I worked with Brandon over phone and in 15 minutes we had an extremely accurate billing amount for my particular short- notice move. They (Brandon and BJ) showed up on time and ready to work hard. I had 3 really heavy pieces of furniture- really heavy!- and these two young men moved those items with genuine care and expertise. I was truly impressed. All my items were loaded, transported across Muncie, and then moved upstairs (17 steps) in just over an hour start to finish. I'd called around with precise number of miles, number of items, etc and was getting estimates that I thought were entirely outrageous. Brandon charged me literally HALF of what others were asking. My move was two weeks ago. I have moved around a lot and I always had positive experiences. The companies are always friendly, have had excellent communication before, during, and after the move, the quotes are spot on, and they always ask and put my belongings where they should go, and I have always been super happy and have tipped big. This company showed up 25 minutes late, and I wasn't sure if they were going to come, and I didn't get a text or phone call, and when they did show up they did apologize. As soon as they got there they didn't have any tools to disassemble a bed and because I was packed I didn't have tools and movers have never asked me for tools in the past. I had to call my brother who lives 15 minutes away to bring tools. I was moving from my mom's home to a home I just built. One of the guys went into my mother's bathroom, emptied a new role of toilet paper and walked out 20 minutes later reaking of marijuana and the bathroom smelled of that too. The head guy was left alone over and over again throughout the move. They took 50 minutes alone at my house to load a row of boxes, dresser and nightstand. My brother disassembled the bed for them because I didn't want to waste time so we went on to my storage unit and then came back for the bed. We drove 5 minutes up the road to the storage unit. The 10 by 10 storage unit went fine. Then we drove across the street to my newly built home. When we arrived at my house I told the guys that all of the boxes can go in my great room, and I'll show them where the furniture goes. Boxes were everywhere, the garage, entryway, the great room, and none of the furniture had been set up or placed in the correct places. They didn't talk to me or ask me where anything went during the entire move and at this rate, they were working several hours after the quote, and I wanted them out of my house. They seemed to both be extremely high. Both men disappeared into my master bathroom at different times for 15 to 20 minutes at a time, and it reaked again of marijuana, they walked incredibly slow the entire time. I had a coffee table flipped upside down with boxes on top of it. I couldn't find it for awhile after they left. They didn't assemble my guest bed or my master bed either. I told them to assemble my large bed bc I am pretty little and can't do it myself and I specified that I needed it done both when I asked for a quote and again when they initially arrived. When they said they were finished, I asked them if they could assemble my bed and that I asked them to do it in the moving quote and when they arrived. They rolled their eyes at me, went into the bedroom. They put my queen-sized large and heavy reclaimed wood bed together in the wrong place, were very careless on my new hardwood floors and new paint. They didn't screw anything in on the bed and threw the hardware underneath the bed so I couldn't find it. As they finished I received a new invoice for double the amount I was quoted. I tipped them 20 bucks each online, when I shouldn't have tipped them at all, but I was afraid they would retaliate because they asked me for their tips on the way out the door. Overall, the move took twice as long, the two men disappeared multiple times, and were as high as could be. I should have paid two men and a truck or did the move myself. I have never seen such unprofessional movers and I was charged double the quote because of them being high, lazy, slow, and not working while on the job. They also rolled their eyes at my 82 year old mother and acted as if we inconvenienced them. I don't mind paying the initial $345, but to be charged double for their lack of effort and being on drugs is unacceptable. I called and talked to the owner that day and then followed up in an email a few days later. He told me the movers would be fired and once the payment from square was finalized from their end they would make sure I would be priority and be reimbursed for a part of the move. A week and a half went by and I messaged them to follow up and several more days have gone by without a return message. read more

I hired this company through U-Haul for my move. I was not contacted by them as uhaul had told me, I had to call them and I was told they were given the wrong phone number. We set up an arrival time ​for 9:30a​m. They didn't show up until 11:30, 2 hrs late and I had help waiting on Indiana based on the time I was given. When I called her said they were running "a little behind, they got a late start". At 10:30 I called and was told they were STILL 45 min out. I called the owner to see if they would offer some kind of discount for being 2 hours late causing my help in Indiana to be delayed by 2 hours. He was very rude and said I was trying to get out of paying him, which I was not, I had paid U-Haul already. He said if I didn't give him the payment code he would call the police. My instructions from uhaul said not to give them the payment code until the job was complete AND I was satisfied. I was NOT satisfied as his delay cost my time as well as others. His labor said they were told 10:30. When I got off the phone with him he followed with the attached text to me. Beware of this company for sure. I have never left a review before but I wanted to save someone else from getting threatened and ripped off. read more
