Honestly, I've lost count of how many times I've used Moving Pro Inc., which should tell you everything you need to know. I keep coming back to them because they make the process completely seamless. Most recently, they handled my move from San Francisco down to Los Angeles last month. It was a bit more complex because I needed them to put my things in storage first, and they handled that transition perfectly. When I was finally ready to get into my permanent place, they made the move-in part just as easy. It's such a relief to work with a team that actually shows up on time, handles your stuff with care, and stays professional the whole way through. This will hopefully be my last review of Moving Pro because hopeful I am done moving. I think I have used Vicky, Haim and Sergio about five or six times now. The crazy part is that I stopped even getting competing bids after the first time. There is no way I would use anyone else. Below I've listed their pros and why I would want to give them 10 stars: Pros: Small family owned company (not a brokerage): We knew a move from SoCal to Salt Lake City, Utah would not be easy. But the minute I spoke to Vicky on the phone I had this feeling we were in good hands. Affordable and have integrity: She sent her husband Haim to do a physical evaluation of all our stuff and based on that give us an accurate quote. The price was affordable but more than that I could sense that this was a company that would have integrity and truly care about getting us moved out and into our new house with as little stress as possible. Extra large 18 wheeler so don't have to worry if all your stuff will fit: We had an oversized four bedroom house with a large garage full of large wood working equipment and tools, a shed and two outdoor patio areas with heavy furniture. They were one of the few movers who offered an 18 wheeler (at an affordable cost). That way we didn't have to stress about if our stuff would fit in two 24 ft trucks (which is what all the other movers were offering). They bring plenty of guys to help make moving day go by as fast as possible: they don't skimp on how many movers show up in the state you are moving from to the state you are moving to. Our new home is 3 storeys. Man, oh man, these guys had their work cut out for them. Between a 4 man crew and the owner Haim and his son, they finished the job in optimum time and even removed all the shrink wrap, packing tape and put back together all our beds and larger furniture. They were incredibly efficient and had a smile on their face even as they carried heavy furniture to the third floor. Where can I start? After much research and due diligence in searching for a proper moving company, (and a LOT of prayers!), I came across the Moving Pro on Yelp and spoke with Vicky. I did not have much hope as I've contacted at least six different companies with varying rates and services. From the start Vicky was reassuring that she will "take good care of you" and in hindsight, those were not empty promises! I had a need to move my items from a storage unit to another unit, cross-country, and was nervous about not having my things brokered to multiple movers along the way. One thing I had going for me was flexibility in arrival of my belongings and it gave me comfort knowing that Vicky kept in communication with me during that waiting period. She was prompt in responding my questions and would text back multiple times a day, when needed. Sergio and Junior arrived to my storage in Burbank and immediately got to work, I did provide them some local breakfast burritos from my favorite place, which they appreciated as we were starting early. Sergio assured me also that my belongings were in the best of care, a sense of pride in his work was apparent and his quiet but friendly attitude was well calming my nervousness. Junior was so organized and meticulously checked each box and labeled/listed on the Bill of Landing (descriptions and list of my items) and a packet of signing documents (that were provided by Vicky after an on-site, in person assessment). I had apparently underestimated the size of my storages (yes...two units in two locations!) but the initial estimate cost did not move much as Vicky did what she could to help me stay on my budget. After my things were carefully placed in the truck, I said farewell to my things and about a month and half later (I agreed to a slower delivery as I did have some flexibility on my end and yes, COVID-19, weather, all these things affected service), I welcomed my belongings with open arms. And while I was waiting, the destination location of the storage had to be changed, but Vicky didn't have an issue redirecting the moving truck. Once arrived, my belongings were transferred to a local mover they have worked with to bring it to the storage. The local company (White Glove Moving - see my review on them as well!) had a foreman Alex who match the kind of service I received via the Moving Pro! When each items were brought in, Alex would call out the number and I stood by to check them off each. I also observed the boxes for dents or damages (water, neglect, odd smells etc.) and thankfully didn't see anything alarming! And the wood furnitures that I had (which I erroneously wrapped in plastic - a no no!), I noticed when the blankets came off, they had removed the plastic, giving the wood an opportunity to breathe and not mold up. It was in these attention to details that I truly appreciated! This review doesn't do justice to the level of assurance and matching quality of service