Whatever you do don't get delivery from them. They are extremely inconsistent. They skimp randomly on portions. I got the duck for 3 dollars extra, and they send me nothing but skin and bones. Be careful and when reaching out to let them know, they simply tell you "every duck is different" what a joke of a staff. read more

他们的饺子太好吃了。我等了有点长时间，但送餐的人很好，食物也很美味。我回再次点菜！谢谢。 Their dumplings are so delicious. I waited a long time, but the food delivery man was nice and the food was amazing. I will be ordering food from here again. Thank you! read more

Delivery was fast and arrived piping hot. I really liked the fried shrimp and pork soup dumpling. The steamed pork soup dumplings were good, but I did notice the soup was either absorbed by the dough or had leaked. Some that retained the soup were amazing though. I would definitely order again. Packaged with care and the utensils were good quality. read more

Wish we would've read the negative reviews before ordering. Have been waiting 2 hours for our food to arrive, were asked by the restaurant to contact the driver ourselves who then continued lying about when he would arrive. Called and was hung up on three separate times by the people working in store when I asked for help resolving the issue. Haven't eaten the food yet, but I'm sure it's cold and not worth this! :) read more

Yesterday my Dan Dan was all stuck together and it was not as good. Sorry - but consistency is important.

Horrible service especially on Uber eats. Literally 2 minutes from my house and they are unresponsive over the phone. Do not order from here

I imagine the soup dumplings would have been good if the liquid hadn't vanished and they weren't cold. Our order arrived just over 2 hours after we placed it. read more

I thought their dumplings were really tasty! I ordered the shrimp, mushroom and pork boiled dumplings and I though the filling had a lot of shrimp and pork. It's a thicker style wrapper, which I don't mind. I also tried the scallion pancakes. I liked how thin they were. My only complaint is that the pancake was quite oily, but I think thats how they usually are. Very good fast casual restaurant overall and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

I order 5 items and say need all the sauces.. i get delivered to my hotel. Not one freaken sauce... not even soy sauce... what a piece of you know what the place is... read more

The service is relatively fast & very good customer service. The food is yummy & pretty good pricing. I usually order steamed dumplings & Mr. Bao Bowl. The outdoor space in the backyard is nice to sit at & good with social distancing. read more

Yum, definitely coming back here! I think they were a bit swamped by the new opening since they ran out of pork and chive dumplings, so I tried the mixed bao, the shrimp and pork soup dumplings, and the beef and onion fried dumplings. Every item was delicious and I definitely want to encourage this place and more like it but I'll leave some more detailed thoughts. I'd expect them to tweak their recipes over time so maybe I'll update after heading back. The strongest point is the quality of the doughs and wrappers. Every dough had a different but satisfying texture and great balance of filling to wrapper. They were also beautifully presented. My favorite item was the soup dumplings, which had a subtle sweet filling and an excellent vinegar sauce. I would prefer a bit less sesame oil in the filling. The beef and onion dumplings were also fantastic. I loved the texture of the fried dumpling skin and the rich black color of the dough, and the filling had a five-spice sweetness that reminded me of beef noodle soup. I would have preferred a meatier flavor. The bao had a good ratio of filling to bun, but I was not a big fan of the fillings. The vegetable filling could have used some preserved veggies or vinegar for tartness and more seasoning. They also used a dumpling-style filling for the pork and beef baos, which results in a solid meatball inside. I prefer bao to be filled with a chopped and saucy filing like eg Mei Lai Wah since it's easier to get some filling in each bite of the bun that way. read more

This is some legitimately good stuff. So grateful for this place - excellent quality, no fuss, always delicious.

