The main item I was concerned about was a large, very heavy, high-end leather sofa that I thought could easily be damaged during moving. NO WORRIES! They encased the sofa to prevent any scratches to the surface. Whew! The delivery at the other end was timely, as was the unloading & associated paperwork. I recommend, and will use again when needed.

There was a minor snafu with the timing/scheduled pickup, but I don't care because these guys were…read moreamazing. They made it right and then some. This was a "half-move" -- we were moving from our temporary residence back into our home after a renovation, so we only had about a 15' U-Haul worth of stuff. This was just about perfect for Man with a Van. But the best part was the employees (I wish I had asked their names, but moving day left me scatterbrained) -- they were efficient, attentive, really went the extra effort in getting our stuff safely into our house, quickly disassembling a few pieces that were now too large to fit into our new doors (I got them out, and never thought there'd be such trouble getting them back in). I'd say combine that great service with the competitive pricing, and this is the company for your move assist/small move/hauling project. Just really great guys who, in my mind, made some magic happen on a really stressful day.

Alfredo is smart, resourceful, flexible, reliable, and he and his colleague tackled the work professionally and efficiently. The gentlemen both wearing their masks throughout the move was impressive. We just finished our first day of driving a 15 ft box-truck to Texas which Alfredo loaded and secured; nothing shifted across 200miles! I got the feeling that no matter what we might need done, Alfredo would have had a solution, or have called someone who could help. Whether you ultimately work with Alfredo or not, I'd definitely at least take a bid from him on whatever you need getting done. I'm confident that he'll soon be in touch.

Long story short, I needed a heavy mattress and box spring removed from my 2 story home. I have recently injured my back so I needed to find someone who could come get it from upstairs, and haul it away. After calling several other local companies for quotes, I felt like I was being treated like "small fish" and not worth their time or courtesy. That all changed when I found Move Time, and spoke with Rodney. He was friendly and courteous from the first call we had, and was able to help me out within 1 day of initial contact. He kept me up to date with his ETA to my house, and arrived right on time. Rodney was extremely polite and respectful of my home. Everything was removed with care, and precaution. I realize that this review is based off of a seemingly simple service, but Move Time has a life long customer in me, if I'm EVER in need of services they provide. Thank you Rodney!

They packed everything, nothing was damaged, and she was extremely happy with their service. Fast forward to 2026. We lived in Simi Valley and were moving to Minden, NV. We knew we wanted Mammoth. Originally spoke to Walter who was knowledgeable and patient. He said it would cost more since they had to come down to Simi, which we appreciated knowing, but we had our minds made up. Didn't even call another company for an estimate. Walter came down to assess our stuff (and we had a lot of stuff!) in order to give an accurate quote. And he was prompt when answering texts with questions I had. On moving day, Walter called to let us know when to expect the movers. Upon their arrival, they introduced themselves, were friendly, polite, and clean, effectively wrapped and packed the items we hadn't already packed, and nicely said their good-byes upon leaving. Walter called afterward to make sure we were happy. On deliver day, Walter texted, and the driver (whom we met in Simi) called, to let us know his estimated arrival time. The rest of the crew was hired from up here, and they, too, were friendly, polite, and clean. Upon completion, each one sought us out to say good-bye. I've unpacked about 3/4 of the boxes and so far, all items were delivered unscathed. I'd heard horror stories about moving companies and movers, but I can confidently say that is not our story. From the quote, to the packing, ending with the delivery, they were professional, communicative, and caring. I wholeheartedly recommend Mammoth Moving & Storage.

I have used this company before for a move and they were great, unfortunately the second time it's…read morebeen a horrible. I reached out to them back in June to schedule their services for our upcoming move August 1st. Sam went over pricing, return customer discounts etc and we emailed back and forth several times. He collected the move details (even had me select a time window for the move etc) and I asked over and over to let me know what else is needed to confirm our move and he sent me a question form asking additional details which I sent back to him and that was that. Flash forward to yesterday, I had reached out to confirm our move after looking back in my emails from the last time we used them and seeing they had sent me an official confirm and confirm number (none of which Sam sent me) to make sure I was good to go. Of course, as I feared they did not have my reservation even though I emailed Sam multiple times asking if anything else was needed to confirm our reservation. I was told by the gentlemen on the phone that Sam would be contacting me to sort this out and that because I didn't pay a deposit (a deposit I was never asked for by the way, how am I supposed to know as the customer that a deposit is what he needed to put me on their calendar if he didn't freaking tell me that) that they were all booked up and would most likely not be able to move us. I called them and emailed them all day (I was told managers, owners etc would be calling me to figure out options and help and not one person ever called me back) I had to call them every time and was ping ponged around and given "call back in an hour" over and over. So I called end of day at 5 (they close at 7) and their phones were shut off... and have been off still up until this point and not a single response to any of my emails. Btw we booked movers because I am recovering from breaking 5 bones in my foot and would not be able to move our stuff safely with a half broken foot. So now here we are 4 days from our move with zero help or resolution or options from this company, never heard from a single manager or the owner like I was told I would, and had to scramble to book a moving truck ourselves and will have to move my house with a broken foot because of their lack of follow up and scheduling error. We reached out to other movers in the area all of which, of course , are booked since this is so last minute which is really upsetting. Also, I noticed after calling them all day yesterday and today, they managed to change their address on yelp and their website to reflect Glendale CA when it said Pleasant hill CA (and are a Bay Area company) between the Time we booked in June and yesterday while I was playing phone tag with their employees. Not sure what that's all about. I understand times are hard right now but I received ZERO customer service, answers to my questions, or a resolution or options to make this right as I have an email thread with Sam confirming my reservation and the error of not having it on calendar or a deposit collected was their fault not mine. Their quality of service has gone downhill and seriously declined from the first time we used them to today. Horrible way to treat someone who was calm and nice considering the situation and just asking for their help figuring out a way to make things work. Unreal.
