He walked across the street to the shop to ask for help trying to replace the serpentine belt even if it was only advice. He would have gladly paid someone to walk over and help, but was told in no uncertain terms :we're too busy". As the garage closed for the day and we were still sitting in the parking lot, every single worker walked out and drove away. So much for "exceptional customer service", treating people "like family", friendly down to earth. I can only hope someday they need a little help to get through and are turned away. FYI....both the staff at Advance Auto Parts and Mark S., service manager at West Herr Chevy in Hamburg, went above and beyond to get us going again. Now that's exceptional customer service!!!

He would find a way to word or express what was wrong with my vehicle, how much the parts would be, and what the estimated total would be with labor in an easy way for me to understand without making me feel like a moron (like some mechanics have done). He also helped me plan along like "well if you need to wait a week til next paycheck you could drive it but I wouldn't do more than that." Or when her frame gave out and he had to tell me that the cost to fix it would be more expensive than just getting another used car. At Vics you can really tell that Chris and his team put their customer's first and I'll keep going back to them for services. Affordable, respectful, and communicative, Vics is the place to go and has my HIGHEST recommendation!!

And idk who but told me they don't charge for it so they don't put it on the receipt ( yet they're doing work to my car, not documenting it) and to drop it off and will take 40 mins.. brang it back for them to fix and when I dropped it off , the older gentleman on the left lift he didn't seem in the best mood and sorta just hung my keys up and kept working I told him I parked it on side street and left. I had to call them 3.5 hours later saying what's the deal and . They told me ohh yeah it's been done you can get it whenever. I called Steve's and the whole office was so kind and helpful! They are all very busy people but still made me feel like my son's safety was their main priority. On Steve's recommendation, I was able to find a salvage yard that offered me double what the car was worth at scrap price!! Throughout this whole event, it costed me less than $100!!!
