Good and bad here. Keep in mind, I am from Maryland so this is all out of my league. I thought the place appeared and was well represented on social media. Colorful and current making me want to stop. Open late, another plus. In a late night district. Fun themed, too. Unfortunately, they only had one person working that late - I felt bad but she definitely handled it no issue at all. She pointed me in the right direction because I was confused. There are different items all defined from musical artists which was fun, but I wanted all of them LOL. I wish that on the digital screen that shows the menu that there were more photos of what you would be ordering. That might be helpful. There were some, though. Which is truly what led me to what I got - visual learner here. Also, the blue ice cream I got was SOOOO good - highly recommend. Extremely fun and clean in here and in a perfect area for young folk looking for a late night treat. A plus for selling water - always need water when having ice cream.

Happened to stumble on this spot by chance. It is so hip and soulful! The decor is retro but also pays homage to hip hop. The names of their flavors are witty - not too mention delicious! My son had the Blue Ivy cotton Candy Marshmallows with gummy bears and loved it!! If I wasn't so full I would've tried one of their alcohol infused frozen drinks but nevertheless, I'll have to be back. The place had benches as well and board games to play with about two old arcade games. It is pretty small and there was only one staff member but she was nice and quick. I have to come back

Not bad! Very trendy Ice cream place. The lighting could've been a lot better, but overall tasty food. I got the blue Cookie Monster ice cream which was Fantastic. Has a lot of potential. I'd definitely go back to give it another shot, maybe during the summer.

First time at this establishment. Such a cute spot. Jen was so helpful she offered to have us taste the ice creams before we purchased. The have a wide variety to pick from. The also have frozen drinks infused with liquor. They name the ice cream with a hip hop flare. They also play music great hip hop old school vibe when I was there. I love that they pay omish to the old hip legends. How about they made a red velvet waffle fresh in the waffle maker so good. Jen was so accommodating very friendly and suggested something unique for eachperson in our group. The staff were great and very helpful and informative customer service was on point. The lines grow fast so just be aware but they move really fast. If ever in the Wyndwood area, com check them out. Good service and good ice cream!

The hiphop feel is so dope. Their ice cream is even better! They have flavors of all kinds named after Hip-Hop staples. The atmosphere was amazing. The ice cream is delicious. So many instagrammable shots. Friendly staff. Fast Service. Clean shop. So sad to hear they closed down! I really liked this place!

We stumbled on this cute ice cream shop in Wynwood on a Sunday evening... Super cute vibe, inside is very nice and clean... customer service is excellent.. the lady at the counter was polite and patient.. she allowed us to try the flavors we wanted before making our final decision... the flavors are different but they all look delicious.. we ordered 3 strawberry ice creams in a cup and 1 Guava cheesecake.. everything was tasted great... next time we come I am getting my ice cream in a cone....

So glad I found this ice cream shop. Especially on date night. I was craving dessert with icecream and this was the perfect spot. When you walk in the scene is well thought of like an old school 90's hip hop. So thoughtful and on the wall they have so many popular hip hop and rap stars pictures. SO MANY ICECREAM CHOICES :) love that. No matter what you are in the mood for they have a flavor to satisfy that. We decided to try the brownie with ice cream and being our first time here the employee let us try all the flavors we wanted, she was very kind and patient. The signature flavor is the blue color cookie dough mix one, surprisingly really good. The color will make u think its sweet or blueberry but really cool how they make it. We got brownies and 2 scoops of icecream with the choice of whip cream, nutella, fudge or caramel and then all the toppings you want. The spot is perfect for date night or any ages/family. They have jenga, uno and a dj set so the scene is always popping. And the prices are definitely reasonable especially for somewhere in wynwood. Some places over charge for a scoop of icecream but my dessert was the perfect price with the best customer service and delicious! And a shout out to the wonderful employee who made our occasion joyful. I didnt get her name but her blue hair matched the signature blue ice cream! Cant wait to bring more friends here!

I would like to start this by saying, the ice cream was AMAZING. I had strawberry and the creamsicle (I wish I remembered their names). The design of the shop was dope too. The shop definitely payed homage to hip hop and its artist. There was a walk of fame with a number of hip hop artist even some of the most legendary Miami hip hop artist. Each of the ice creams had hip hop influenced names. I am giving three stars because how is this a hip hop inspired ice cream parlor but there is no hip hop being played? Also, it was a little busy when I came but I felt rushed into placing my order and did not feel the customer service was as amazing as the ice cream or the ambiance. It could have simply been a bad day. The next time I am in Miami, I will still visit again.

