Tip: Mr Sub is on Uber Eats. It currently has a number of BOGO deals on large subs.
I got word from an Uber Eats inbox message that a number of Mr Sub locations were offering BOGO deals on large subs. Perfect!
It was a tough decision between getting either the assorted or meatball. I went with my first love, which is the assorted. It was the first sub that I ever had from Mr Sub and I still love it!
After shopping at Winners within the same plaza, I placed this order through my Uber Eats app for pickup:
- Assorted subs (BOGO)
- Brownie
The app let me know that it would take fifteen minutes to prepare my order. It was perfect, as it allowed me to upload a bunch of photos to Yelp as I waited.
I found a parking spot within walking distance from this eatery. I backed into the spot and did my photo uploads as I waited.
My order was ready much sooner than the estimated time. I got out of my car and walked into the eatery.
There are seats and tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. It was a warm day and there was a picnic table outside to get some vitamin C while you savour your food.
I was greeted by a nice man. I said that I had an Uber Eats order and rattled off my name. He nodded and said that it was ready. I headed over to the pickup area at the back of the eatery and he handed my order over in a paper bag. I thanked him and happily headed to my car to drive home. I couldn't wait to chow down.
I had one large (foot-long) assorted sub for dinner and the other the following day for lunch. My sub had lettuce, tomato, green peppers, cucumbers, white sub cheese, Mr Sub sauce, and assorted deli meats (salami, ham, and luncheon), all on mozza-cheddar bread.
My assorted sub was so good. The deli meats were generous. The veggies were fresh. I loved the cheese with the sub sauce. The bread was soft and the melted cheeses on top added a bit of saltiness. This sub was delicious and exceptionally filling. I should get a bottle of Mr Sub '68 sub sauce. It's the best!
The following day, I had the other sub. It was equally as delicious, although I forgot that tomato slices will make parts of the bread soggy. Luckily, I only dealt with a small soggy patch of bread.
The brownie was fudgy. I forgot how good it is. It had chocolate chips in a fudgy, perfectly dense brownie. I should get brownies from this place more often.
It was great getting my sub fix here. I hope that I can take advantage of another BOGO sub offer before it's over. Hopefully, I can squeeze in a meatball one and grab another brownie.
