Annoying but I understand they're busy at the end of the day when folks get out of work to take their car there. After leaving and driving all of 5 miles (and picking up my mom to go to a concert), my rear driver tire was flat. Pulled over and changed the tire. Already I planned on returning the next morning for a refund or some sort of compensation. At this point it was too late to go to the concert (also due to the fact that the appointment took over 2hrs) so we decide to go get dinner in east aurora. Hesitantly, I get on the 400 and after about 30 seconds of driving on the thruway, second flat tire, this time it was my rear passenger tire. Called roadside assistance and waited 2hrs on the side of the 400 at night in December. When roadside arrived, I realized my front passenger tire was also flat. Roadside took us back to the Union rd Dunn Tire location. Thank god the first tire went on a 30mph road and the second and third tires went while speeding up, not when I was at full speed. If I had been well on the thruway doing 70 and both tires went at once? Myself and my mother could have been seriously hurt or worse. The tires, upon closer inspection, were not attached to the wheels properly so when I turned my vehicle they started to slip off. Unbelievable negligence. I went in there the next morning and had the manager look at my car. He took it in and redid all of the tires as well as replaced the two rear tires. His explanation was that the valve stems were not replaced properly, which frankly I think is bullshit and I guess a better sounding excuse than "yeah my employee didn't properly install tires at a shop called dunn TIRE". He was apologetic and offered a full refund. I don't remember his name but he was good. Whoever worked on my vehicle should never touch one again, and after escalating this with a DM via email, I eventually stopped hearing back. I can't stress enough how much worse this could have been. Maybe this place shouldn't hire a bunch of 20 something year olds that skipped steps in their job bc they wanted to leave on time on a Friday night. Do not go to this location. It was my first time after only going to the McKinley pkwy location prior. Absolutely do not let those people do anything to your car.

I tried scheduling an appointment down the road at Pep Boys but they couldn't get the tires put on until the next day. Goodyear had the tires readily available but they were more expensive which is kind of a bummer considering their name is on the tire and the building. Regardless, I didn't want to wait any longer so I made an appointment here. The confirmation advised that it would take a couple hours to put them on. Got there half an hour early. Bill, who was very kind, advised that it would in fact take a couple hours. Kind of inconvenient because I know Pep Boys and other tire service places will put the shoes on right then and there and have you out within half an hour. But I went to Wegmans next door for lunch and shopping. By the time I was done my car was ready. Another bummer was not being told about the rebates Goodyear advertised on their website. Had I not made the appointment online I would've been out $100. At the end of the day this place serviced me in a quick and convenient fashion. And the tires are night and day VS the baldies I was riding on prior.

Goes in the shop and comes back out and says they didn't do it......... he's response is we didn't teach them how to read? Can't get to it today now so I'm basically out of luck. Acts as if my time is not valuable at all, no help with setting up a secondary appointment, nothing! Come to find out they didn't rotate my tires either. All of this is listed on the bill. So it looks as if it was done and used 1 alignment out of my six. This is fraud and completely unacceptable.

He worked with us to get a used tire on the rim, balanced, and ready to go. He got the tire out of the car, and when it was done, he put a bag over it and placed it back in the car. Especially noteworthy was the initiative that he exercised in giving us the tire for free, only asking that we come back and purchase tires from them in the future. I appreciated the kindness and I will be back to purchase tires in the near future. As I said, wonderful initiative to build customer relationships without depending on manufacturer discounts. I stripped the wheel weights off, cleaned the inside of the rims and deflated the tires for them. I made the deal and paid a deposit Monday Oct. 28th. Dropped off the wheels Oct. 29th and was told they might be done by 4 pm Oct 30th. They had to get the tires from their Lockport store. I called them at 4 pm Oct. 30th to check status. Not done. Called back Thursday Oct 31st. I was told they have to get the tires from the Lockport store (???) and they will be done Friday Nov 1st in the morning. I called back at 12:30 Nov 1st to check status. They are working on them right now. At 2:30 they are finally done. I get them...take them home and mount them. I looked at the date codes just out of curiosity. Normally 4 tires would have matching or close dates codes. 2 tires matched (2124) 1 tire is (3323) 1 tire is (4623). So 2 tires have been sitting for 1 year and 2 tire were made this year 2024. No apologies, no discount for my inconvenience. I will never ever do business again nor trust Tread City Tires.

I can say overall that going with them was the best decision I ever made. We actually bought the tires last year (2021), they replaced all four tires and did some extra alignment work that needed to happen. Since then they've held up so well, and I haven't had to have any work done with the tires since. Though Fox Tire gave us the least expensive option, they absolutely have the BEST tires to offer, and absolutely fabulous service on top of it. A year later now, I discovered a nail in my tire and was worried it'd have to be replaced. After stressing about the expense of some new tires I ended up bringing my car back to Fox with the original receipt for the tires to get an opinion on whether I would need to replace it. Fortunately, they were able to patch my tire. FOR FREE, because I still had my receipt from buying tires from them originally. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS PEOPLE!! They absolutely saved my life today. They weren't busy at all so they were able to take my car in right away and patch it up no problem. It took less than ten minutes. FABULOUS service. The team here is so nice and they took a huge weight off of my shoulders being able to take care of the issues with my tires so quickly. Not only do they do quality work, but the services they offer absolutely make it worth it to continue to come back to them with any issues.

They told me they purchase used tires and that the range is typically $10-$80 per tire depending on condition and demand. After I brought the tires in, they offered only $10 per tire, then raised it to just $12.50 per tire. That is $50 total for four good-condition EV winter tires that originally cost around $1,000. The offer was ridiculously low and felt like a complete waste of my time. I would not recommend bringing used tires here unless you are ready to be lowballed.
