My go to spot for seoulleongtang. My first time was back in 2022, and they have been consistently good ever since. I love their kimchi and the dipping sauce that they offer with the food. Service is always so friendly and attentive. My boyfriend tried their cold noodles and absolutely loved them! Their galbi-jjim is also so good!

Food is good. But they only give you 4 lettuce pieces with $40 bossam order. When you ask for more, they give you 4 more pieces for $4!!! Wtf!? Ridiculous. Taking off 2 stars for this.

Stopped here for a late lunch with my daughter on our way to H-mart. She had Rose Tteok Bokki and I had Samgye Tang. Hers was very tasty, but mine was really quite bland. I was very disappointed. The service was very good, even though it was late in the afternoon. The restaurant is very nice inside, and other tables were filled off and on while we were there even though it was the middle of the afternoon on a Monday. I would give it another try since my daughter's dish was so good and the service was so friendly.

Best galbi gim in the area. A little pricy but worth it and will also have leftovers as the pot is huge. My kids loved it ! The manager was sweet to give my kids some extra dessert.

Came here cause of the good reviews on Google but the Korean soup was not good. The galbi tang tasted like someone put too many scoops of beef bullion and the yukdaejang was the opposite and lacked flavor. The beef in the yukdaejang was super dry. But I give 2 stars cause the service was good and the beef in the galbi tang was acceptable.

Officially my new favorite place to get seolleong tang. Came here on a Saturday at 1:45 pm ish and it wasn't super busy but still had a decent amount of customers. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the front desk lady who gave me the option to choose my own seats (that's always nice). The menu was already laid out nicely on the table so you get right to it. There was Korean music playing that was at just the right volume. I love love loveee seolleongtang so of course I naturally chose that as my dish. It's also the reason why I decided to come to Mr. Tang in the first place so I gotta follow through. Water is self served with small paper cups already provided at the table. Wooden chopsticks, metal spoons, salt, pepper, and chopped green onion is also provided at the table for you to adjust your soup to your liking. The price for the dish was $15.95 (the usual pricing) so imagine my surprise when the bowl they brought out was literally bigger than the size of my hand. Granted my hands are small but this was literally the biggest bowl of seolleongtang I've ever seen or eaten. I devoured it but alas I couldn't finish all the meat. They're super generous with their meat. You usually see maybe like 8 thin slices but this bowl probably had like 20+ decently sized meat slices. I liked the fact that there wasn't an abundance of banchan (Korean side dishes). They had a plate of various pickled vegetables that you cut up yourself with the scissors they provide you. And also a small dish of pickled jalapeños. I didn't try it with my food but I'm sure it tastes good with it. Once you're done eating, you pay at the front or have the check brought over to you. The total with tax and tip waOverall great first experience here and am definitely coming back to try the other dishes!

Coming back a second time! The beef rib pot was always delicious and fulfilling. Tender meat served in a hot stone pot mixed with potato and peppers, and some soft but cheery rice cakes. Extremely flavorful- its savory and sweet. I tried the non-spicy version the first time and spicy one the second - both were great so just go for your preference/group preferences. There's also an option to have melted cheese on top My second favorite from this place was the #9 beef soup with noodles. It has a strong umami flavor and I drank every last sip of the soup Other dishes we ordered were so so: the chive pancake was not flavorful and of too much flour (just felt like eating a dough); ox tail soup was too little in portion and barely fulfilling This might be the only place that offers the signature galbi Jjim pot in Denver but I still hope that the price of this single item was lower than it is

Their kimchi and service has improved back up. Cold noodles are pretty good both spicy and cold buckwheat noodle with beef broth. Small restaurant with some self-serving condiments on table.

I was craving a heart soup for breakfast, and that's exactly what I found at Mr. Tang. Located in Aurora, aka the Korea town of Denver, you'll find so many good Korean restaurants. But Mr. Tang specializes in beef soups and braised beef dishes. I opted for the kkori gomtang which is oxtail soup. Served with a soy dipping sauce with spicy mustard, cabbage, kimchi and radish kimchi. Such a delicious flavor and the meat was nice and tender. It's a heart warming dish and certainly worth the price tag. If you're craving pure comfort, check it out!

Yay! An authentic Sulleongtang spot ~ I'm always looking for good Korean food and this one met my LA standards. 1. Sulleongtang - delicious. You self season with salt and green onion (table condiments in black bowls). Would be perfect for a cold day. 2. Galbi tang and go-ri tang (tail) - broth was light/clean, which I liked, it can be fatty/greasy at other restaurants. 3. Kimchi jeon- different texture than I was expecting, this was a little spongy/airy but taste was still fine. I personally like mine a little crispy on outside and chewy on inside.

I had the cold noodles and kimchee pancake. Great option on a hot summer day. My first time dining here. Nice and friendly service. Korean beers and shoju served. A lot of windows in the front. It can be bright just before sunset. Flavors and presentation was good.

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

We arrived for an early dinner, and, by the time we left, the place was quite busy. My husband and I both tried the same soup, the spicy beef soup with flank, vegetables and glass noodles. This is a great soup, loaded with beef and glass noodles, and served with a side of rice as well as kimchi and pickled spicy radish. Service was helpful and friendly, and the space, while simple, is clean and inviting. I'll most definitely be back.

However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the warmth of the owner! We walked in Thursday night at 11pm. It was one of the only Asian restaurants in the area still open after our flight landed. As expected, the customers were sparse save for 2-3 tables of diners. The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.

We waited probably about 15 mins to get seated and then it took about another 20 to order and get our food. We got a beef tofu stew (not picture) $17 and a beef hot stone bibimbap $19. We each got our own side dish with 4 side dishes. There was cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and a soy braised potato with fish cakes. I love a good hot stone bibimbap because of the crispy rice and this was CRISPY. I loved it. The side dishes were the perfect compliment to the dishes too. I will say my only complaint is the beef wasn't as flavorful as some other places but with how much food they're cranking out with only 2 people, they're doing a pretty great job. Despite all the people coming in and the people eating, the lady in the front was still happy and let people know there would be at least a 30 min wait to get seated. Overall, I would probably go here again if I was in the area and wanted a got stone bibimbap and didn't mind a wait but its definitely not a place to go if you're starving due to the potentially long waits.

Specifically the kimchi pancake, which was crispy and so savory! It's one of the best I've ever had! Their skewers were marinated in a delicous salty sauce and the little mechanism at the table that rotates and grills them for you is genius. Having fresh grilled skewers tableside is next level. Koreans really know how to enjoy eating their food! We also got the wings, which were good but not the best on Havana street, but there is stiff competition there. The mussel soup though was a surprise. The mussels tasted clean and fresh and the broth was light with a spicy kick and super refreshing. Gonna come back just for that when it gets cold! Overall the service was decent. They were nice enough to my crazy crew. The ambience is really fun and chill and would be a great late night hangout or hangover destination. After I was sad I noticed they had a iPad so I can look through their menu options, the only thing was the iPad didn't provide me with any descriptions of what the menu options entailed. There was no one around to ask, everyone was in the back so after sitting around for awhile, I deleted the items I was unsure of and stuck with what I was sure I wanted. The steamed egg was cooked amazing and the kimchi pancake was almost perfect. The taste was great but the center was a little softer than I liked. The edges were perfect. I finished my food and waited yet again for my server only to be told I had to come to the front counter to checkout. The guy was friendly I just wish they had these instructions written down so people would know. Since this was my first time I was a lost lamb. I will say however, it was happy hour so I got 10% off everything I ordered so that was nice. I can't say for sure if I'd come back. The food was okay the service definitely lacked, while they were nice they were MIA quite a bit.