I received from Vicky (thank you sincerely!) and the Moving Pro team! But once my belongings were in transit, things moved along only exchanged hands once when it arrive in the East Coast, where it was entrusted to a local company they knew to complete the move. PRICE: Price is competitive and on-par with other rates; however, they were the most affordable based on all the additional services I was being charged for by other movers. Loved the whole team!!! Haim moved us from two different residences across town in LA all the way to Boise in a flash. We are talking a few days. Everyone else we called said it would take two to four weeks from pack time to move time and they couldn't guarantee any amount of days. Sergio and his son and nephew packed my beloved mid century furniture up so nicely and moved it up my narrow brick stairway. Even a giant heavy photo enlarger. I also had a dressers, desk and bed in a loft accessed by a small ladder and they somehow got everything down and into the truck without so much as a nick on it. It's close to a miracle, really. I had mirrors, framed artwork, glass shelves. Everything was treated with so much care and made it to Boise safely. Vicky worked with us on our quote and was always friendly, caring and always told us what we could expect with regard to communication. Doing business with these folks really feels personal. What can I say...they were like having family. From the beginning they were extremely professional and on time. We had watched them move our friends the year before start to finish and they were incredible. After that experience we knew who we were calling for our move from California to Idaho. We had 2 locations to pick up from and tons of stairs but they remained fair on their price. They even moved one of our vehicles. A Tahoe ! They were in constant communication with us and always letting us know what would happen next. Once they arrived the unloading was smooth. They didn't break a thing! We did accidentally leave a box on the truck and they called me immediately and had it shipped overnight! The owner of the company drove the truck and we ended up taking him out to dinner after because we were so grateful. I called Moving Pro Inc with some general questions. I have family moving from Virginia to California later this year. I spoke with Vicky, and she was sooo helpful. She went out of her way to give me all kinds of useful information, and answered all my questions. This was so nice of her, especially considering that I was not a paying customer. I think many other people would have just said, "Oh I can't help you, your family needs to call a mover in Virginia, bye." After suggesting my family members call local moving companies in VA, she gave me all kinds of very useful advice on how they could pick a good company and not end up using a broker. She told me that they should make sure the Booking Order and the Bill of Lading are under the same company name. She told me they should ask for their DOT# (Dept. of Transportation number), and that if the company gives them a MC# instead (Motor Carrier number), this means they are a broker. She also suggested Googling "saferweb snapshot" to check out any Virginia moving companies as well. Lastly she told me to call her back closer to the move date (which is many months from now), as she said they might be able to move my family if they have a truck in that area at the time my family wants to move. Next time I need someone to move me, I will definitely be calling this company. read more

Absolutely stellar experience with Moving Pro. They did a long distance pack and move for us with a lot of expensive and delicate music equipment. Not a single thing was damaged, communication with Vicki was fantastic, they were very organized, and our stuff arrived on time. Contrast this with experiences of several of my relatives who moved around the same time and used the big name companies, and they had awful experiences of stuff getting lost, being charged a lot more than quoted, and things arriving late. We'll absolutely use Moving Pro again if we come back to LA. Pros: - They can dissemble, pack, move, and reassemble - Very clear, timely communication - Nothing damaged or lost - They know how to pack delicate items - Very organized. Boxes are all labeled and listed, and they mark each one off as it's delivered to you - Our stuff arrived when they said it would - They charge exactly what they quote - Followed good COVID safety practices Cons: - They quote higher than some of the bigger companies, but my relatives who used the other companies ended up still paying more than us because the others will increase the charges after they load your stuff, when it's too late to back out. I think this is because all the other companies I got quotes from only gave quotes over the phone, and they all underestimated how much we had. Vicki and Haim saved me from a world of troubles with moving! I had about a week and a half to move from LA to SF. I spoke to a few moving companies in Santa Monica/Venice/Malibu/LA, and the only person I felt comfortable with was Vicki. I sent her a quote request on Yelp, and she responded very quickly. I called the number she provided, and we spoke for some time. On the same day, she and Haim visited my place and gave me a visual quote (I believe that's what it's called). They are very warm and caring. I could tell that they understood the amount of stress I was experiencing and assured to work with me on all fronts to make the move easy. As I found out about my job changes, they