These guys came to our street to do some landscaping for our neighbor. One of the supervisors or whoever forgot to chalk the wheels on the truck and the truck came skidding down our hill all the way to the bottom causing thousands of dollars worth in damage while also knocking down our trees in the front of our house. We confronted the owner of the company that they could have killed one of the children playing outside and his reply to me was to (shut the f*** up you smart ass). I therefore called the police and they made an agreement with the city instead of with us the homeowners to short cut the situation and come and plant new trees of which they did a very terrible job and the trees they replanted were no where near similar to the ones we had there for years being here. Anyways now my curb side and sidewalk is cracked. I called another company to come and inspect the work they did and they told me that the trees were not even planted professionally and need to be removed. You can just see the bumps from how they planted the roots very high up causing future problems with tons of money coming out of our pocket to repair the damages they caused. I would not recommend this company to anyone if they have any care for their property at all whatsoever period. read more

Gave us a great rate and was happy to answer my questions about the other trees on our property. Really trustworthy guy who gave us some sound advise for more than just the tree he came out for. I've used Mr. Tree when we bought our home in 2005 to remove the "forest" from our backyard ( about 8 -9 trees in all ) and then again a month later to make an RV pad ( yes they do concrete work too ). I later recommended them to neighbor to add to their driveway. All work was above standard and in a timely and efficient manner. They charge a little more than some and less then others but you'll get far more than you pay for. My wife and I used Mr. Tree again to remove a very difficult Doug Fir from our front yard. They , as usual, left us with all the nice firewood and kindling. Their clean-up was excellent, even in the street. A few days later they ground our stump with some big , protruding, roots, down to nothing. GREAT JOB! They even have people in reserve to take care of any displaced animals that might dwell in the trees they take out. You'll never go wrong with them. read more

After a round of winter storms hit the area, we were in desperate need of someone to clean up the broken branches from our Doug Fir tree that needed to be removed immediately and discuss possible full removal. It was promising when Trevor came out right away and gave us a quote, which we thought was reasonable for an emergency. He then said that he was going to get back to us with a permit from the city after the weekend and never heard back. We had to call him a week later to find out what was going on. He had been out sick, which is understandable on why he didn't get back to us, but the company should have put someone else on the job or should have contacted us on the situation. He got back to us later that day and told us he was going to stop by for us to sign the permit. He was timely on that and told us that he would get back to us after the weekend. A week and half has gone by and we have not heard anything. We need these limbs taken care of and we were brushed off to the side. We will be looking elsewhere. read more

I was scheduled to have a dangerous tree cut from my yard. It's a huge tree hanging over my house. I waited 2 weeks to get the power company and the tree company here at the same time. The 2 companies show up to do the work, Power company drops my power . I then find out the guys that came out don't know how to use the bucket truck they were driving. So now sitting in my home with no power. I then talk with the scheduler that tells me 3 different times that someone else will show up to take care of the tree. So finally at 3pm ( scheduled at 8 am ) the manager tells me that she can't get anyone one here until next wed. Her excuse being that the bad weather has put her company way behind. If that were the case couldn't they have just called me the day before and rescheduled ? Rather than leaving me in my home all day with no power and 4 promises of time when they were going to show up. The best part of all of this is we have a big wind storm coming tomorrow. I hope the tree hold thru that .. Now they want me to trust there company to come back to my house and I get to again schedule the power company and again take the day off. It's amazing the lack of care this company has for other peoples valuable time. This is the most I have ever been put out by any company, and all they offer me is to put me thru the same thing again just another day., with no guarantee they will show . Really Really BAD !!!!!!!! The best part of all of this is. The manager says if the tree falls this weekend , please give them a call they have emergency services. Residential multiple small tree removal and stump grind. First crew was unbelievably disappointing. Didn't trim down limbs before dragging thru rose bed and down the side of the house - damage to both. I sent them away before stump grinding began. Estimator (Diane) immediately called back/came out - very apologetic and determined to satisfy me. I was impressed until several days later my neighbor showed me where the first crew set a gas can in his newly sodded yard that killed the grass. Then he told me he cleaned the machine grease drippings from the street in front of his driveway. I'm giving them an OK rating because the second crew was very careful and Diane made every effort to leave me satisfied. read more

We have over 100 foot fir tree that needed a trim. To add to the problem we have a fence that surround it plus a play structure. These guys did a wonderful job. They were on time and left our place cleaner than when they arrived. This was not a simple job. They are now our "go to" people when ever we need a tree trim. You guys are the Best!! read more

The actual tree cutting by the crew was pretty darn good. They did the job on September 28, but didn't complete it until mid-December. This was squarely on the shoulders of Chris Overton, who dropped the ball at every opportunity. When he quoted the job, he said he'd be here every step of the way, but left within minutes of meeting up with the crew (they showed at 7:30 and he didn't roll up until 7:55), which led to the poor communication with the crew resulting in them needing to come back to finish the work requested and quoted. He again failed to show up with the crew as he'd promised to do. They needed to complete 3 items, one of which was stump removal. The locator people came out promptly, put up flags, tagged our front yard with ugly orange and red paint, but they took 6 weeks to come back to do it and the paint had all washed out. I repeatedly called back and Chris would always make promises and not deliver. Finally, mid December, they completed the job and we promptly paid the invoice. We just got home from a two week vacation and taped on our front door was a FINAL NOTICE (spelled finale, by Chris, I would assume). What a rude thing to do when Chris was the flake. We pay our bills and fulfill our promises, so to have that greet us at the front door was maddening. Not sure why the company would put trust in Chris, maybe he's family, but his word is worthless and he really does a disservice to an otherwise good company. read more

The crew did a wonderful job on my trees and hedges. I was so pleased with Chris the estimator that stayed through out the job to make sure all went well and I was happy with the entire project. I will hire Mr Tree again for my rental house tree work. read more