Julio C.

I love the design and the vibe of this place! I walked in, and Suni (sorry if I misspelled your name) took her time to describe each flavor. She also gave me some recommendations and told me the one that sells the most. That is such an outstanding level of customer service I don't often see in Miami. I got the blue one because it got my attention. Plus, it is the one that sells the most. I would suggest giving a bigger cup for the small portion. I tried to eat it fast, but the Miami heat melted it faster enough to get my hands covered in blue. This place has Fantastic Ice cream, service, and vibe. Very welcoming! I will be back!

I'm so happy that Mr. Kream is still in Wynwood, lets hope they stay till the end of the year to enjoy thror delicious ice cream. My kids love coming here every weekend. And Jenny is the best, not sure how it would be without her.

Large cone with 2 scoops. Waffle bowl with 2 scoops. Total ~$17

Hands down, the best ice cream shop in town! Ice cream is one of my weaknesses, I've been following Mr.kream on instagram for a while and kept hearing it was all the rage. Finally was able to visit on Sunday with friends and what a great experience it was! The vibe, the ambiance, the staff and the decorations were truly great, visiting Mr.Kream was like stepping out of Miami for a few hours and into New York. The music and live DJ were the cherry on top of the delicious flavors and the creativity behind the small shop. 2 Live blue is one of their most popular flavors and it's definitely worth all the rage. Be warned, it will leave your mouth and tongue bright blue. I wanted to try their strawberry cheesecake flavor, but I was told the flavors rotate so it was not available that day. Instead I tried Shabba Ranks, which was a coconut fudge flavor, and truly delicious as well! Most of our party went with the 2 live blue as well as 24k, and Cardi Banana flavor. The 24k was kind of like carrot cake with a cinnamon flavor. Cardi Banana is self explanatory. The two guys behind the counter were extremely helpful and patient as everyone decided on their flavors (it was a hard choice). You're able to try out the flavors before placing your order. The decor inside is simple, yet bold. Bright colors with framed pictures of hip hop icons, which make for very cute photo ops. Will definitely be back for more of that Cookie Monster approved ice cream and to try more flavors!

This place is awesome. Hands down! On my last day in Miami a friend mentioned this place she saw on Love & Hip Hop and it just happened to be in the neighborhood we were already exploring. Walking in and I was already smiling because they were playing good (Hip Hop and R&B) music. There were TV's that showed videos and all on the walls were famous musicians. There is little seating but it seems to get real live in there since there was DJ equipment set up. There are jumbo Uno cards & jumbo Jenga to enjoy while sitting around. All around good use of the small space they have going on. The ice cream flavors are named after famous rappers & singers and just as delicious! I fell in love with the Lil Kim- strawberry cheesecake, but was able to try some other flavors. 2 Live Blue, the Bonita Apple Pie tasted just like Apple pie with a scoop of ice cream on top, Grand Daddy Purp, & 24k Carrot Cake were all delicious. I was so jealous that this spot was only in Miami. I swear if this was in Indianapolis, I would never go back to Coldstone. This will be my 1st stop next time I come to Miami

Michelle B.

This spot has become my ice cream staple in Miami. I love the hip-hop theme. They even have the OG Pac-Man. Service is always top notch. Shout out to the homie who made a waffle from scratch because y'all were out and it was my boyfriend's bday. Y'all are the truth. Every time I set foot in the place i feel welcomed and just excited as I was the first time I came. They have frozen drinks now! I tried the Frozé and it was bomb dot com. Y'all are doing it right and killing it.

Kanye's Dark Twisted Fantasy, Jenny From The Block, De La Guava I didn't know it when I walked in, but I've been waiting for a hip hop ice cream lounge like this -- excellent assortment of flavors ranging from your classic favorites (e.g. Dough Boy aka Cookie Dough and Choco Chip) to more exciting flavors like Granddaddy Purp (Raspberry Chocolate), with a super creative retro 90s hip hop vibe that's reflected in the playlist bumping on the speakers. A little on the pricier side but a sure fire date spot if you're trying to bring someone through. You can sample your heart out, and that's important to me -- they don't get pissed behind the counter, unlike some other arrogant ice cream and gelato shops that are out there. They seem to be proud of their craft and want to share it with you. Nice place to kick it and play Jenga or the Arcade machine as you finish your cup, which actually didn't turn into a sloppy mess too quickly. Def worth hitting up as you plan your visit to Miami/Wynwood! read more

