They have bits and pieces of pistachios inside and you can tell that it's not one of the fake pistachio flavored ice cream..like you'd find at most places. The crepe was very soft and made perfectly. Zack's Chocolate gives off that vibe as one of these small snack shack places filled with nostalgia. Zack's is owned by an elderly couple that sells chocolate, chocolate covered treats and ice cream. It really feels like an old school toned down version of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. One thing that is very enticing about Zack's is that they offer an array of soft serve ice cream flavours. They offer your typical chocolate, vanilla and more interesting ones like blueberry cheesecake, lemon, etc. My review is solely based on a chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream that I had there. It was really tempting to get some of the different flavours but as they claimed to be a chocolatier I opted for a very conservative chocolate swirl. The verdict? It's a solid soft serve ice cream... at $3. Probably not price competitive with the big boys. I would say it's a teeny tiny bit less creamy than the McDonald's or Costco soft serve. But given the place being a chocolatier but the soft serve not any more chocolatety than other places, it's a bit disappointing. If I'm in the area I would not be opposed to trying some of their chocolate treats but I would not go out of the way to head to Zack's unless you have some nostalgic attachment to this place.

I ended up getting a small bingsu injeolmi flavour, it's dusted with roasted soybean powder and topped with rice cakes and condense milk. It's really tasty and light. I normally eat the bingsu on site as it's much more appealing visually but taking it home is just as good! I even froze some of the leftovers to enjoy the next day and just as good (maybe not the same fluffy texture but still pretty good). Bonus the cup packaging they drew on is super cute.

As the name suggest it is beautifully presented like flower. With peach, grapefruit, fruit puree on a shaved milk ice topped with whipped cream is the best! The ice is so fine in texture and will literally melt in your mouth. The fruit balances the sweetness from the puree and the condense milk, specially the bittersweet grapefruit. Its good to eat it in as it'll melt right away if you have it as to go. Also, we tried their fruit cups (mango) with whipped cream a little sweet to me but its also good. Staff are friendly, not much people when we visited and you'll get your order quickly. Clean space inside. Plenty of parking in the plaza, but weekends get to be busy.
