Just left Mr. P's tire on South KK just wanted to take time to let other people know they have the worst customer service. He said he patched my tire. I can clearly see a plug in it overall experience terrible I would not recommend anybody to go there if they had a rating minus stars he would get a - 10 negative rating. I took my car today to F N F on Rawson today because I had Warranty insurance with my tires or so I thought. My tire had a pretty large nail in it. F N F took a look at it and told me that the nail was too close to the rim and could not be repaired but that I had to purchase a new tire. Being that I had bought Michelin tires it would be a pretty expensive tire which they didn't even have in stock. I really needed my tire to be fixed today so I told them OK. The gentleman then came back and said I'm sorry ma'am you have AWD and all your tires are going to need to be replaced anywhere from seven to $900! I told him he was ridiculous! These tires were barely 4 years old and still had over 50% tread on them. So I called Mr P's Tires. he told me to bring the tire in and he would take a look at it. Sure enough I drove over there. The gentleman looked at my tire in my trunk and said it wasn't even near close to the rim, and that it could be repaired, which they did in a very timely manner. $32 later and they sent me home a very very happy customer. I would've went to them in the first place but I wanted to get my warranty taken care of which I found out. I really don't have a warranty. Long story short, I should've went to Mr. P's in the first place, I could've saved myself a huge headache. But I'm thankful for them that they are very honest and did an excellent job! Super reliable and very trustworthy from now on when my tires do need to be replaced, I will go to them and have them replaced all of them. Tl:dr great, down-to-Earth dudes that want to be honest and help you out. Can't say good enough things about this location. I had a flat they were able to fix with minimal time and money and that made me come back to them months later when I needed to get all four tires replaced. I walked in, explained what I was looking for/needed, the main guy spoke with me about a few different options and he said he'd have to get them from the warehouse. He called me a few hours later and I was able to head right over. The actual process only took around 45 minutes and everything was tested and checked. What he really did that was above and beyond was he had me fill out the rebate form in the office, he copied it, put it in an envelope and put the correct address for the tire manufacture and handed to me saying, "all you need is the stamp and to pop it in the mail - I get too many customers that forget!" Super nice and I will be back again when I need something! read more

I returned to get help due to another tire issue with new tires (another pot hole incident). The manager was rude and brushed me off. Resolution: I called another Mr. P's on KinniKinni Avenue. Ray, the manager, and this location's owner went above and beyond to help me out! I then decided to purchase two more tires for the back. Go to another Mr. P's tire. The person running this store doesn't know very much about anything beyond his app on his phone and will try to lie to get you to spend money. I went there with 4 tires to have them installed. The size was the exact same size as my current tire and I was told they wouldn't work because they were too many ply... then it was a weight issue, and then it became he could put them on my vehicle if I got a lift kit because they're 1.4" larger than stock recommended. When he said that, it exposed his previous lies by saying this would only work on my truck if I had more clearance ... but I thought it was a safety issue? Or if it was a bigger truck... hmmm None of this made any sense until it was suggested I spend $850 on a set of new tires. I left, went to another Mr Ps and had them successfully installed on my truck and love them. Poor service and lacking integrity are not successful business models and maybe the reason the store I went to after this was booming in comparison. read more

If you're a female, make sure to go there with a male! Instead of asking me what size tires I needed, I was asked where my car was, and all he wanted was the size of the tires, which I could have told him! When it was time to pull my car onto the lot I was asked if I wanted someone to pull it in for me! Then, after they were done putting 4 tires on my car, I was told that they didn't have the tires I agreed to, and instead they put some that were a little cheaper on! I was sitting in the waiting room the entire time so there was no reason for someone not to come and ask me if I was okay with getting different tires! I had over 80k miles on bald tires, so help was needed, stat. Called on a Tuesday and the nice fellow said they could have a set of four Hankooks that I knew had a mail in rebate in the shop in an hour. Wow, that's impressive! I said I would be in on Thursday morning and that was that. They had the set of four tires waiting, and went to work on the car outside. The waiting area is nothing fancy, but there's television. I was quoted a wait of 20 minutes and the work probably took less time than that! More amazing service- they had the rebate form printed out for me, then made copies of everything, and put it in an enveloped addressed to the Rebate Center, so all I had to do was put a stamp on it and mail it. He's a know it all Dickhead, constantly speaking over people trying to dictate what type of services I'm even there for. Very rude with lack of how you should treat/ speak to customers. He's not even knowledgeable in the one subject he should be in, Tires. He's more concerned with getting his point across and making sure HES RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG rather than just helping you with what you need. I came in there knowing exactly what and how I need done my tire service, he didn't like that. He laughed at me and proceeded to tell me a bunch of reasons why I am wrong and don't know what I'm talking about(which i know exactly what I'm talking about) and that I should just perform the service at home since I know what I'm doing and have the equipment, being sarcastic toward me. Amazing. When I tried to leave my house one Saturday morning and discovered a flat tire, I thought my weekend, and possibly even my work week, would be ruined. I contacted the place I purchased my tires, and they had no appointments that day or the following. I called another tire sales chain that had no appointments. Finally I checked with Mr. P's. They told me to drive over and they'd immediately take a look. In under 30 minutes and for less than $30, I was on my way. Quick and cheap! I needed two new front tires, as the current ones were quite bald. I called around to a few places in search of the best price because I refuse to put in a lot of money into my old car. Mr Ps was the cheapest and they had the tires in stock! I headed down on a Tuesday afternoon and spent about 30 minutes there before driving away with new tires at $74 each. Service was friendly, and even with other customers in the shop, they were able to assist everyone and still do the job fast. There's a waiting area, and while it's nothing fancy, it's clean and has a TV on to pass the time. I know Saturdays can be busy (so they told me on the phone), so it might be best to call before just dropping by on a weekend if you're in a time crunch. While I was in there, an older man came in needing a lot of help and Raymond was kind, courteous, and helpful to him as well. Best deal around (better than Costco, Sam's Club, Sears, etc.) for the same tires and I got a warranty plus rebate as well that they addressed for me. I was initially frustrated on my tire fix journey, because I had stopped in a place along the way home from picking up my CSA. They said it'd be 2 hours before I could get in... initially that wasn't that bad, but they also alluded to the fact that the appointment right at this moment was a no-show thus far 10 minutes after their appointment. So long story short, I was kind of peeved... a place that had a willing paying customer was basically told to leave and come back even though they had an open bay to do the work. I decided to head home and do a little research so that I could setup an appointment at some place on Monday over lunch near work. After calling around the city to find that 99% of places require appointments to get a flat tire fixed, but then I found Mr. P's Tires. They are a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED tire place. OMG! I had no idea such a place existed! I will repeat business here for a couple reasons: 1 - They are first come first served, no idiotic appointments needed. I say idiotic, because how do you plan a flat tire? You don't. The whole appointment model for tire fixes is absurd. You go when you need to! 2 - The price to fix the tire! WOW! I was expecting the $40+ to fix it. Nope, $21.12. In and out in under 30 minutes: excellent business model, great service, superb pricing. read more