accommodated my new request and informed me about an option to store my stuff in a storage unit in LA since I didn't have a place in SF yet. They have a storage facility that they're contracted and were able to put my stuff in there while I was abroad (at a monthly price depending on the needs). I cannot stress enough how this option has made my life so much easier. This also allowed me to keep Moving Pros as an end-to-end moving company which made me very happy. I also paid to have my stuff packed by Haim and his team. The care they provided was unlike anything I've seen. You'd think they were packing their own belongings! His team was also very polite and professional which I truly appreciated. When it was finally time for my belongings to move to SF, the process was smooth and easy. I coordinated with Vicki about two weeks prior and got the date I wanted. They are very flexible with this so you can always discuss with them. I chose two weeks because that worked better for my schedule. I feel incredibly blessed to have met Vicki and Haim. They are 100% transparent and professional. They are also very kind and understanding which was very surprising but appreciated. I say this because most people just treat it as a business. The skinny: Moving Pro (for a family business) is the TOP TIER for your long distance and relocation needs - PERIOD. A relocation can be one of the most event-filled and overwhelmingly stressful experiences a person (let alone a professionally busy married couple) can ever endure in their entire lives. My wife and I recently closed up over 25-years of our lives in Southern California and made the move to North Idaho. When you witness all of your precious belongings of your home - packed and loaded onto a truck - and then watch that truck drive away...the most awkward feeling rushes over you, prompting you to say to yourself: "everything I own is in that truck." That being said...I feel I cannot stress enough the QUALITY of care, organization, service and sheer professionalism that Haim, Vicky, Mila and the entire staff and crews at Moving Pro provided. In my opinion, these people are second-to-none for your moving and relocation needs and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use them again in the future. I have worked in the television news business for two decades, and have done plenty of stories about businesses that try to cut corners with costs, duties, timelines and promises. We were still on the fence with "big company vs. family business" ...until Moving Pro owners Haim and his wife Vicky came to our home on a Saturday to visually verify that the packing inventory list and freight sizes were correct. They were positive, energetic and INSTANTLY put to ease our nervousness with our belongings (my wife has family antiques passed down several generations - not to mention, her delicate custom art pieces.) We were sold on their professionalism as well as their positive energy. We contracted for the full-service pack and move, and even though I was told "we will pack it all" I still felt like I had to pack the most precious items to ensure that it would arrived in our new home unscathed. After a few calls to Haim on how to properly pack personal items...moving day came - as scheduled. Haim was at the door early with his crackerjack crew: Humberto Espinoza, Ismael Beltran, Rafa Lopez, Sergio Lopez Jr. and the very skilled, proud and positive Sergio Lopez Senior. These guys move through your home like a whirlwind - packing, numbering, itemizing and staging your boxes and items to be loaded (and meticulously secured) on one of Haim's trucks. They pack with care, wrap everything well, and even ask when their is a question on just what goes where. Special note goes to Sergio...this man would even occasionally walk over to you and put you at ease detailing HOW he packed and secured a fragile item before loading. After packing an entire three-bedroom home with garage storage and a workshop. Haim and his crew proudly took pictures of the final moments at our old home. We were touched. (NOTE: It speaks volumes when a business owner backs up his work and features himself in all the pictures. That to me is a simple expression of pride, transparency, and a special sense of duty. Haim is a consummate professional.) We were given a time-frame of delivery to our new North Idaho home. Not only did Haim check in with us along the route via calls an texts...he arrived the very morning after we did. He is mindful of weather and road conditions, and his overall well-being to not promise anything he could not deliver on. Haim and his rig arrived with his local Pacific Northwest crew: Guy, Sam, Larry and Alex. We shook hands on a safe travel well-done...and then they got to work. I stood and checked off numbered and itemized boxes to go in the rooms assigned as Haim began to set up the larger items in your new home. His crews were also positive and welcoming and took great care offloading everything. EVERYBODY who has ever relocated has said the same thing: "just accept - SOMETHING is gonna get broken during a big move." But nothing did - not a single thing was broken. Once ALL items were checked off and located. We proudly shook hands and said farewell. I was emotionally humbled and even teared up a bit reflecting on just how well we were taken care of. Their communication is perfection, they are incredibly accommodating, take pride in their work and do not stop until you tell them too. We did a cross country move during a pandemic and like every move there were