I was charged and discovered the tire hadn't never been changed. The nail was still in the tire! Took it back. The person I spoke to didn't seem surprised and didn't even ask to see it. They knew. I was asked if I wanted my money back plus a new tire. I turned it down. I no longer trust them. Took my car to Big D tire around the corner. ****Amended review... Ben, the store manager, completely stepped up to personally call me and resolve the situation. Would have given Ben 5 stars. The location gets 4 because of initial frustration. Worst experience ever. Dunn used to be a premier location for tires. Do NOT go there. EVER. Appointment was made with online chat agent and specific tires that were recommended were "ordered " by agent. Showed up at appointment time to find that appointment was not seen in the "new system". Did not have time to do the car at that point. Lodged complaint with Dunn. Found a spot for the next morning. Wone up to be there at 7:30am to find that the tires are not on site, after they took my tires off. Offered tires of less quality. No thank you. Took the car and left. read more

Do not recommend. Spent over $3000, 18 months later and bearing went bad after they replaced. New bearing covered under warranty, but they charge you labor $180 to replace, and another alignment, now $300 charge for inferior or defective products used. Also 3 year warranty now 1 year! I took my truck in for routine oil change and tire rotation. Half way through the service, I was notified that all my lug nuts were swelled up and every single one needed to be replaced, which would be over 100.00 up charge. My truck is fairly new and I found it very suspicious that this was first time I was notified by technician. I purchased tires through Dunn tire and they were only company removing my tires from time I purchased my truck. I do not trust this company to ever service my truck and I have no intentions to bringing my truck in to any location. I do not recommend. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM I bought 2 rear tires, 2 months ago, They are shredding, falling apart, and hazardous! I barely made it home from Salamanca,to Springville. They refused, laughed, and blamed it on my car, (That only has 32,k miles on it) fairly new!!! I show up on time to my appointment they have no record of my appointment or even have the size tires I need in stock. So either I was lied to, or the combined IQ of the employees that work there is on par with an average 12 year old. Just go somewhere else to spend your money read more

Probably the place you'd want to avoid if you are looking for quality service. Went in to replace 4 tires and they walk out with filters from under my hood trying to sell me new ones for a huge price gouge. This service was never mentioned to me, or agreed upon. They then put the four new tires on, not even 15 minutes after leaving my check engine light comes on. When looking at my vehicle with my father, who was a mechanic, my tubing connecting to the air filter was left disconnected and nothing they tinkered with properly secured in place. I also somehow mysteriously was extremely low on break fluid upon further inspection although they gave me a sheet afterwards that shows that when they received my vehicle it was full, the sheet also shows no lights were on upon arrival. 500 dollars to leave with a car that now has to be taken to the shop or fixed by my father. They did offer to have me come back to take a further look, but i would not trust them to even open a door on my car again considering it is a tire shop and NOT a reputable mechanic. read more

I have no idea why this place is so poorly rated on here. I've been here at least a dozen times and have always had outstanding service. Everyone has been nothing but pleasant, knowledgeable, and the service is as fast and as thorough as one can expect. What more can one ask for? Oh! Also, if you need your TPMS taken care of, come here instead of the dealer. It would have cost me over $200 for one sensor replacement and here it's $70, which is even less than the deductible if you got the extended warranty ($100). It's the same system. read more

At my suggestion, my daughter took her car to this Dunn Tire location for service before returning to college. Unfortunately things didn't get done as I had expected and I expressed my displeasure and frustration with them about it. The response from the management team was nothing short of amazing. They listened to my concerns, understood and apologized, and then did everything humanly possible to make things right. Suffice to say, they changed my opinion of them from one of disappointment, to one of appreciation and the feeling that they truly care about their customers. I always buy tires from a different tire center - but an unfortunate blowout brought me on a hook to Dunn. They did what I asked, then tried to sell me other things [that I needed] but they were way too expensive. They had to order one tire and put it on - I had to go somewhere else to get the other work done [for $900 less]. I appreciate they have a "master mechanic" on staff to get into the "F you over" add-on sale, but I'm too swift to fall for that. Very nice people, but a bit on the oversell ... which makes me say stay away. IMHO read more

Recently I had my car in for service-changing winter tires to summer tires. When I picked up my car I noticed damage to 1 of my wheel covers. I brought it to the attention of the manager, Tony. He treated me with respect and concern. He checked the wheel cover & asked pertinent questions. By the next day Tony provided a new wheel cover for me. Installation of the wheel cover was kindly offered & completed by Dunn. I have been a 15 year+ satisfied customer of the McKinley Dunn Tire Store. This is my second purchase of tires at Dunn - I appreciate the ability to search out tires on-line and schedule the installation before going to the store. There was a glitch with the installation of my most recent purchase, but I contacted the customer service manager (on a Sunday!) and received a prompt and satisfactory resolution. All I can say is, only come here if you have all day free. I booked an 11:00 am appointment to get 2 new tires. First of all when I get here they ordered the wrong tires. but they had other ones on hand to sell me which was fine. I was told on the phone it should take about an hour to install the tires. so I have a friend pick me up so I don't have to sit there for an hour. OVER 3 HOURS LATER my car is still not done. TO INSTALL 2 TIRES??? That is the only service I was having done! As I enter the building to get my car, there are people waiting everywhere. they are all ticked off saying they have been waiting over 2 hours. One woman is yelling at them. Another is saying "so much for having an appointment huh". I don't have this kind of time. I've always used Fox Tire in the past and it took 20 minutes. I only came here this time because it was a bit closer. I would truly never use them again. There was another man arguing with the employee over a coupon they wouldn't let him use. I've never seen anything like this. I also asked in advance if they can give my vehicle an oil change. They were too busy they said. Go elsewhere if your time is valuable. Too many tire places to deal with this place. Very disappointed. read more

Very upset. My husband took his truck in on a Saturday am for 4 tires and was told it be done by end of the day. He called an hr before closing and was told they were extremely busy and he probably wouldn't get it till Monday by close. That is unexceptable esp when that is only means for transportation to work with all his tools he needs. Sevice person then said they were staying late that night (lie as we drove by and they were closed at 5pm) and husband truck would be done Sunday for sure. Well Sunday an hr before close we decided to go over to see if done. Husband went in and they have seemed to lost paperwork. Husband said he is not leaving until his truck has 4 new tires on it. If you couldn't do it that day then it's better to be honest so people can take their business elsewhere esp when you loose a day's pay because of a lie. Called to make an appointment ( thought i was calling the store, but apparently they have a centralized call center),. Asked to make an appointment but was told i didn't have to have one and just walk in .After showing up at store and telling them what i needed done, they promptly asked if i had an appointment . I told them about my call to customer service and they said it would be 3-4 hours before they might be able to pull my vehicle in. Customer service has no idea what the stores are doing and have no business making appointments ( hahaha ) or telling customers ( ex customers) just to walk it. read more
