We came here craving something sweet after a carb filled dinner, and knew that the best way to end the evening would be with... You guessed it , more carbs. Hey, it's cheat day. If not the garish orange sign promising joy, then the heady sweet smell is bound to get you enticed the moment you open that door. Mr puffs is my favourite type of dessert establishment. Simple and so good. They specialise in lokmas/ loukomades - a fried ball (kind of like a donut) and coated in sugar. However they've added an amazing spin on the traditional Turkish / Greek balls of happiness because obviously, they weren't sweet enough. Now you can choose what sort of topping you want on it, and they have TONS. Cookies and cream, dulce de leche, Apple and cinnamon... There's something for everyone. Theres even ice cream if you weren't happy with the amount of cavities you'll get after, and rich hot chocolates/ Greek coffees. The only downside is that their chocolate sauce has hazelnut in it, which meant I couldn't get the chocolatey puffs, but there's so much options that I didn't really linger on that. We initially got a 12 pack, but our server made a mistake with the flavour and gave them to us for free as well as the extras. Yes. We did eat all 18. Yes. There was only two of us. Did I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again? .... Yes, definitely. Mr puffs is SO good that you'll be tempted to just have a box to yourself. Light and so tasty, you'll be craving it over and over! read more

Love ordering Mr. Puff's for a late night snack. The puffs are a bit bread-like in flavouring. Imagine a light, chewy fried dough ball that has sugary toppings but a hint of salt inside. Really good and comforting. We don't really like all the icing and syrups, so typically we stick with cinnamon sugar. It's really a classic and you just can't go wrong. We've always gotten a fresh box of puffs, so they're still warm and comfy. read more

I'm so glad I found Mr Puffs. It's always a nice treat after a nice, heavy dinner! I went to this location a few weeks ago. The interior was larger than some of the other locations I had visited before. The staff was also very kind. I ended up getting a pack of 12 to share with my wife. 6 were the cookies and cream one, and the other were the creamy caramel. The server accidentally made 6 of the strawberry flavour. After we noticed, we kindly mentioned the mistake to her, and she apologized and made us the correct order. She also allowed us to keep the 6 strawberry puffs, so we had 18 in total. I've had Mr puffs a few times but I like this location the most. It'll always be my go-to desert place when I'm in the area! read more

I came here for a little sweet treat after dinner nearby and it turned out to be a great choice! Since there were two of us, we decided to go with the 12pc with 2 flavours. We chose the Cookies & Cream and the Choco-Loco flavours. Both were really tasty, but I was a little sad to see that there wasn't very much drizzle on them, especially the Cookies & Cream one. Fast food type layout. Go to to counter and order your puffs. Great option to the normal donuts and timbits. These puffs are like timbits on steroids. They make them fresh to order. Exterior is nice and crispy with a spongy airy moist interior. If you've ever tried fresh zeppoles right out of the oil fryer in NYCs Little Italy San Gennaro festival, then you know the dough texture and feel in your mouth on the first bite. Yum yum yum. These puffs are yummy. We tried the creamy caramel, maple, bueno & salted caramel flavours. You can get two flavours per box. Besides puff there's drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes,water, juice), sundaes, ice cream & tornadoes. When we arrived it was pretty busy. But it soon cleared out as most people just pick up & leave. There are some tables here if you want to sit & eat. One of the tables wasn't so clean so that's why I'm not giving 5 stars. The washroom was clean at least. We got our puffs pretty quickly & ate them real quick too! We got a box to take home so our family can try it. Ever since I've had my first lokma thanks to the yelp elite event I have gotten so addicted to these. Regardless of what occasion I'm at I always try to bring a box for those who have not tried these addictive, crispy and chewy lokmas. Needlessly to say, people get addicted thanks to me lol. Came here stuffed after dinner, but that didn't stop our curiosity. The cashier was super friendly and explained how it works to us. We took them home (45min drive) because we were just not hungry at the time. We came home and they were still kind of warm, which was amazing! Saw this in passing one day and because it was desserts and I had no idea what it was, I had to stop by. We got a milkshake and 6 puffs combo. The coffee crunch shake was very delicious and very creamy. We got the puffs with chocolate hazelnut sauce on the side (so no pics), but it was a nice treat. 6 puffs is plenty for a couple to share IMO. If I had to describe puffs dessert to someone, I would describe it as funnel cakes (deep fried dough, served with sauces and optional soft serve ice cream) but easier to share or get a smaller portion for just one person. This location also serves fancy hot chocolates and mochas. Overall, 4 stars for now, but I plan to come back to confirm my rating. read more

