Where do I start... we ordered delivery today for a couple of people (3) in the office. Two of us had the Fat Buffalo and one person had the Angry Bird. I'm always excited to try knew places when I travel. Food: Each sandwich had a modification and they didn't skip a beat. I had the Fat Buffalo with Ranch instead of Blue Cheese on Whole Wheat, jalapeño poppers, cheddar and French fries, add lettuce and tomato. It was super delicious. I also had a side of macaroni salad. Not too bad; think it was missing Vinegar. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. Price: The sandwich was roughly $8. Not bad at all since it's your meals and side in one. For those who like to enjoy their fries on the side, don't worry they have you covered. Pro: Ordering delivery takes no time. The food arrived quickly. Con: Not sure if the delivery guy was sick but he was standing in our lobby with the food in his hand, coughing up a storm attempting to cover his mouth. This sub shop is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get a lot of meat, depending on the person who is working or sometimes they are stingy and dont put enough. One time I asked for honey Turkey and got the smoked instead. The first time we came in we had coupons from the great clips next door that they had just given us and the guy at the counter refused to let us use them saying "we dont take those anymore" but he gave us a handful of stale fries to compensate for it. I dont think I'd go out of my way to spend money here, however if my husband is getting a haircut next door and I'm hungry, I might consider it. read more

I bought a groupon for 5 subs. If I had not bought the groupon i would have been done after the first sub. I think the owner or manager made the first and fourth sub. The second and third subs were made by other people. I must say they use high quality meats. When the owner/manager made it there was close to no meat at all. I had the super sub. I think it had 1 slice of each meat. Honestly, i think i had more meat on my sub at subway. The other two subs i got there was much better. My guess is it was made by a normal employee that doesnt care how much meat is on the the sub. The bread is very good but will get mushy really fast. If you like oil and vinegar and are not eating it within minutes i would recommend you get it on the side. read more

I purchased a Groupon for this location. I was told I could only use the Groupon on the cold subs, but they've allowed me to get a hot sub. I have only tried the cheesesteak, which is very good. My reason for not giving 5/5 stars is because they advertised a Groupon offer that is untrue. I have been there 3 times so far (the Groupon is for 5 vouchers) and my impression has always been that they were trying to offer me the cheapest sub on the menu although the Groupon is for ANY 8-inch sub. The Groupon offer is advertised as $20 for five 8-inch subs, with an original price of $40 (50%). This would mean an $8 value per sub, yet I was not allowed to get any of the specialty subs that range from $7-$8. I really like the cheesesteak sub ($6.49) but I feel like they did not offer me the Groupon they advertised and that my options went from "an 8 inch sub" to "a cold sub." It's not a big deal but just not a great first impression. Only reason I'll return is for the cheesesteak hot sub. read more

Mr. Subs is a great place for a quick lunch or even sandwiches/catering for a party. The meats are boars head and the rolls are a perfect texture, not too soft not too hard. I've ordered their $35 sandwich platter twice, both times Rich has done a great job. Everyone has enjoyed the sandwiches and the platter was a good amount, served ten people. Besides the boars head meat the tuna fish sub is good as well. For some added spice they have a nice pepper spread for the sandwich. I hadn't had time to stop in and try Mr.Subs until today. I drove there specificity because of the Boar's Head sigh in the window. Nowadays most sub shops use substandard cold cuts, so I was hoping this place wouldn't disappoint. It DIDN'T! Not only were the subs delish, (just like I remember them being at Mr Sub in Union in my childhood) but the service was fantastic! Quick, courteous and with a smile. First and foremost the food is delicious however I have experienced customer service related issues with said staff. I left our specific info to keep this short. When I walked up to the counter the past 2 times not one employee acknowledged me. I also work in customer service and there are better ways to conduct proper customer transactions. The employee messed up my order and charged me for another order that wasn't mine. When I voiced my disappointment I simply said that it's okay I will take the order as is but in the future you should provide the customer with the item they ordered and if you think you misheard them it's okay to check. The employee said that if I'm complaining and I'm still taking the order she doesn't know what she wants me to do. I felt that was inappropriate because that wasn't the point of my annoyance. The employees need to clearly listen to the customers and label the subs correctly and double check all the orders. This could have been avoided but all in all I feel as though the employees need more training with respects to customer service. read more

Went in yesterday for the first time. Clean, super friendly staff and great, fresh, made to order, salad. Liked it so much, I went back today. It was like they knew me forever. Awesome people!
