledged us--we genuinely couldn't tell who worked there. We eventually sat ourselves, and when Jen came over, I let her know we were there to use a gift card you had left. From that point on, her demeanor noticeably changed. She was short, dismissive, and her body language made it clear we were an inconvenience. I provided both my name and my husband's name to help locate the gift card, but her response--or lack of one--made us feel unwelcome, and we decided it was best to leave. I appreciate you offering the opportunity for a good experience at UJ. The previous to-go order didn't impact my overall impression, but today's interaction with Jen unfortunately did. No need to worry about the gift card.
