On the bright side they also checked the PSI on my tires, inspected my breaks, windshield wipers, battery, fluid levels, turn signals, and lights. Overall they did good, I was disappointed in the higher price than what was given to me on the phone but they inspections did help make up for that. Maybe the higher price was due to the fact my car uses synthetic oil. They are still cheaper than Mr. Tire which charged me around $140 plus for the same thing back in November 2024. I would still recommend them over Mr. Tire.

I was on my way to vacation so i paid up front for the parts and it was agreed that id pick my car up when i got back. He said the timing belt and water pump needed replaced. The price total was $550. When i got back, i called to pick up my car. He then told me my total was $711!! He said they fixed some other things, and i said "Was that neccessary and do you always do that without consent?" He said his secretary got my consent. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS THAT TRUE! She and i only spoke of a timing belt and water pump. I stay on top of all my affairs, im slightly OCD about it. In fact when i spoke to her she had the nerve to keep telling me she told me and i said ok, even tho i told her she never mentioned the extra stuff, ever!. So i sucked it up and paid the full balance to get my car back. To my surprise my car was running worse than ever!! It was very loud, and vibrating. Took it back to the shop and he said it just needs to break in the belt. ?? REALLY?? Over the next 2 weeks it did not improve. I was so upset i refused to take it back there again. So i took it to the shop i bought my car from that sells cars and fixes them. It turns out they had the timing belt on crooked, it was off by an inch! This was making my car do these things. I paid $200 to have it fixed AGAIN, and it now runs like new. With no thanks to Hanes Automotive. For this fiasco i paid over $1,000 to replace a timing belt and water pump. What a rip off from Hanes Automotive! BEWARE!

I found R&M online and reached out asking if they'd take a job on a 2014 Camaro and they were very accommodating. With a phone call and a few emails, they did the job for me on a weekend. Because of where I live and the hours they keep, I never met either of the gentlemen who handled the job--dropped the car after hours one day, picked it up after hours another day--but I can tell you they were both very kind and helpful, stated their pricing upfront and kept to it.
