It is small and quaint with some of the smaller combined tables having plastic dividers separating the diners. I appreciated that the establishment has a clear process of operations for take out and dine in. The team is efficient in their service and ability to turn tables so we were seated pretty quickly. We tried the BBQ pork, roasted pork, soya chicken and BBQ duck. BBQ Pork - was standard and pretty good. However, I've definitely had better elsewhere in regard to flavor and crispiness. Roasted Pork - I really enjoyed this as it was moist, savory, and not overtly sweet. Soya Chicken - was ok... kind of dry. BBQ Duck - was ok as well. Definitely be sure to order the pieces without the bones. I opted for them to give me whatever pieces and ended up with barely any meat. Overall, it was good, but not anything extraordinarily amazing. FYI - they are a cash only establishment. We were not aware but luckily there is a grocery store on the second floor of the building with an ATM machine.

It was the beef, pork, lamb, cilantro beef and the cold plate. The chicken wings and the cheesy corn came out last. It's located in the Aberdeen food court fairly close to the air train station and seating is available further down in the food court; it was pretty packed on a Saturday morning so you have to be ready to share or prepare to square up for a table. BBQ Pork: Perfectly crunchy skin and the pork is moist all the way through. Satisfying chew, but not overcooked at all. Perfect amount of sodium and zero funk that you can sometimes get with pork. The perfect, encyclopedic Chinese bbq pork. BBQ Duck: Super savory and fatty with a bit of sweetness on the skin. Again, super moist (almost juicy dare I say) all the way through. Literally no sauce needed.

Their business is situated in a busy mall and it's more of a take out place vs a sit down restaurant. They also operate as a butcher shop. The workers here are really friendly and I never have issues ordering for someone who doesn't speak Cantonese/Mandarin. I rotate between ordering their roasted pork, soy chicken, and steamed chicken. All are amazing, especially the steamed chicken!! I ordered this by mistake once and didn't realize something so simple could be so delicious. The ginger scallion sauce they provide with it is so good. Everything always tastes fresh. Prices are great too, especially with the US to CAN conversion. Highly recommended!

The staff helped us replace the charcoal when it dwindled down in our second hour. With a group of 5, it was a little cramped and hard to keep everyone eating. I'd say it's probably ideal with 2 to 4 people. Selected the deluxe tier for more options. Highlights for me were the cumin lamb, pork jowl, beef rib fingers w pineapple, and eel. Eel comes precooked similar to the frozen packaged types but best to reheat. Beware the skin sticks to the grill, wouldn't recommend getting much to be honest. Those cuts tend to take longer to cook, but they were seasoned well Thinner cuts like beef belly, beef blade, beef tongue were good. Easy to do a quick sear. Some inconsistent cuts across meat sections, but I didn't mind. Udon, cold noodle, rice. All were served in pretty big portions. Compared to the other AYCE spots, I'd say the portion they give is about double/triple the usual snack size. I'd suggest ordering 1 to share between 2 to keep the meat goin' instead. Snack counter had chicken nuggets, spicy fish skin salad, seaweed salad, edamame, and candy too.

I enjoyed their wide selection of meats available to order. The pork belly and beef tongue are always my favourite and it didn't disappoint here. I found their cuts of meat a little inconsistent as some of them were too fatty which I wasn't a fan of. Their other items like udon and cold noodles I would pass on next time as well. They come as big portions so be careful when ordering. I would also skip on the corn cheese. However, I would recommend their fried rice as it was fried quite nicely. They also have a snack bar with items such as fries, chicken nuggets, gummies, seaweed salad, and watermelon.

Every item we ordered was well prepared and true to the HK flavors you'd expect -- nothing overly salty or greasy, just balanced and satisfying. We tried half a BBQ duck and the three-meat combo with rice, and both were excellent. The staff were friendly and courteous, and I especially appreciated how generous they were with sauces -- a small detail that goes a long way. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the food temperature. Nothing came out piping hot, which left me wondering if the dishes had been sitting out for a bit -- or perhaps the restaurant just doesn't see as much volume during off-peak hours. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but hotter plates would elevate the experience. Pricing was very reasonable, especially with their ongoing specials, making it an easy choice for a casual meal that delivers on flavor and value. Despite the quiet setting, Yummy BBQ deserves more attention -- it's a solid spot for classic HK BBQ done right.

The brand is a staple in Vancouver. I remember coming here many many years ago with friends and I…read morewent recently for a birthday dinner at it was underwhelming. We intended on getting the à la carte menu at first but realized that based on how many big eaters we had, it was more bang for our buck with the all you can eat menu. We chose the lowest tier of all you can eat and there were some people who preferred seafood; even if you upgraded to the highest tier the selection in our opinion, didn't get drastically better that it was "worth it". We had a party of six and was seated at a long table with a divider. When we got to our seat, the staff had placed the divider at exactly the table edges connecting the two stove but it was so squishy and uncomfortable for 6 people that we had to move the divider over a little. There's a time limit for all you can eat however with one stove and us not knowing that the vegetables came raw and in full foiled packages, it took a long time to grill anything. Our waitress came over many many times to remind us about the time limit and even then... we were well over our time limit even though we only put in two rounds of food. One stove shared between six people was awful. It's not like our stove could cook any faster even if the waitress rushed us. We were even ending the meal with s'mores and the waitress couldn't wait any longer and brought over the bill. We had to put down our s'mores stick to pay the bill so she could leave us alone to finish the meal... the restaurant was not busy, there were plenty of empty tables and there was no one waiting in the lobby. Did not appreciate the service here. Overall, food was greasy and not memorable (as I just tried a different grilled meat spot a few days prior). The portions were weird. Most of the dishes were severely under portioned so we made sure to up our portions for round two. Our time was up before we could even put in our final round three order. The staff also didn't respect some of the items. We put in ice cream on the first order as people wanted to use it as a grease palate cleanser and it was only when we followed up with the waitress did they say "oh we thought it should be served at the end of the meal instead since it's a dessert". Perhaps following the orders of what customers mark off would help with better customer service....

There are different tiers for the AYCE, we just selected the Classic ($36.99/person, Mon-Thur all day; Fri-Sat 11am-4pm). For the hot pot, we just go up to the open refrigeration and select our meats and vegetables, and place in the metal pot. We bring the metal pot to the bar/front counter and select a choice of soup. I tried the bone broth (which was just ok) and the tom yum (which was good). The hot pot would be delivered to our table when done. Note, for those we don't want the BBQ meats, they do have a "Magic Pot Special" (Mon-Fri, 11am-4pm) for $25.99/person. For the BBQ meats, we select from our choices and was brought to our table cooked and placed on the hot plate to keep warm. The chicken and beef were excellent and not dry. Salads and other cooked food at the front counter also included. There is free parking out front. The décor is from the old ACB restaurant which brought fond memories from 30 years ago! Restaurant was clean and the neon decoration added a touch of casual/fun atmosphere . Would definitely come back.

The pork belly was decent, but that's a cheaper cut that's hard to ruin.
