He is from this area and is a trusted neighborhood businessman. I was in a horrible accident in Warsaw and crushed between 2 trucks. I was on my way to a festival as a vendor and had thousands of dollars of merchandise in my car. My partner called Terry when I was in the hospital and Terry made arrangements with the local towing company to store my vehicle inside a locked facility until it he could have it towed back to his garage so I could try to salvage as much of my merchandise as possible. The car was a complete loss, he was not going to make any money out of this. He did it all because that is just who he is, a decent man and friend to all of his customers.

I called Steve's and the whole office was so kind and helpful! They are all very busy people but still made me feel like my son's safety was their main priority. They all went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. In the end, the car was worthless and heading to a salvage yard. I found myself, yet again, not knowing what to do. On Steve's recommendation, I was able to find a salvage yard that offered me double what the car was worth at scrap price!! Throughout this whole event, it costed me less than $100!!! And a special Thank You to the ladies in the office!! I can not say this enough....the world would be a better place if we had more Steves in it!

He walked across the street to the shop to ask for help trying to replace the serpentine belt even if it was only advice. He would have gladly paid someone to walk over and help, but was told in no uncertain terms :we're too busy". As the garage closed for the day and we were still sitting in the parking lot, every single worker walked out and drove away. So much for "exceptional customer service", treating people "like family", friendly down to earth. I can only hope someday they need a little help to get through and are turned away. FYI....both the staff at Advance Auto Parts and Mark S., service manager at West Herr Chevy in Hamburg, went above and beyond to get us going again. Now that's exceptional customer service!!!

He would find a way to word or express what was wrong with my vehicle, how much the parts would be, and what the estimated total would be with labor in an easy way for me to understand without making me feel like a moron (like some mechanics have done). He also helped me plan along like "well if you need to wait a week til next paycheck you could drive it but I wouldn't do more than that." Or when her frame gave out and he had to tell me that the cost to fix it would be more expensive than just getting another used car. At Vics you can really tell that Chris and his team put their customer's first and I'll keep going back to them for services. Affordable, respectful, and communicative, Vics is the place to go and has my HIGHEST recommendation!!

Check struts/suspension and call me with opinion, 4. a wheel alignment if it needed it from #3 . 5 oil change , waited my week and half. Took it there early at 8am on Monday . Wrote on a piece of paper and placed it on my dashboard before I turned my keys over stating the above things as well with my phone number in #3 for calling me about struts/suspension. I get a automated text around 1pm saying my cars done. So no phone call the whole time!Go pick my car up they tell me $450 and they replaced the ball joints tire roto and balance(but they didn't put balance on the receipt because they don't charge?) wheel alignment and oil change. I paid cash just upset cause a silent anxiety attack. I drove home 15 mins away on the throughway doing 55-65 with flow of traffic and my car/steering wheel/tires are shaking and vibrating worse. Immediately slowed down to 50 got home and parked it . Couldn't sleep even sent a text back to the automated number at 6am upset that I paid $450 for work I never authorized. Also seen balancing wasn't on the receipt . I called at 8am when they opened and said what happened to me and if they forgot to balance the tires because it's not on paperwork. And idk who but told me they don't charge for it so they don't put it on the receipt ( yet they're doing work to my car, not documenting it) and to drop it off and will take 40 mins.. brang it back for them to fix and when I dropped it off , the older gentleman on the left lift he didn't seem in the best mood and sorta just hung my keys up and kept working I told him I parked it on side street and left. I had to call them 3.5 hours later saying what's the deal and . They told me ohh yeah it's been done you can get it whenever. (Again didn't call me) Picked my car up didn't even close the door from my mom dropping me off and Chris the owner I believe told me yeah check it out we looked at it is seems fine we drove it around .
