Service is ridiculous. Stood in line for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Everyone else who was Caucasian either was able to order or was asked if they had ordered without acknowledging myself and my niece. Tried the almond milk tea with boba here - I'm sorry, I love local businesses but it was just really, really bad. The tea was so weak and the almond taste so overpowering it reminded me strongly of like almond extract mixed with room temperature water. It didn't seem completely chilled and was between refrigerated temp and room temp, which was weird. And THE BOBA! My favorite part!! It was sooo soft and almost mushy, like it'd been overcooked or had been soaking forever. I came around 5:30 PM so not at closing or anything. Something else about the milk tea was really weird too. It has a sort of powder dissolved in liquid consistency/look to it?? I don't really know how it was made or flavored because the lovely person who helped me went into the back to make it, but I've actually never had this weird consistency before, or at least if it was flavored with powder it wasn't this obvious. It looks thicker than normal milk tea would. As I drink it, it literally leaves a residue on the inside of the cup as the liquid level goes down. Maybe if you try bubble tea here just try the unflavored milk tea. Extra star for the cute and clean interior with chill music. I might try something else just because I really want to like it. I'm sorry Mr Boba! EDIT: Sorry, I tried the basic milk tea here out of pure stubbornness, and it was just as watered down tasting with mushy boba as the first time. :( At least there was no powder taste/residue, but still can't recommend it. read more

While most people come here and taste the good boba but leave because of the customer service, I stayed. You have to understand that while the lady that often takes your order might come off as "rude" or "stoic" she is actually quite nice. She is simply reserved. All I am saying is that business is business. I get what I ordered I have no problem. I'm not really looking for a discussion when I come I am looking for a drink, and if you are looking for a discussion and a drink maybe look for a bar next time. There has never been one time where I had a bad drink at Mr.Boba. In my opinion, they have the best bang for your buck and the store is quite cute. read more

What a cute place to relax and chat with friends! It is very spacious and has enough tables to come and study. I ordered a milk tea boba and I really liked it!! I must come back and try other drinks too! The parking is not a problem at all. The manager Mrs. Young was very nice and friendly! Oh my goodness if you love boba tea you gotta go here. I love in cedar park and would have to drive across town for a good Boba tea. I don't normally write reviews but I discovered yesterday this little gem just recently opened and I decided to try it out today. I am pretty critical and picky with my boba tea and this one was just perfect. I got Thai milk tea with boba. So delicious, boba is perfect texture, Thai mix is just right. I've had some where is just taste terrible and overpowering or no flavor at all or boba is like mush and or rubber. Ughhh just give this place a try. Horrible customer service from a woman who I think is the owner. My daughter dropped her drink my accident, and the lady came out shaking her head giving heavy sighs... she cleaned it up and threw away the remainder of the drink. My daughter asked if she could remake it because she threw the rest of the drink away. She got really mad, yelled at her that it wasn't her fault and made her say she was sorry... she did make her a new one, but wow, just wow! read more

Subpar drinks and they illegally charge you a fee for using your card. Cashier was a bored teenager that didn't give 2 shits about the quality of our drinks or the fact she was charging me more ILLEGALLY. Go to Hmart or KungFu tea for some good boba. This is was grainy and not good. read more

I enjoy their drinks and boba and have visited about 4 times. I appreciate the kids train table as it keeps the little ones occupied and distracted from the knick knacks on the wall (which are small and delicate). The drinks are good, prices average. The service is awkward and not very friendly. It feels like a neighborgood spot when you walk in, but the hospitality and friendliness is definitely missing. Good place to stop by, but it might be awhile until I return. A few nearby spots have opened and I may need to drive a few minutes longer, but I am looking forward to a different atmosphere. read more

Provide free wifi. Came from LA, stopped this place by accident and would love to visit again. Best milk tea Boba in Austin area. 2nd day visit back to back before go to airport. Quite and romantic environment! Had milk tea with bubbles which is good for those who don't have sweet teeth.

Good atmosphere for families and students, but there are much better places for bubble tea in town (see my other reviews). I wasn't impressed with the bubble tea drinks that 11 year old and I ordered, he got coconut and I got my usual Thai tea. They were okay, but nothing to rave about. I was especially disappointed that the shaved ice wasn't Thai shaved ice as I was hoping for another option up North that had both. read more

I've been always a fan of boba milk tea but I've not been addicted to boba milk tea until I found this place. I was always resistant to get milk tea every time at other places because of the taste of the chemical in their drink. I could feel that I'm taking in something that I should've not...powder milk tea are from China and you know China is famous for poisoning food. But now that I found Mr Boba, their milk tea is made from real tea, real milk and I love it. The boba taste is consistent every time, always sweet and has honey taste in it. I come almost every day of the week to get my milk tea just like I get coffee every day. Love this place. For my son, I always get fruit smoothies and he loves it every time because smoothies here are made from real fruit not flavored powder. read more

I love Mr. Boba! The frosty milk (honey, milk and boba) is to die for! Owner was super nice and gave my friends and I some samples when we first came in. The place is a little small, but also really cute and cozy with sock monkeys, miniature tea sets, and plants. Wish there was one in Austin! read more

I love that Cedar Park now has a decent boba drink place and I don't need to drive 30 minutes to Austin. My first drink was the mango slushy with boba. So delicious. Boba was soft and chewy with just a hint of sweetness. I only wish they gave a little more boba. Second drink I tried was the guava smoothie with boba and lychee jelly. Mr. Boba is one of those places where there is a friendly and comfortable environment as well as affordable unique drinks! The menu had an extensive amount of custom creations and offers choices galore! On top of the drinks there are a few food items available for purchase such as waffles which I've heard are splendid. The seating and the shop itself is clean and nice. It could be considered pricey to some however from the service you receive to your end product of yummy it's worth any price. read more

I had slightly sweetened green tea with boba pearls, and it was delicious. The tea was sweet, but not overly so, and the green tea flavor was strong but nicely balanced. The tapioca pearls were also slightly sweet, but again, not overwhelming. They were soft, but nicely chewy, which is what I prefer. There was supposed to be a $5 minimum charge for credit cards, but the lady at the counter was nice and let me charge just my one tea for $3.95 plus tax. Will definitely be returning. read more