a lot of moving parts. This company rolled with the punches with us, eased our anxiety that at least everything on their end would be covered, and it was from start to finish. Vicky, Haim, and co moved us from the Bay Area to TX, and we had a great experience. They got the job done quickly (five days door-to-door, when other moving companies were estimating 3-4 weeks) and everything arrived in good condition. Some highlights: -- As a family-owned business, they're easy to get ahold of and communicate with. We could text Vicky whenever. -- They packed everything for us, extra safely and thoroughly. They individually wrapped a TON of stuff, from dishware all the way down to pill bottles. :) They seem generous about offering out-of-pocket reimbursements in case something smaller manages to get damaged, too, even though they're not required to do that. -- They could've charged us WAY more than they did based on the contract, because our apartment complex requires a lot of walking to/from the truck; but they cut us a generous discount. Saved us at least $1000 that they rightfully could've charged. -- Haim was there both on pickup and delivery and he remembered the layout of a lot of rooms and some care details (e.g. that our dining table has a nonobvious layer of glass and to be extra careful with it). Made for a very personal experience that we probably couldn't have replicated with a "big" company. -- We had a minor snafu where one box got mixed up and was delivered to a different client, but Haim went hours out of his way to drive back out there, pick it up, and personally drop it off to us. (Before it was located, they offered to reimburse us for it beyond what basic insurance would've covered.) Great experience--would definitely recommend to others! read more

Ok, if you need movers - this is your crew. They moved me from LA to NY----- On time and with beautiful spirits at every turn!!! They are a dream from start to finish. I felt like I had my family moving me at every step of the way. First, they make certain that the quote is guaranteed and Vicki triple checks that you understand anything that would make the quote different- Highly unlikely as you have spoken to her a few times and gone over the contract and the process with a fine tooth comb. Next, Haim and Sergio and their team pack your things like it's their own belongings.. I mean they are masters. and they are sweet and generous and cool and also a beautiful family. It's difficult to trust moving companies because you have no idea what the business is about. These beautiful people made it feel like a dream. I had done a bunch of research for a cross country move from Southern California to Boston and found Moving Pros online and noticed they had outstanding reviews! I saw they were family owned and operated and saw wonderful pictures of various moves they had made for different clients. They just seemed like really good people! I got in touch with Vicky and because we were only moving a one-bedroom apartment all the way across the country, it was going to take some work to make it happen. When Vicky said she'd work on it, she meant it! It took only a few phone calls and we locked everything in! Fast-forward to the day of the move and Haim, Sergio and Jr were fantastic! My husband and I had packed everything ourselves (much was in storage from a previous move) and the crew quickly and efficiently repacked things that needed it to sustain a cross-country trip, (they told us in advance that they would do it if necessary). Hubby and I drove our car to Boston and Vicky kept in touch with me along the way to let us know how the driver was doing with timing. He actually had to pick up a load in the Bay Area after our house before driving across the country. Our new street is very narrow and we knew the big trailer could not do the delivery so all of our items were transferred to a shuttle before being brought here. The driver and his crew were also incredible! It was the hottest, most humid day here in Boston and we did not have AC for our 3rd floor unit, (we bought an AC right after that). We felt so bad for the crew but we made sure to have plenty of cold waters, bananas and string cheeses. Everything was such a smooth process. They seriously were amazing! Not one scratch on anything! I would HIGHLY recommend Moving Pros to anyone! They were a breath of fresh air to do business with! I already have a family friend who is going to be calling them for a big move in the near future. Expert moving professionals. Made our cross country moving experience so much less stressful! My fiancee and I were moving from Los Angeles to Vermont during the pandemic on tight timelines. This family-run business in LA really stepped up and made sure every part of the move was smoothly coordinate. The packers came in and got our LA apartment and storage unit packed up so quickly. Watching them pack, I was impressed by how they diligently wrapped everything for protection while keeping it condensed. Our belongings took up way less space than if we'd done the packing ourselves, that's for sure. Every box was packed with a tracking system, which is the inventory system they check against when dropped off to make sure everything is received. What sticks out to me most about Moving Pro is how much they care, they make sure the customer is taken care of start to finish. It's not some sales pitch, and then they turn on you when they have all your stuff and then try to pull a fast one up-charging you. I know more moving stories like this than positive ones.
