Mr. West is another one of my favorite cafes. I love their coffee and the ambiance. It's the perfect spot to get some work done or simply hang out and relax. I've also tried their grilled cheese sandwich, which was pretty good. Overall, it's a great cafe with excellent coffee.

Snagged 2 seats at the bar. Otherwise it's open seating and you stand in line to order food. It was nice to sit at the bar as it was not as noisy sitting at the tables. Ordered the club sandwich ($18.50) and Mr. West Combo $16 - half sandwich, tomato soup and a cookie. They messed up my sandwich as I wanted a tuna melt but quick fix for that. Food was tasty and decent portions. Good option for a meal and drinks in UVillage.

This used to be my go to coffee shop when in the area. I love the space and the vibe and the coffee / food used to be great. The last couple times I've been I've been disappointed in both AND the prices have really gotten high. I know most coffee shops are experiencing this but this place seems really extreme.

There was a long line on weekend brunch hours. We got coffee (both or espresso drinks - a Cortado and the other was a macchiato) and pastry. I forgot the name of the pastry, but it was with berries and it was amazing. The line took us about 20 minutes

Great cafe for healthy brunch and breakfast. I love it that there are more vegan and vegetarian options. I had the shashuka, it was super delicious. A great comfort food on a rainy Seattle morning. The coffee was solid. It was a pleasant experience.

Good place to study! It closes late which is really nice. I ordered a grilled cheese and a plain latte and both were good. I know they have good specialty drinks--I've tried the cardamom one in the past but wasn't a big fan--but lots of variety. Expensive-ish but worth it! In the cafe, there was light music, good lighting, and I could find a seat.

Great breakfast place in U village (really the only option). Their curried avocado toast is incredible with the crumbled bacon on top. I will get it every time even if it's kind of overpriced...$21. Their drinks are on the pricier end as well. It's honestly a really cute and fun vibe once you're sitting down and have your food/drinks in front of you. I just really don't enjoy the mad house it is when you walk in. It gets stressful waiting in a line to order food and then waiting in a separate line to order a cocktail. After all the waiting, you then have to fight for the limited seating.

WiFi has definitely improved! The staff are friendly and food is tasty. It's cozy and has a nice ambiance. Hopefully once winter hits it stays warm cause I've been coming here a lot lately!

This place as cute as the photos! The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. However I could see how busy it gets. Luckily for me, no one was at the kiosk on a Tuesday around 11. I got a coffee (5.50) and a croissant (3.50). The croissant was 10/10. It was warmed perfectly and super buttery. The coffee was good but it's not the greatest thing. Pricing on both items was reasonable! There was no seating available, but next time would like to see how dine in goes. If you're looking for a cute cafe to get some work done, I would recommend Mr West

We ordered coffee since we just had dinner. They had a patio out back and where we sat. The coffee tasted delicious and it even had a cute design. Service was fast and ambience is very inviting.

Wanted a bite to eat early in the morning at u village and this is the only spot open, it was pretty crazy line at 10/11 am and a little hard to find seating but we got spots in the indoor outdoor area. There wasn't much interaction with service as you order through a tablet and they text you to pick up your order at the bar and it's self service clean, it was a little hard to find the cleaning tubs though. Overall it was very nice and the food was good and great spot when you're at the mall. The savory roll was meh but the brussel sprouts and sandwich was alright, I thought the coffee was pretty oaky too.

My new favorite place where I can study and have good coffee. Although the place is generally full all the time and its a bit on the noisier side (understandably of its location), but it has a very good vibe to it and good place to hang out as well. If you are not into quiet places to study, then this is a perfect place. Their food is also good - my fav has been - Mr Breakfast, Grilled Cheese and Regular Fries. They are somewhat pricy but still worth it. Service is pretty fast. One minor suggestion- some baristas make brilliant coffee but some make it in a rush so they miss the correct proportion of milk.

Last time the owner himself was there talking to us and he was amazing. But sometimes I come in and there is different staff that is so mean. This time I drove all the way from Queen Anne, and the lady looked at us (we are younger) and rolled her eyes and put us in the worst seat imaginable and asked if we had reservations. Then another older couple came in after with no reservations two minutes later and she graciously escorted them to the main room. Kinda an L because we are regulars and big spenders here. I got up and left.

