This furniture had no sentimental value and was not worth $1,200; I simply wanted to utilize something I already had as I do not like to shop. TJ's Services arrived for the pickup and delivered on time. They were very courteous and did a very nice job. I would not hesitate to contact them again if I had any other moving needs.

Hired ABF to do a "self-move" from Louisville, KY to the Fort Wayne / Whitley County area. The…read morefirst part of the move went great, so expectations were high on the receiving end. Thankfully, these expectations were met. The person I called about delivery of the trailer was very helpful and they DO call as they say they will when the driver is on the way. The driver was excellent at spotting the trailer where we needed it to be, in spite of having to back up a drive that is about 250 feet long with lots of curves and uphill. We had packed the truck using the bulkheads that lock into the sides of the trailer and getting them out is NOT easy. They have another type of trailer, do yourself a favor and ask for them, easier to lock in place and remove. Due to the professional packers being used at the origin, when the bulkhead was removed, there was no slippage of our possessions and everything arrived in the same condition as was loaded. Whew! Plan on using ABF when we move the remainder of our possessions, we are sold on them. BTW: They take the "YELP coupon" and take $50 off the rental cost when you call them.

It takes a lot of effort to get your stuff packed, to get them moved, start a new life, buy and fix up your new house... and doing it right before a major pandemic hit... made the situation all the much harder. Thankfully, I did find some great companies to help me. Finding myself in Ohio, starting a new job while living at a Holiday Inn and sharing a room with two other family members is not ideal. I wanted out of that as soon as possible. When I was looking for a moving company to pick my stuff up from storage in Miami and bring it up to my new place in Ohio... I was overwhelmed with choices but I was nervous. I had seen and heard of a lot of disreputable companies that take advantage of movers... disappearing with their stuff. I was told by my boss to try Celina Moving and Storage as they are a very reputable company. Definitely glad I chose them. The person who scheduled me patiently helped me thru the process and was able to squeeze me in to their busy schedule to make sure I would have my furniture within a day of getting my new house. They went down to Miami and got my stuff and delivered it to my new home in Van Wert, OH on a very frigid Feb 14... when the temperature high that day was 18 degrees with a low of 6! Yes, there was a Greek column that was delivered damaged... but that was a cheap to replace. Everything else and it was a lot of stuff including some expensive furniture and other items arrived in my house with no problem at all. i am happy I trusted this company as my worldly possessions where quickly and efficiently unpacked and put into my beautiful new home... especially since they did it on such a cold day! They verify that that driver was there but still don't really think they caused the damage because the driver said he didn't hit my van. Said I could be making this up! I'm not. Just want my van fixed because his van hit it and drove off. The officer called the company and the company waited until late in the day to call him back so the driver was gone before the cops could show. Oh. And Rob, the owner, told the cop the same thing. That how does he know that I'm not just trying to pin damage on him? Well, I'M NOT. So if they are willing to lie about that, then good luck having them pay for any damage to your household goods because they'll just come back and say you did it. Think twice before using them. They aren't honest.
