I went to my GMC dealer with led fog lights they had quoted me 250.00 install due to 3 hr install time. When I got to dealer price went up to 550.00 I said no way. Called Mr. KUSTOM was quoted around 90.00 hr. I made an appt. brought it in and saw Mike very polite and informative. He had his crew install fog lights install reverse lights and install license plate lights. Took 1 1/2 hr charged me 125.00 I thought was fair. I left happy, while driving away my surround camera wouldn't go off so i took it back. His crew took out the reverse LEDs which caused the problem and reinstalled original bulbs. Took about 1/2 hr. Mike didn't charge me a penny even though it was not his fault. I am a lifetime customer of Mr. Kustom for all my aftermarket needs and a big Kuddos to Mike and his great crew. read more

Absolutely solid! Got my Impreza tinted yesterday and once again... they knocked it out of the ballpark. This is the third car they've done for me and the service and quality of work has always been excellent. I called at 12 made an appointment for drop off at 1:30 (lunchtime for me), and my car was done when I got of off work at 5. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Last time I got limo tints all the way around, this time... limo on the backs and medium on the fronts because this is my daily. I can't believe I'm on here giving Mr. Kustom a five-star review, but nobody deserves it more than these guys. All I needed was a grill guard and running boards for my new Denali, and they had my truck in and out in a flash. I got exactly what I needed for a fraction of the cost other shops were quoting me. When they finished I told them I'd be back in the future to make a more custom installations and I will! They gave me a $20.00 off gift card and a free Mr. Kustom T-Shirt one for my friends just for being a new customer. I was in Chicago on business and borrowed my friend's car to get to a meeting. And of course... I got in a car accident. I was referred to Mr. Kustom by my brother-in-law and am pretty happpy about it. I needed to replace a grill guard and hood shield along with some paint repair. I knew they would be able to replace the accessories, but was worried the paint would be mismatched. They called the factory; got the factory paint code and a few days later the car was good to go. Unfortunately had my windows tinted at this place, after waiting for almost 3 hours the RUDE guy with yellow hair told me totally different price than he did over the phone, because apparently something was broken and they had to fix it without even letting me know. Ended up paying even more than I expected and that's not the only thing, the very next day I saw some peeling and bubbles on my windows, when I called they wanted to charge me for a repair. I'm taking my business elsewhere I don't know how these people are in business and the RUDE guy should not be around customers ! Horrible service ! read more

I purchased a 2012 Infiniti M37X over the BMW 535ix but I still liked the halo rings on the BMW. So i had been researching the after market halo rings for the Infiniti M which is not a available. I bought a Lambo Door Kit for my 2010 Camaro on the internet. I called a few shops in Chicago and they said they don't install this item. I called back to the vertical doors company and they recommended this shop. They installed the door kit in a few days, and they work perfectly. And with no scratches on my car! It was amazing how they did it ! I also had my windows tinted here and they did a good job at a reasonable price. I will be back again soon, looking for some wheels and tires for my ride. read more

I recently had my Porsche windows tinted. The next day I noticed that there was an imperfection on the driver's side and took the car back. I had it done very late afternoon so couldn't tell in the dark (make sure you do tints when it is bright out!). Long story short they fixed it right up the very next day no questions asked and no hassle. It looks perfect now. I brought in my 2010 camaro for window tinting. I dropped off my car in the morning and a few hours later they called me and said it was ready. I called several other tint shops listed in the phone book and they gave me the best price. I don't understand the negative reviews. I had them install the horn blasters airhorns in my new truck. They went more than out of their way to make sure I was happy. They even stayed three hours after closing to make sure my truck was ready and done. I would not hesitate to use them again at all. They kept me in the loop on everything they were doing. Had my windows tinted at this place just a few weeks ago. The tint is already coming off so I went back to this place so they can fix their mistake but they wanted to charge me extra for it!! But when I was having it done they said I have a warranty on it! This place is a huge dissapointment and the guy with yellow hair was extremely rude, the nicer I was the more of an ass he became. Mr. Kustom did an excellent job on my 2016 Ford Mustang GT. he tinted my windows, installed an invisible front-end bra and I mean "invisible", installed rear and side window louvers , some striping then painted the calipers with the FORD mustang emblem on them.
