Online order

Disgusting! Stay away! If I can give it a 0 star I would in a heartbeat. I was in the area and the pictures of the food looked good and I guess my kids and I where craving asian food... ‍ I should had ran and said no, like I wanted to. First of all how is it that I place the order before 3! And when I pick it up within the time frame that it gave me, you charge me $10 more! I asked "why when I placed it it says $45?!" "Oh that's because its after 3" apparently the special I selected was a until 3 special. No where online it says you will get charged $10! More after 3:pm! It should matter what time i placed it not when I pick it up. (See picture of order time and amount) First time and absolutely my last time! The food definitely was not worth $55! What a waste of my time and money. And the food was mediocre, my "teriyaki chicken" was white as a ghost ( no sauce and dry as he!!, had to put it on the grill at least) broccoli was hard and no taste. Stay away!!!!!

I have ordered takeout from Mr. chefs for years and it has always been exceptional! But this was the first time I had actually gone into the restaurant to dine in. Our waitress was phenomenal. She was so attentive and she checked on us a lot. The food was great and came out very fast. The drinks were also very good. The atmosphere was so nice, I definitely will be back!

After a long day of shopping, we were hungry. We looked up sushi places and this place had decent reviews. Sushi is very good and food is also good. I would recommend this place to you. We were super hungry so we ordered from both Japanese menu and Chinese menu. Food: Sushi- very good and fresh My go to orders are always fashion and crazy maki - fashion maki(eel, avo, cucumber and cream cheese) - crazy maki (shrimp tempura roll). I've had better crazy maki but it was still good. - Volcano sushi was beautiful but had too much spicy Mayo and sauces on it for my likely. I dug through the volcano and took out the sushi I wanted to eat - amazing maki was good but also too rich and fatty Food entrees - seafood pan fried noodles were my favorite thing we ordered. Light sauce and allowed the seafood flavors to speak for itself - pad Thai was good, but I've had better at Thai restaurants - orange chicken was good... but tasted just like McDonald's chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce ...hmmmmmm

Miso and salad

I stopped coming here for awhile now after a bad past experience. Before, The food quality was mediocre and the service was poor. This time around it is much better. They stepped it up since the last time a visit which was like a year ago. This time the quality of the scallop and sushi is so much better and the service was great. They are renovating so I was seated at the sushi counter. If you want quantity sushi go to susu and if you want quality sushi (in stoughton) than give this place a try. What stands out here, is the the salad has spring mix in it (other places is just lettuce) and the miso soup has a good portion of tofu and seaweed ( other places soup is the ingredients are skimpy to non existent). I wanna give them 5 stars but they were all over the place today.

My experience at Mr. Chef very very disappointing I don't give it any stars. The restaurant was not ready to seat any one. My waitress was not friendly she was just a high school student as the manager "and she was trying to learn hands-on duties. Male waiter pans was just coming down he needed about the manager and I will not experience well equipped employees I am very very disappointed and I don't like anyone to go in there and have a sit down dinner just a takeout you don't get what you pay for when you have it sit down

Descent food, small place. Maybe 6-7 tables. Service was good. Got the Sushi, but it didn't come with any soy sauce.

2 stars solely for service. I ordered delivery and it didn't come until legit 1hr and 55mins later. It confirmed for one hour once the order was placed. I called at the hour and half mark and was put on hold for 5 mins. I had to call back again to of course be told the order was on the way. Food was decent when it arrived but it was cold.

Great overall. They have a huge menu and everything I've tried so far has been good, not at all greasy. They have an easy online ordering system and everything is always packaged really well for takeout. Everyone I've ever interacted with while picking up was wearing their masks properly and they maintain a sanitized place. I love the sweet and sour chicken.

Great food but service is hit or miss. Above average food comes with above average prices. Service can be extremely slow and haphazard.

This is a 21st century look at Asian Gourmet. Everything is super tasty! If you like classic apps, this is the best in the South Shore.

They offer lunch and dinner specials/combos at reasonable prices. The place is order at the counter with open kitchen and there is hard booths for eating inside. I stopped by Sakura Japan in Brockton for lunch takeout recently. I decided to go with the B6 Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box ($16.99 plus tax-Lunch) which includes choice of rice, soup, appetizer, sushi roll, and salad, sauces provided. I was also given a complementary iced sweet lemonade too. My food was all set in about 10 minutes. The portion size for the bento box lunch was very good, compared to other Asian places near my home, which tend to skimp on bento box portions. The grilled salmon was very tender over the fresh cooked vegetable fried rice. The hot & sour soup (pint) was very hot and had good mild spicy flavors. The fried dumplings were crispy outside. The California Roll with wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce was very good, as the Seaweed Salad was a good side for the sushi. I enjoyed half of my lunch in the restaurant and enjoyed the rest when I got home.