When I went for my first time. It was on a hot day this past June. Me and my partner thought we'd go and treat ourselves to a nice outing. Since I've always wanted to try this place due to hearing a bunch of good things from some colleagues. We set our eyes on a late lunch/ early dinner at Bottle House. Came in optimistic especially after being seated right away in their outdoor patio section. We were off to a great start, until it turned into a lot of waiting. We gave the benefit of the doubt assuming they were just busy. It wasn't until we saw a few groups that got seated after us get their order taken before us that we decided to flag someone down. Once we did, we were told to wait a few more moments because another group had to be checked on before we could get our orders taken. Surprisingly we were still in good spirits. We ordered our drinks, as well as our food so we could be set. Then afterwards our drinks came. This is where my experience spiraled down. I picked up my wine glass filled with this Bordeaux wine that I was excited to try. Pressed the rim against my lip and took my sip. It hit me like a hot flash. The temperature of this wine was warmer than warm. It also wasn't just my wine but my partners's as well. So we managed to get a servers attention, voiced our concern and asked if we could order a different drink. I decided to go with a cocktail and my partner decided to order the Chardonnay. When they dropped off our new drinks, they happened to be the wrong drinks. What had happened was they were a different tables drinks and when we flagged the same server down. they already seemed annoyed that we were gonna address a discrepancy. We eventually got the right drinks then our food. At that point we just wanted to drink our drinks and finish our food. I enjoyed the food flavor wise, but I wasn't satisfied with the amount of food for the price I paid. If it was one of the better things I ate in my life I would be happy with paying however much for the amount of food I got. Sadly that wasn't the case. White wine was chilled so it was good and I liked the Chardonnay. The old fashion wasn't akin to a typical old fashion. It was more like a boulevardier, not as whiskey forward, but more alcoholic. Not my favorite old fashion All in all this review was geared towards service, and quality of the drinks. Especially if you're supposed to be known for the variety of wines you serve. I would hope you can serve them at a decent temperature. Based off this experience alone, I wouldn't personally suggest them if someone was looking for a recommendation.

I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred. This is a great place to go to impress someone with the chic vibes, but good wine can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price. I do see the appeal though. Great first impression since this was my sister's first time at Joey, or so I thought. We get seated at the outside patio and we order water to start. The water glasses came in a very small glass and since it was hot out, we drank our cups fast. I asked our waitress if we could have a pitcher / jug / container of some sort explicitly saying we want to refill our glasses. I suppose there was a miscommunication because a different waitress brought a bottle and then 3 more glasses out. We were then charged $10 for the bottle. I really just wanted a pitcher of tap, ice cold water we could drink since our waitress was not attentive to us whatsoever. My frustrations lie with the service we were given. 3 people eating at Joey is NOT cheap. It took 20 minutes for us to order our drinks and appetizer. Our appetizer came out before our drinks. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks after that. A different waitress brought them out so at this point we have three waitresses, have been there nearly 50 minutes in the heat, barely any water with NO ice, and still have not ordered our food. I am disappointed since it had died down and there were only 3 other tables occupied outside at this point. Our waitress finally asks for our orders and we wait another 20 minutes for our food to come out. My partner ordered a larger size steak - $7 more. When the plates were brought out my sides were paired with his steak on my plate and vice versa. We asked the waitress can you verify that the 7 oz. steak was present in front of one of us since we were paying more. She left and checked with the chef, but we had to wait even more time before we ate in case they needed to take our plates back. We eat our meal and finish with our plates cleaned, glasses empty, and all stacked with napkins on top indicating we were finished eating. Our waitress walked past multiple times without ever checking in on us. She walked by and I eventually waved my hand and asked for the check. I see the $10 bottle was charged and asked for it to be removed. Thankfully, they did. Food was good as I have eaten Joey at the Bellevue location, but for the $160 tab I am VERY dissatisfied with our service. For the time and money we spent I would have appreciated more check ins, our food plated correctly, and WAY faster service. All in all, we sat there for over an hour and half when it could've been an hour max. Also, we were served room temperature water on a hot day when other tables had ice. Hoping the managers work on service. Don't waste your hard earned time and money by visiting this location, just go to Bellevue. Never had this bad of service there ONCE.