This dessert shop's Chocolate and cookie tornado is excellent. Although it is quite sweet, overall it tastes really good. On the other hand, the almond tornado is not as enjoyable, so I don't really recommend it. Their Puff is more delicious than Tim Horton's by more than ten times, but it is also on the sweeter side. DELICIOUS AND ADDICTIVE. You seriously cant have just one. I have been here a lot since I discovered them. And I have ontroduced them to everyone I know. These are so affordable and you get so many. Great product for what you are paying. Opening the box of puffs itself is a treat. Service is always quick and efficient. I have ordered online and in person, have always walked away happy. This store is pretty small and has limited seating and at times will have a line up but definitely worth it. read more

Super yummy dessert spot, have been once before at their Mississauga location and now coming back for more at this North York location. A great dessert snack to bring and share with friends and family, I decided to get the 30 pack for &17.95 which in my opinion, is a pretty good deal. The flavours I got were bueno and cookies and cream, both so tasty and addictive. These are best eaten when still warm and fresh but honestly still good to eat after. Loukoumades are donuts that date back 2800 years ago to Ancient Greece. They were served to Olympians and referred to as honey tokens because of the traditional honey and cinnamon toppings. Fast forward to 2004 when Mr Puffs opened in Montréal serving these delicious treats. Today, there are many locations in Quebec, Ontario, the United States and Greece. Mr Puffs loukoumades are made to order and have expanded from the traditional toppings to offer hazelnut chocolate, strawberry glaze and Greek honey and more. They also have soft serve which can be dipped in toppings, or served with loukoumades. In addition to that, they also serve coffee, tea, iced drinks, milkshakes and what they call "Twisters" or "Tornados". The shop is bright, clean and menu easy to navigate. It was very busy when we visited on a Friday night. We stuck to the traditional Greek version of honey and cinnamon and were not disappointed. They offer several quantities you can order in, but I got the 12 pack so that I could try 2 flavors (anything less you can only get one flavor ) - it came out super fast and was piping hot, and the flavors were sooo good! The puffs had a similar texture to mochi while still being light and airy like a classic American donut - I will say that some of the puffs were on the crunchier side which made it more difficult to eat, but the sauces softened them a bit and were super delicious read more

So happy there is now a location in North York. This location is clean and the staff are friendly. The puffs are good here, but they're more oily than other locations. Our go to order is the 30 puffs with chocolate hazelnut and maple cream topping. If you have more people to feed, I would suggest the box of 50 puffs so you can try 3 toppings. We've also tried the Mount Olympus which is puffs served with soft serve and it's a great choice if you'll be eating it immediately. read more

The only reason for the 4 star review is that the ambiance is lacking and far more of a takeout place than a sit down, with plastic cutlery being used for dine-in. You put your order in through a QR code so don't have much to say about service but the food and drinks did come out quickly. That being said, I'd definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

The only downside was the price--I paid about $9 for a large with three shots, which felt a bit steep. Still, it was a very satisfying cup of java. I also appreciated the fact that it is doggo friendly as it has a jar of treats for your pups. I'll bring little morty over sometimes.

Me and my sister got the mango matcha latte and the peach matcha latte and we absolutely loved it. My sister's a matcha aficionado and she loved their matcha latte. I would say that the matcha is quite expensive but I could tell that it is high quality which makes up for it. I spent about $24 for 2 of the large sized matcha lattes. Their drinks were quite good and so if I'm ever around the area I'd come back to try more of their drinks! The server was also quite nice.

Uncle Tetsu does seasonal items from time to time. It's great how you can also peek inside the windows facing Yonge St. so that you are able to see what they are currently offering. The bakery is take out only where it is small. I've been to this particular location of Uncle Tetsu to purchase their tarts and cheesecake several times. Service is always attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Their original cheesecake is great along with their original cheese tart, matcha cheese tart, and more recently their hojicha cheese tart. The space is small but it is not difficult to decide what to order as there are only a limited amount of items on the menu. Overall, a great place to pick up a small snack or dessert to enjoy at home. Definitely will be returning to pick up more desserts in the future!

Prices were reasonable for brunch in the area. The service was fast and efficient, and with a smile. There were a lot of customers that day, and we felt the indoor noise level was a bit loud to have a comfortable conversation. Still... We'd love to come back and try more of the menu.
