Tried Mr.Puffs for the first time and got a freebie as it was my birthday. Pretty tasty but very sweet. Would go back once in a while.

The dubai chocolate puffs were alright. Bueno is better though. Bueno chocolate is great. Service was okay. Annoying that the eating area was closed at 11pm. But their open till 1am so eating in the car had to do. Seating area is okay.

I bought 2x6 to share with my hubby. We each took one bite and threw them all out. A fat bomb covered in lots of sugary syrup. Not for us ... Not worth the calories. Even the smell was pure oil. Not appealing to us at all. Place was busy, people lining up for their grease laden sugar drenched calorie bomb. Nope.

We came here craving something sweet after a carb filled dinner, and knew that the best way to end the evening would be with... You guessed it , more carbs. Hey, it's cheat day. If not the garish orange sign promising joy, then the heady sweet smell is bound to get you enticed the moment you open that door. Mr puffs is my favourite type of dessert establishment. Simple and so good. They specialise in lokmas/ loukomades - a fried ball (kind of like a donut) and coated in sugar. However they've added an amazing spin on the traditional Turkish / Greek balls of happiness because obviously, they weren't sweet enough. Now you can choose what sort of topping you want on it, and they have TONS. Cookies and cream, dulce de leche, Apple and cinnamon... There's something for everyone. Theres even ice cream if you weren't happy with the amount of cavities you'll get after, and rich hot chocolates/ Greek coffees. The only downside is that their chocolate sauce has hazelnut in it, which meant I couldn't get the chocolatey puffs, but there's so much options that I didn't really linger on that. We initially got a 12 pack, but our server made a mistake with the flavour and gave them to us for free as well as the extras. Yes. We did eat all 18. Yes. There was only two of us. Did I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again? .... Yes, definitely. Mr puffs is SO good that you'll be tempted to just have a box to yourself. Light and so tasty, you'll be craving it over and over!

I came here for a little sweet treat after dinner nearby and it turned out to be a great choice! Since there were two of us, we decided to go with the 12pc with 2 flavours. We chose the Cookies & Cream and the Choco-Loco flavours. Both were really tasty, but I was a little sad to see that there wasn't very much drizzle on them, especially the Cookies & Cream one. I really liked the concept of these puffs, they taste very close to a mochi donut; golden and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall, it was a good first experience, and I think I'll be back to try the other flavours

Fast food type layout. Go to to counter and order your puffs. Great option to the normal donuts and timbits. These puffs are like timbits on steroids. They make them fresh to order. Exterior is nice and crispy with a spongy airy moist interior. If you've ever tried fresh zeppoles right out of the oil fryer in NYCs Little Italy San Gennaro festival, then you know the dough texture and feel in your mouth on the first bite. Good variety of toppings, I like the biscotti & salted caramel topping. Only bought a dozen, dammit, should have bought twice a much Tim Hortons you betta watch out, Mr Puffs is coming for you Try it, you won't be disappointed

Nice store with friendly staff. 30 puffs, Cheesecake with Choco-coco half-&-half @ $17.95. No tax is required. Busy every night after dinner time when people got nothing to do, Fridays & long weekends in particular. :) Recommended dessert place in the neighborhood.

Yum yum yum. These puffs are yummy. We tried the creamy caramel, maple, bueno & salted caramel flavours. You can get two flavours per box. Besides puff there's drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes, water, juice), sundaes, ice cream & tornadoes. When we arrived it was pretty busy. But it soon cleared out as most people just pick up & leave. There are some tables here if you want to sit & eat. One of the tables wasn't so clean so that's why I'm not giving 5 stars. The washroom was clean at least. We got our puffs pretty quickly & ate them real quick too! We got a box to take home so our family can try it. Can't wait to see how much they enjoy the puffs!

