I was in the neighborhood and my friend wanted bubble tea. Didn't feel like rushing to Flushing and getting there, only to find the store closed when I got there. Glad I found this place. When I arrived, there was no line so I got to examine the menu. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I told the employee to take her time. Wanted ginger milk tea though it's out of season. Finally decided on black tiger milk. The store doesn't accommodate requests for less sugar or less ice. The drink comes with bubbles automatically. Surprisingly, my friend liked the black tea milk, not a fan of bubbles. Definitely a place I would go to if I'm in the neighborhood. There are seats for posing on IG. Really cute bubble tea shop on Fresh Pond Road. They have lots of seating inside and wifi. The menu has all of the bubble tea offerings you could wish for. Fruit tea, milk tea, all of it. They also have oolong soft serve and brown sugar milk tea, yum! I got a mango tea with fresh pulp and the waffle cakes with custard. The waffle cakes were served very warm. These seem like the perfect treats for a winter or autumn day! I'll definitely be back for more boba tea from Mr.Wish. read more

The salted milk cap seemed perfect for the dragonfruit drink because it needed that boost but it's hard to mix since it's thick and gets messy. That was when we wondered where the napkins were lol. Was taking a stroll around the neighborhood and feeling thirsty. Found this little shop from Yelp. I was impressed by their service - I decided on a Taro milk, and the server at the counter took the time to share what goes into the tea and its texture, and how the taro is made fresh, which is not something everyone likes. I have had fresh taro milk from other places before, so I went with it, but I appreciated the thoughtfulness from the server. The drink was super delicious - creamy, thick, and pleasantly sweet. I was walking by and decided to give this place a try, and I was met with one of the rudest servers(the woman) I've ever encountered! The entire time my order was being taken, she had an AirPod in the whole time and actually got upset with ME because they didn't have what I wanted. After the interaction, she kept making snarky comments under her breath( I believe she was on the phone) and was taking an unbelievable amount of time to make my drink. There is usually only one lady or man working. The one woman who works, always has her airpod in and is always sniffling all over the drinks. I just went in, not only was I waiting ten minutes, she decides to take 2 customers in front of me who weren't even in the line. Finally they opened a location closer to me, I used to drive all the way to Kew Gardens for Mr. wish, but now it is less than a 15 minute drive for me to get here. Their drinks are so refreshing and their boba is super chewy. My favorite drink to get from here is the orange green tea because it tastes like real fresh orange juice being used. This location also seems to have milk tea soft serve, which I definitely want to try some day. I appreciate how much effort the workers put into making their drinks because I noticed them measuring and weighing the different parts of the drink. The cashier gave me attitude and told me I couldn't pay with card for less than two drinks, though there's no indication that it's a cash only establishment. I said no worries and then said she would let it slide this time, but next time to bring cash. I let her know it was my first time so there was no way I could have known this, but I'll know for next time. When making other drinks I saw her shaking them, but when it came to my drink, she haphazardly put it down and told me to "shake it" on my own. Customer service is trash! I don't even feel bad saying that, went there multiple times, the staff especially the girls are ridiculously rude, yes I understand there are no substitutions but you can be nice about it and say "I'm sorry but It's already premixed" or whatever But starlight up "No" doesn't sound good at all! Long wait, slow and RUDE service! If you're not happy at your job, QUIT! So happy the new place a block away opened, will be going there! Never again coming back.
