I came here based on the reviews, glad I did. My iPad was not charging at all, so I assumed it was time to have the battery replaced. The shop owner told me that he wanted to try charging it for an hour before doing anything unnecessary to my iPad; such as opening it apart. I later received a phone call that my iPad was just fine, it was just an issue with the charger. I was not charged for the diagnostics but I decided to buy the charger and an iPad cover from him, just because he was so kind and honest with me. We need more repair shops like this. Unfortunately most places will just fix things that don't need repair and charge you for it. read more

They tried to fix phone. But the worker cracked the phone. Did not fix. The first guy said 45 dollars to fix the side controls. read more

One of my lenses were cracked (Samsung)- it did not affect image quality but it bothered me so I had to get it fixed. I would avoid going to the mall kiosks as they charge whatever they want, tells you it will take x minutes to fix even when it shouldn't take that long and uses off-brand replacement parts. I did a Google search & decided to give this place a call- Vijay ordered the Samsung lens for me and 2 days later, I drove 30 mins. here & got it fixed for a very reasonable price. He was a cool guy- always responsive, friendly and it took him less than 15 minutes to replace the lens. Highly recommend I Fix for all your tech repair needs *call first*. They also sell phones, prepaid plans & accessories. read more

Honestly I can't say I've received any better treatment. I got my phone screen fixed for a great price and ended up having some problems, but as soon as I went to the store and told the clerk about the issues I'm having, he immediately without any further questions in for me that I can either replace my old screen and put it back and he would give me a full refund, or he would change the screen that he just put for free and make sure that I don't leave the store until I was satisfied with my product. And he also was nice enough to put me a screen protector to accommodate for any inconvenience that may have been caused. He was also very nice and humble man and pleasant to speak to. I highly recommend a fix for any phone related issues one may have because the service was very commendable read more

They fixed my phone screen in less than twenty minutes. I had no picture whatsoever before. The price was fair.

I completely agree with the other 5 star reviews. Fantastic service! This shop is in a small building opposite the main entrance to the Hicksville train station. Think there is a Dunkin Donuts shop next to it. When awaiting for the train, I decided to check about my cracked iphone screen that I was originally planning to fix at some of the reputed shops in Manhattan. I am thrilled that I did. Owner was a very engaging and nice person called Vijay. When I inquired how long it might take to fix, Vijay said 10 minutes and quoted $70. Think he got it done within 8 minutes and as a bonus, he added a scratch resistance screen. He made sure that I was able to use the phone without any issue before sending me off. Phone screen looks flawless and functions perfect. Very impressed. I am glad on reading the other reviews that the service at this shop is not just for cracked screens but for other services too. Wish he moves to NJ! read more

The screen from my son's iphone 5c was cracked and completely off the base of the phone. Unfortunately the phone was not repaired and ready at the time given, which caused an inconvenience for me. However, the owner had the phone personally delivered to me. Later that evening the owner called me to inquire about the phone and to make sure everything was in working order. The phone looked brand new and all functions were working fine. The price for the repair was very reasonable, less than quotes I recieved elsewhere. On a side note...The sign in the window indicates the store opens at 9:00am but they really open at 10:00am. read more

I have used this Staples for office supplies as well as other items they sell related to clerical needs. Over those many years good managers come and go. resulting in a change in the quality of service. Their products remain steady and reliable...most of the time. So now I writing about a return issue I had today. Quite a while ago I purchased a telephone headset for my in home land line. I called my local Staples and the manager named Scott Rose answered my call. I explained that the headset I purchased sometime in the past was broken and at time of purchase I also purchases a warranty for it. Scott asked if I had a receipt...No He asked if I knew when I made the purchase...No So he looked it up on his computer and found the purchase and told me my 2 year warranty was still in effect.. It took me 10 minutes to get to the store and when I walked in and explained my reason for being there a woman working the front desk took a new headset from behind the counter. Scott came over did some work on his computer and asked if I wanted another warranty...Yes please. This time I took a 3 year warranty. Scott could not have made that exchange any easier. As Scott was doing what needed to be done I noticed there was a lot more traffic in the store, more products being delivered, more customers checking out. I do believe this manager just may be a keeper. Thank you Scott.. read more

I love this shop the owner is professional amazing at what he does switch my screen and a got a new case with it . The screen is apple quality and the case has been flawless. Most importantly he is very honest person , he once could have given me a phone pay as you go plan and made some money from it but instead told me not to change my old pay as you go because it was better pricing , he chose honesty over making money . Amazing !!!! read more

My son's iPhone 7 wouldn't charge past 15%. We tried multiple wires and adapters. We took the phone to Verizon who stated it would cost $120 to repair (the contract is up September 2018). The Verizon salesmen said "why don't you go to my friend Vijay first? He will tell you if you need a new port. He's honest, he won't sell you something you don't need". We went to Vijay. He said it's not the port, it's the wire. To which I responded, "we tried 3 different wires at home and none of them fix problem. Must be the port." Vijay asked that we bring in the phone the next day so he could do a diagnostic on it. He called me stating he was he was able to charge the phone to 100% and sold us an updated aftermarket lightening charger. Problem solved. My son said the phone charges perfectly now. We were charged only $38. Vijay saved us $82.00. I highly recommend IFix. Vijay is a honest, friendly, & professional business man. We will absolutely return to him for our tech repair needs. He also sells cases & other accessories. A+++++ read more

Awesome service, great price. Phone screen was fixed within a half hour. Great service. Will use again!

Excellent fix-it phone shop. Very nice shop owner. Honest. Great work with a loyal customer following. He charged me $25 to put in battery I supplied for my phone. While replacing the battery he damaged a piece, ordered a replacement part and installed it while I waited. Not many shops would do that. I am going to refer all my friends and family to him. Great prices, great work. Lifetime customer. read more

Outstanding service. I bought my Mini Ipad Retina here since I had accidentally dropped the unit and broke the screen. It was repaired for $99, but had a ding or two on the display. They replaced it again at no extra charge, and returned it to me in flawless condition. They offered to give me a case for the trouble, but I declined since they had a great "customer is always right" demeanor. Fast service, great prices, great customer service. Highly recommended!! read more