Stopped in to grab Mr. Puffs at their location in North York Was a birthday treat for my dad bday It's located in the Longo's plaza on York Mills/Leslie Location is smaller than the one I've been to in Whitby which has more seating, etc. Service was quicker than I had expected Puffs were ready to go I ordered 30 puffs.....Cinnapuffs and creamy caramel puffs Puffs were super yummy as always and my parents definitely liked them This is such a nice dessert and I'd recommend this place when looking to bring a dessert to any family gathering

Ever since I've had my first lokma thanks to the yelp elite event I have gotten so addicted to these. Regardless of what occasion I'm at I always try to bring a box for those who have not tried these addictive, crispy and chewy lokmas. Needlessly to say, people get addicted thanks to me lol. I always get either the hazelnut, strawberry & chocolate, cappuccino, cookies & cream or Dulce de leche. These flavors are a must get cause they are delicious and highly addictive. Especially when they're still warm and fresh.

Came here stuffed after dinner, but that didn't stop our curiosity. The cashier was super friendly and explained how it works to us. We took them home (45min drive) because we were just not hungry at the time. We came home and they were still kind of warm, which was amazing! We are them all in one sitting because they were just too good. Need to get more!!

Saw this in passing one day and because it was desserts and I had no idea what it was, I had to stop by. We got a milkshake and 6 puffs combo. The coffee crunch shake was very delicious and very creamy. We got the puffs with chocolate hazelnut sauce on the side (so no pics), but it was a nice treat. 6 puffs is plenty for a couple to share IMO. If I had to describe puffs dessert to someone, I would describe it as funnel cakes (deep fried dough, served with sauces and optional soft serve ice cream) but easier to share or get a smaller portion for just one person. This location also serves fancy hot chocolates and mochas. Overall, 4 stars for now, but I plan to come back to confirm my rating.

This dessert shop's Chocolate and cookie tornado is excellent. Although it is quite sweet, overall it tastes really good. On the other hand, the almond tornado is not as enjoyable, so I don't really recommend it. Their Puff is more delicious than Tim Horton's by more than ten times, but it is also on the sweeter side. However, it's worth trying, and it is indeed quite good.

As someone who craves bingsu pretty often, I was pretty disappointed by the bingsu here considering…read morethe steeper price. I got the matcha mango bingsu which came out to just over $20 after tax and tip. What was most disappointing was how little of a matcha taste I got from it. The base was a very sweet milky taste, and I really wish they infused the matcha directly into the shave ice itself. The matcha was just drizzled on top with matcha powder, along with some whipped cream which only diluted the matcha taste further. On the other hand, I will say they are generous with the mango topping, which were very fresh and perfectly ripe. They gave one single mochi cube which I feel they should either give more of or none at all. The environment itself is very noisy. Not sure what it is about the walls but they do not absorb sound well at all. Voices echo and bounce off the walls like crazy, it sounds like everyone is yelling and talking over eachother in there. That aside, the space and decor has a cute vibe and the self-serve water/coffee bar is a nice added touch. If I ever come back here, it would either be out of convenience or to try their drinks/a different dessert. Unfortunately the bingsu falls short in my opinion especially for the price tag. The base should resemble more of the flavour rather than rely on toppings.

Coconut Pandan Cheesecake & Black Sesame Tart -- Worth a Try!…read more Just tried Uncle Tetsu's two newest flavors and honestly both were a solid experience! The Coconut Pandan Cheesecake really stood out to me -- the pandan flavor is incredibly dense and rich, and the texture is great. The only thing is, since it's freshly made, it can be a little too moist by the time you get home. My tip: Bake it for a bit and it firms up nicely. Also, huge props on the green packaging -- it's clear they put real thought into matching the box to each flavor. It makes every new release feel special, which I really appreciate as someone who loves having something new to look forward to! The Black Sesame Tart is a must if you're a tart lover -- the tart shell itself is chef's kiss as always. The black sesame filling is super rich and indulgent, though I personally found it a touch too sweet for my taste. Definitely a treat-yourself moment, so go in knowing that! The Karaage was really well done and complimented the croffles. We also got the creme brulee souffle pancakes, which were well done! However, I do wish there was more of a caramelized top for the creme brulee. In hindsight I do wish I got a more interesting flavor like Ube or Pistachio since they have a good selection of flavors, but the creme brulee was still pretty tasty! I'd say order another flavor instead though. The souffle pancakes also take 20min to prepare which took longer than their other dishes, but as long as you're sharing plates and can eat something else until it comes then it's all good! The chicken karaage was kind of dry on its own, but dipping it in the syrup and eating it with the croffle made it better. If you want a hearty breakfast, the classic breakfast is a solid choice.