Tried their baos as takeout and it was phenomenal. The soup dumplings stuck together a little bit after a while so make sure to separate them as soon as you get them. i got the mushroom pork dumplings, vegetable dumplings, and crab soup dumplings. Ate them so fast because they looked so goddamn tasty I forgot to take a picture. 10/10 would order again read more

Everything was amazing. I am so happy that I have found a go to spot for soup dumplings here in Brooklyn. The popcorn chicken and other dishes we tried were also quite good. I will definitely return for some more takeout. read more

Have waited for this place to open for weeks! I'm so excited that now I don't have to go to Chinatown for authentic shanghainese cuisine when there's a decent soup dumpling place in my neighborhood. I ordered pan fired dumplings, soup dumplings and boiled dumplings with my friends for takeouts. Everything was so delicious! This place is a gem! Absolutely love it! read more

Really nice addition to the PS neighborhood. Think Chinatown meets Park Slope Parents. Clean, well made food kids and adults will devour

10 stars!!! Seriously. I've tried all the dumplings and bao, the fried chicken, the cucumbers, and the green beans. Everything is delicious. Nice packaging too. I am so happy to finally have a great dumpling spot in the neighborhood, I wish them much prosperity and a looooong life in the slope!!! read more

Their soup dumplings are some of the best I've had in the five boroughs. Shanghai Cafe Deluxe in Manhattan was my favorite but I've been looking for a substitute since they were shut down and Mr. Bao surpasses Shanghai Cafe, which is hard to do when it's delivery but I've gotta say, Mr. Bao rocks! read more

Just found my new spot for my dumpling cravings. I happened upon this dumpling spot by chance and discovered they had just opened. Their soup dumplings and bao is just as good or even better than what you can find in Chinatown or flushing. Love this place! read more

Great selection of bao. Beef and onion with touch of curry is personal favorite, but so many other great ones. Yum yum yum. Go get yourself some! read more

Best pork dumplings I have ever eaten. Service was fast, reasonably price and absolutely delicious

The bao was an interesting place I found on yelp in the area near the rock climbing spot I wanted to go. The place opens in the afternoon and got there before they openned and got the best spot in the outdoor seating. The food was good and fast service the outside seating was cute. Cool asian spot for a quick bite. read more

Got regular soup dumplings and pan-fried soup dumplings. The regular soup dumplings were okay but nothing special. The pan-fried soup dumplings were very doughy and not super flavorful. read more

I'm seriously impressed with this place. The baos and dumplings are simply divine. We ordered the pork baos and the beef baos. The pork baos were super juicy and perfectly seasoned. The fluffy exterior was perfect with its delicious center. The beef baos were also equally juicy and flavorful. It's interesting that the bao is black. I'm not sure what they use to give it that color, but it is fun and tasty. We also got the pan fried pork and chive dumplings. Definitely more delicious than your standard 4 for $1.50 dumpling spots in the city. I really want to try the other dumplings and the rice bowl here. This may be a new frequent spot! read more

One of the best soup dumpling place in 5th ave park slope , order at least twice a week ! You can not go wrong with any dish you order there ,it is so damn good every time. It is honestly one of my all time favorite restaurants . The service was also great . Love it ! read more

Stopped by lunch over the weekend with some friends. Food is honestly so fresh. We had the blue crab steam dumpling, Shumai and the braise short rib. Everything was clean and the workers were following safety precautions so that's a plus too! Would definitely stop by again! read more

Great dumplings and baos , outdoor backyard seating. They have a bunch of vegetarian options to try as well! I also really liked the fried shrimp. I have enjoyed each time I've gone. read more

YUM! This place is a great addition to the neighborhood, especially during the pandemic. I order take out and all the food seem to be made on demand because it was hot and fresh (of course the dumplings are made before hand but steamed or pan fried as needed). The variety is great! Nice to find soup dumplings locally. read more

This place gave me a bad tummy. The cashier does not speak English. Or maybe just doesn't understand. Or maybe just doesn't care if one of her customers is gluten-free. And my friend's order got taken down wrong and they refused to change it. I guess they probably just don't care. read more

Honestly, thank god for this place. Great simple food that is fast, great for take out, authentic and delicious. My only critique is the mushroom salad could be heavier ginger vs. garlic, but that is splitting hairs on a luxury problem. read more

Yum!! I came here twice already. Second time the soup dumplings were even better. I also ordered the popcorn chicken and the pork belly rice bowl with black mushroom ears. All very tasty and I thought the prices were good too. read more

Superb! We've ordered out a few times from this place during the pandemic. It's really surprising that there's such fresh delicious and authentic dumplings and baozi outside of Chinatown. Chinatown quality and price, but in park slope. Everything we ordered was great, highly recommended! read more
