Easy to miss - tucked inside a contemporary art building that doesn't open until 11! Serves mainly drinks. Has just a few pastries, and they ran out by 9:30am. Don't go looking for breakfast. Drink menu is standard and posted on a glass partition so hard to see and read. The coffee was great - we had a decaf latte and iced vanilla latte. However - the wait is long. With only one barista hand making each drink we waited ~10 solid minutes. Just plan ahead. There are no other coffee shops in the area so they do get busy. Fortunately it's also a little book shop so you can browse the books while you wait.

I am so happy I finally checked out Mr. Wolf Espresso & Books! This place is definitely a gem in the city. It's a beautiful, Black-owned space that simply oozes art, culture, and soul from every corner. I wanted to sit there all day. The vibe is immaculate: it's effortlessly cool and welcoming, featuring great music, an inspiring atmosphere, and a fantastic focus on the local creative scene (they showcase local authors, which is wonderful!). If you're looking for a place to relax, read, or just soak up some genuine energy, this is it. I ordered a Chai Latte with sugar-free caramel added. Honestly, it tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk in the best way possible. It was perfectly spiced, creamy, and I didn't get an artificial aftertaste from the sugar-free syrup. They truly know how to craft a perfect drink. Great service, incredible aesthetic, and phenomenal coffee. I can't wait to go back and try something else! Support this local business!

During my trip to New Orleans, I was lucky enough to visit Mr Wolf twice with my coworkers. Both times, I really enjoyed my lattes. The vibe itself is a curated, and cool. Not surprising since it is located inside of a museum. The staff were very friendly, and made each of our drinks perfectly.

The coffee bags on the walls with paintings of farmers and bulls add an authentic feel to the place. Come inside the shop next to the art gallery and you'll see a cozy spot with friendly people. I got the strawberry hibiscus tea and it is great for a summer drink.

Good vibes. Coffee shop and art gallery. Located inside the large warehouse building, the space is quaint and modern, but spacious. The coffee is good y'all. The brown sugar iced latte tastes like a coffee cake. They also have pastries. The barista was welcoming and very attentive on both occasions we stopped in. The vibe is relaxed with music and art. Restrooms are in the lobby which is slightly inconvenient but it based on the layout of the building. They offer WiFi and accept credit cards.

The whole experience is a 5/5. The staff is very welcoming and the decor is a rotating art exhibit. I had an iced salted caramel latte and a warm almond croissant and enjoyed both.

What a surprise delight! When exploring a new city, I always head to coffee shops and bookstores, so to find one that is both is a bonus. I sat at a table by the window and sipped an Americano while reading through a book on Women and Art. And speaking of art, the artistic decor is such treat! The number of books is very limited and the coffee is great!

I visited Mr. Wolf Espresso a couple of times during my work conference at the convention center. While it's not the closest coffee shop to the convention center, it's definitely a step up from the nearby Starbucks and PJ's. The vibes inside are fantastic--very artsy, with lots of art to enjoy while you wait for your coffee. The same barista was working both days, and she was incredibly nice and was running the shop solo, so you know she's killing it. If you're at the convention center, I highly recommend taking the short walk to Mr. Wolf Espresso. It's a nice break from the chaos, and you'll be supporting a great local spot.

Super cute and artsy vibe. Great spot to get some work done or stop by after a visit to the Contemporary Arts Center. Delicious coffee!

We went all in: shrimp and grits that were downright phenomenal (I'm still thinking about them), a goat cheese omelette that was so good it made me question all my past breakfast decisions, and pancakes with berries that tasted like they were made by someone who genuinely cares about your happiness. The coffee? Strong enough to fix your life. The service? Warm, attentive, and somehow psychic--they just knew when we needed refills or another mimosa (which, for the record, felt less like a drink and more like a lifestyle choice). Honestly, this place doesn't just serve breakfast--it gives you a reason to get out of bed. 10/10 would wake up early again... and I do not say that lightly.

Our goal every year is to find somewhere new, and Cafe FDL definitely fit the bill this year. There is quaint seating on the first and second floor, and it feels like there's not going to be enough room, but the wait isn't bad. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was hot and filling. The alcohol was... alcohol. What's there to say about that? Price wise, it was reasonable, and it was filling enough that I wasn't hungry when I left, nor was I ill-prepared for any shenanigans that the say might bring. Definitely a solid choice for breakfast in the Quarter. Not fancy, but filling!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.
