Thank you to Dylan for a highly professional and honest experience at Mr Tech Bench. I brought in my laptop to assess a recurring issue involving Adobe video editing software. Dylan evaluated the issue by replicate it and also examining the device's internal components to determine the likely source of the problem. He was thoroughly transparent about the cost of each stage of examination and repairs, and this particular issue ultimately did not require payment for the evaluation stage. He reviewed replacement components, detailing their advantages and explaining their prices in a manner that satisfies my curiosity and educated me about an unfamiliar topic. Perhaps the best aspect of my visit was Dylan's straightforwardness. He knew a replacement component was not guaranteed to solve the primary issue, and he knew the unchangeable limitations of the device would likely require an upgrade to a newer and more powerful laptop. Rather than trying to sell me on a replacement part and repair that he easily could have guided me into buying, he went the truthful route and instead took the time to walk me through some of his recommendations in the event I decide to upgrade. I called Mr. Tech Bench in regards to a PC I was building. It turned out my motherboard was missing 2 very tiny screws for mounting SSDs. William helped me over the phone and within seconds he already knew the issue I was dealing with. He took my name and phone number down and went into their room to search for the screws I needed. He called back shortly with good news. I showed up to the store about 10 minutes later, acquired the screws, conversed with him a little and discussed some of the products in my PC build. I was having trouble getting my iPhone to charge...i read about fixes on the internet but nothing worked. I remembered hearing the radio ads so I figured before I pay for a new phone let me see if Mr. Tech Bench could fix it. Fortunately he was open for business at this time (Covid). Within 10 minutes he was able to fix it. He could've easily charged me for just looking at it never the less for the repair. Luckily for me Mr Tech Bench is one of the "good ones" out there...he didn't charge me anything because the repair was simple n quick for him. Walked into this shop not knowing what to expect. Greeted by a tech named Chris. Professional, courteous and obliging to say the least. Had my phone screen repair done quicker than I was quoted. He also noticed damage to my camera lens, which I will need for the upcoming holiday. Although the part was not on hand, a call to me was assured by a handshake. We were there yesterday with my sons old laptop that he had punched. We took it there to get it repaired. They took the time to take it apart and make sure there was nothing anyone could do to repair it. We were there for awhile and not charged a dime. They did give us instructions on someone who could repair the machine. If we decided to go that route. Have bought many computers there and they were always able to repair. This place is amazing! I went in there because my home button on my iPhone 8 plus was making a crunchy sound every time I pressed it. I called in advance and William told me that he could fix it. Went there today because my IMAC wireless keypad was not being recognized. He double checked the batteries and even tried new fresh batteries. Unfortunately it didn't work. Although he none in stock, he suggested using a USB keyboard. He gave me one and it works fine. This was my first visit to the store and won't be my last. I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S4 and when i went to check my messages the display would not work. I called Mr. Tech Bench, and within 10 seconds I was told I had a broken LCD. So, I came in the next day and dropped my phone off. They told me they would call me in 3 hours, and I could pick my phone up. In about 40 mins, I got a call that my phone was ready to be picked up. Guys were great! Gave me a quote this morning to fix my sons iPad charging port and when I went back this evening they tried to fix it without having to order the part and cost me over $100. Went yesterday to get a C-Type charge port fixed in my Brydge Keyboard. I use the Brydge Keyboard with my Surface Pro. Mr. Tech Bench fixed it with some hot glue.