First impression, this is a large restaurant, very clean and modern with a nice long bar, The lunch specials are 12.50 - 13.50 or so. Not bad. What you get is the main dish and either fried or white rice only. No appetizer and no soup but that's fine, it's lunch and I just need to eat a normal portion of a tasty dish and that is what we got. My buddy got Yu Hsaing beef and hot n sour soup. I tasted the dish and it was delicious especially the mushrooms that had absorbed the mildly spicy yet savory sauce. I got Three Delights which was fine though I believe the shrimp was frozen and understandable as I imagine fresh deliveries were held up due to a paralyzing snowstorm. One minor complaint had to ask for duck sauce and had to ask for tea and was in fact charged for the cup of tea 1.75 I believe. Waiter nice guy, thought funny he was using the universal belt LOL it was probably a size 40 belt and he was a skinny guy maybe a 30 waist, so it did look odd. With the tip was 43 bucks, a bit more than what I like to spend at lunch, but it was a relaxing time. On the way out had a chat with I believe the owner or maybe manager very nice guy. I will come back.

I ordered some sushi, some Yakitori (because my dogs…read morelove them and they deserved a yummy treat), and ramen that I put in the fridge for Sunday in plan of having some good hot soup after shoveling the pending snow. While my order was in route, the restaurant called and informed me that my driver forgot the hot items. Before I could even feel an ounce of disappointment and without prompt I was asked for my address as well as phone number and their delivery guy brought my ramen! No extra charge, and when I tried to give him a tip, he politely declined. THAT is platinum level of customer service. And to top it off, the sushi was delicious...I cannot wait to heat up and try the ramen. Highly suggest, if I could give more stars I would!

I recently wrote a review for the 'Hot & New' Omori in Quincy. While I am not a detractor of Omori,…read morethe experience there left something to be desired. This is due to some creative decisions I disagree with and, at times, very little eel. Meanwhile, Sake Japanese Restaurant hits just the right spot! The creative decisions were excellent, with everything coming together splendidly. The fish was fresh and in more than generous amounts. This, in turn, makes the cost of about $20 per roll seem reasonable and makes it much easier to stomach (I didn't intend the pun, but I will own it). Regarding the Holiday and the Kevin Page, these maki rolls are similar. Both shine with the white fish on top and generous amounts of tuna (and salmon in the Holiday's case) within. The eel and cucumber add a pleasant new dimension to the pieces. I'd say these two are like identical twins adopted by different families. Each will have some unique personality and flair, but at the core, they are one. The crazy tuna brought something different to the table. While I am generally not a fan of the chopped-up style of fish, here it just works, and I didn't mind it. If I were to guess, this is because many places have more tempura than fish and add too much spicy mayo. Despite the style, the tuna was still able to shine through. For the inside, I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the cumber with the sweetness and savory notes from the eel. Finally, the service was polite and speedy, though it wasn't bustling. Thus, not only would I happily return to Sake, but I would love to order the same three rolls again, for they were *that* good.

Went back for a dinner a year after the big "under new management" change. Interesting findings…read more -- Egg Rolls: A little small, a little dry, but nicely crisp, old school celery filling, and VERY intense BBQ pork flavor inside. Almost like a pork bun. A little above average thanks to the flavor. -- Chinatown Ribs: Not available when they first did the new management thing, but their signature babybacks are back, at least as a special. A different cut from the spares, these are a little pricey at $28, and odd cutting-- some wide, some narrow-- but very thick (2" in spots) and very juicy. Just enough glaze, and thankfully not all over the cross sections, because these fresh-cooked ribs have nothing to hide and need no crutch (I'm looking at you, Jasmine Garden). Very pleasant flavor. Near-elite. -- Yu Hsiang Beef (on a combo): Yes, they do dinner combos. The beef was very tender, with pleasant spicy flavor and sweetness to balance it out. It seems the sweetness is a new twist; I preferred the version I had twice a year ago that was much more spicy and savory, but this was good. Nice assortment of peppers and wood ear mushrooms. Above average. -- Spareribs (on a combo): Had to try these too. These changed a little from a year ago (previously near-elite once and elite once)-- not as thick and no scoring of the surface. Delicious glaze, but dry and probably a reheat. Will definitely get these again, but as a full order, not as extras plopped onto a combo. A little below average, but still some good signs. -- Pork Fried Rice (on a combo): Dry. Muted flavor. Below average. -- General Gau's Chicken: Very crispy and staying crispy throughout the meal, these flattened, bumpy mini cutlets had quality chicken, good tenderness, and a complex sauce mixing heat into the sweet the way the General is supposed to but which most don't. Caramelly delicious. Near-elite to elite. Some bumps in the road still, but still plenty to like.