Mr Kream has some really good ice cream and if you are looking for ice cream, this is the place to go. Personally, I had chocolate (that had some name that had nothing to do with the ice cream) and it tasted great, my wife and I also really enjoyed the spoons that change when liquid is added from pink to purple in the location of liquid and then change back when they dry. We enjoyed those spoons enough that we brought them home with us. One thing to note is the set up of the restaurant is a little different and more suited towards a younger crowd (like I wouldn't suggest bringing a typical parent over 40 as I feel they would have some problems. Personally, I thought it was a cool design with R&B/Rap paraphernalia around and some slightly customized to have Mr Kream written into it. On a separate note, if you plan on driving, there's both street parking and a parking garage nearby, but they are quite expensive. In a parking lot I paid $5/hour, where in South Beach, I paid $1/hour (I think this is because of a college nearby, but still). read more

Overrated! Ice cream is not great. Most of the flavors aren't creamy. Instead very stiff and icy. Ambiance is not welcoming, although cool items in the shop. The names of each flavor are "cool" but mostly not relevant to the flavor causing confusion.. the staff doesn't seem very happy to explain or describe each flavor. Finally, it is very expensive. At least I find 2 ice creams at $20 very expensive. read more

Maybe I went at the wrong time of day?? I was expecting more. I lurked on yelp for an ice cream place for when we came to Miami. This place had very high expectations. We go in and there is no DJ, but music is playing. The blue ice cream I wanted was not there. So I settled for another flavor. Also looked like construction was going on next door so the place seemed extremely small. Maybe we will go back when the new locations opens up. Edited: We came in around 1:15PM yesterday, Saturday. My first time visiting Mr. Kream and the concept is actually really nice. The ice cream was very tasty, but the reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because I am big on customer service. I work in the Hospitality business and customer service is everything! The guy that was working there tonight was not welcoming at all. I touched the glass to point out the flavor to the young lady and the tone he used was very loud and harsh as if he wasn't speaking to a paying customer. My cousin looked at me with confusion trying to figure out why he was so loud to the point where she didn't even want to get anything anymore as his whole approach changed her whole vibe. If you don't want people to touch the glass then put up a sign that says don't touch the glass. I'm pretty sure many of your customers touch the glass to point out what they want as it's human nature to point things out. I'm afraid to ask how would he have reacted if someone's elbow mistakingly brushed against the glass and wiped off some of the writing?!?! When delivering a message understand the usage of your TONE matters. Learn how to speak to paying customers! read more

The concept is cool! They were out of the Twix bread pudding but after trying the Oreo bread pudding, I'd be scared to try it. The Oreo bread pudding was gross & rubbery. The guy cut a slice & put it in what appeared to be a toaster oven. We're not sure if it was heated up properly because it was still cold when served. Needless to say it was horrible with ice cream on top! The red velvet cake flavor was good. I was a little disappointed that the only cheesecake flavor they had was the guava because I did not care for it. Overall for the price, it wasn't worth it. Update: Your response seems to match the atmosphere...unprofessional & ratchet. Due to the unprofessional response I received you don't have to worry about me visiting again. What I stated was that the Oreo bread pudding was gross & rubbery. Also I've been to many different ice cream shops where they have more than ONE cheesecake ice cream flavor, OR they will have an original cheesecake flavor that can be paired with other flavors. Sounds like someone is a little too sensitive to be running a business, if you can't take constructive criticism well & is going to get butt hurt over a negative review but you're right my 2 stars was uncalled for. Due to this type of response you deserve negative stars but I will update accordingly. read more

The ice-cream here is so delicious! The staff are so nice and will explain the all ice-cream flavors they have (plus multiple tastings) to help you decide. There are so many delectable flavors to choose from and it's guaranteed to satisfy any sweet-tooth! As a carrot cake lover I couldn't resist the ice-cream 24K, and the other one I got called Jenny from the Block (caramel cheesecake) was just as divine. Azucar bills itself as the first homemade Cuban ice cream and I believe it. Get the Abuela Maria. Cafe con Leche and Mantecado round out the top three and neither disappoints. Real talk on the practical stuff. It is busy and the shop is small, so expect a line and expect to eat standing or perched on the window bench. Prices run about seven to eleven bucks a cup depending on size, but taxes are included in the sticker (rare and appreciated, no surprise math at the register). Cash and Apple Pay both work.
