I had broken my screen on or about March 7th, and made a few calls to try and get it repaired. Everyone wanted me to drop my phone off for a few days and wanted over $200. When I called Kevin at Red Hot, he wasn't sure if he had a replacement in stock and would call me back. He called me back within 15 minutes and said he has one in stock, but the color was not the same. I really needed my phone, so I didn't care about the color. He also explained that I could not get OEM because my phone is so old. No one else told me that. He told me to come down and within 30 minutes he was done. I was so happy, iI went home and put on a new scree protector. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed that I wasn't able to type "e or 3". I downloaded a screen tester and found a dead spot. I called Kevin immediately and he said he woul order another screen. It came on a week later and he changed it within about 3 hours, he was extremely busy that day. The next day I noticed that ghe volume up button was not working, another defective part. What are the chances? Within minutes he took some part of the defective screen piece and put it on the new one. Now it's working great! read more

I got my screen repaired quickly and professionally while i waited in the car ( due to the Covid restrictions) not even 25 minutes to fix. Once fixed he brought the phone to me in my car, great SERVICE. I was even given a screen saver and the phone charging port cleaned. It looked like a brand new phone. My iPhone 5s is in great condition, I even still have the box, so I was very upset when I dropped it and cracked the screen. I looked up some repair places and found these guys on yelp, they had good reviews and were local so I went over. First the place is clean and neat with couches, coffee and even toys for the kids if you want to wait for your phone. The guy who served us was polite and efficient going through a written checklist of functions to make sure it was only a cracked screen. He gave us an estimate on the cost of the repair and said it would take 10-15 minutes if we wanted to wait or we could run some errands and come back. We left and came back later to pick up the phone and were told it was not a cracked touch screen but a protective screen I had put over it when I got the phone (and forgot about). Just got my screen replaced on tablet here. I've always passed this place and happened to crack my screen on my tablet recently, so I thought why not see if they could fix it. I was told it would be about $75 and would take about 5 days for the part to come in. Way better then the $150 staples wanted to charge, literally half that. I got a call yesterday saying it was done, 2 days earlier than expected. Good as new and the service was great. $150 for an iPhone6 screen repair. Only to have the glass shatter in 2 weeks with a case and bumper on it. Called up to complain and the manager who answered the phone was no help at all. The glass was easily scratched throughout those two weeks as well. Most definitely not iPhone quality glass. read more

I called two other local repair shops to get an estimate about my camera glass for the IPhone X being repaired. One shop said $65 and they have to order the part. The other shop said $70 and they have to order the part. I stumbled across Red Hot Repairs and called to get an estimate. He said best he can do is $34.99 AND he had the part! That's what I'm talking bout. He fixed it in approx 15 min. Asked me to test the camera along the way. Customer service is there and the prices are definitely the most reasonable you'll find. Camera is as good as new! Also, paid with cash and he said $30 flat was okay which is definitely appreciated but far from necessary. I have to say I originally wanted to go to Apple to repair my cracked screen. But it looked like it was going to take a few days. I found Red Hot repairs here on Yelp and stopped in. They were extremely friendly and wanted to help. They told me my phone would be ready in 20 minutes. I left and came back and it was ready. Works as good as new. They also upgraded the glass as well. I have used this business three times so far, and each time I have been very satisfied with their service. The first two times I brought in two different iphones, each with a cracked screen. Both times the repair was done very quickly. The first time I paid a groupon rate and the second time was $ 90. The third time was my husband's iphone. He was Having all kinds of connection problems. They are nice and friendly in here, but the quality of their screens is absolute garbage. Within 30 days, the cheap screen they installed on our iPhone was popping out of the phone, we couldn't get down there to have it looked at quick as I don't live in the area Within 40 days, our iPhone fell to the floor from about an inch higher and it is completely done. Rip-off. I've had iPhones since the very first one. Even with the inevitable accidental drop, I've never had a screen break. Finally, it happened. I dropped it and it broke. I took it here because it is close, and Apple didn't have appointments available for weeks. They charge about $25 more than Apple. They replaced it in 20 minutes. Within a week the glass was broken, without a drop. It breaks from any pressure on the glass, even in your pocket. Unlike iPhone original glass which is tough like a car windshield, you can see this is just lightweight, non-reinforced counterfeit, cheap glass. I brought it to Apple to have it repaired with original factory quality Apple glass. Apple informed me that once you let a third party install fake glass on one of their phones, it not only voids your warranty, Apple will not replace the glass or do any repairs on that phone for the rest of its life. So I brought it back in to Red Hot with three separate cracks after only two weeks after they put in their cheap glass. They said they don't guarantee or stand by their products. They'd just give me $15 off and charge $135. I'm not going to do that. Now I'm stuck with a cracked screen until I can buy a new phone because I'm not paying them $135 for a cheap replacement screen. I would never recommend this place. read more
