I recommended this company to my parents who needed to move 6 miles in December 2021. Unfortunately, many of their irreplaceable family heirlooms were stolen in the move. I would not recommend them. read more

Our realtor referred MovHer and we are so happy she did! Lonnie was the coordinator who did a great job scheduling us in a hurry. A crew of 5 guys moved us out out of a 6 bdrm home, on fairly short notice and into our new place. They were very careful with all of our items, wrapping everything. They all had great attitudes, and worked hard. We had some heavy challenging pieces, which they took extra care with. Nothing was damaged, everything was put back together, and we're very happy with this experience. Great company! read more

Movher totally took the stress out of moving. I live in a historic home with steep stairs and my new home is even worse. I would never have been able to do it without their help. They protected every piece in blankets and not a single wall got dinged. Both men were super professional and made sure everything was just right before having me sign. Wow, can't believe moving could be a relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend them for moving. Also going to try their cleaning service since I'll be renting my old house. Five stars!!!!! read more

Finally bought that new house and had to move out of our rental house. Like everyone the search begins for the moving company that you hope is not going to come in bust your stuff, and proceed to overcharge you. Seriously, I have read or heard enough bad stores it is so difficult to find the right people!!!! So my search brought me to Movher, and I called Sabrina the owner for a quote. Sabrina got back to me that day and scheduled a time to come over for a walk through and quote. Now we had moved to the rental from a large move so had kept several boxs etc. Sabrina was a joy to meet and was very professional! She had no problem using the boxs we had and suggesting methods for us to save money! She didn't even blink at reusing stored packing material. We were quoted for both the packing and moving and overall it was very reasonable. Of course, as in all moves do expect that packing time pretty much is expensive as the moving portion. I have noticed this always to be the case. But, it was just great because clearly Sabrina presented what is and isn't expensive and was totally willing to taylor the move. I believe Sabrina started the company in 2010. She has a regular staff of guys, (some are football players from the local universities) to work with the move. Everyone was super professional and payed attention to detail!!!! If you didn't want them to use a hand truck inside...the don't. Whatever you want they really try to accommodate you. The packing was done well and they used all the boxes we had! She didn't charge us for one extra box. The move day itself went very smooth with really nothing broken...and unlike some of my other moves nothing missing!!!!!!!!!! Everyone was HONEST! PROFESSIONAL! No laziness or hour getting. I was really so impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did have one problem come up with a plastic runner that was put on the stairs to our new house. Unfortunately, it left behind a coat of adhesive on our hardwood floors. We freaked out thinking how will we ever clean this! We called Sabrina who came over personally and spent a day cleaning the adhesive off the wood. She even gave us $20 for the cleaning supplies we had bought to clean it ourselves when we first discovered the problem. All I can say is I wish 10% of companies I deal with were this honest and good!!!!!!!!!!! Sabrina runs a class act. There is no doubt that if you are moving you should call Movher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be so glad you did! I will now call them for anything I need from here on out! Simply the best in Spokane!!!!! read more

These guys & gal made my move a million times easier than it would have been. We moved across the state, and Scott came out to give us an estimate. He explained how the process would work, and how our move would be priced differently because of the distance we were moving. His estimate was extremely close, and slightly over what the weight ended up being. As I was packing, I had several questions, and he was very pleasant in responding to all of my questions. The movers were awesome and they did a great job! We had three guys back up to our garage and pack all of our apartment from the third floor in about 3 hours. After that, they took off because they were very limited by speed. They met us the next morning at the house, and had everything in the house in under 3 hours. All of them were very courteous and respectful of us and our homes. Now that everything is unpacked, I didn't find anything that was broken, so I'm sure they handled and packed everything with care. If I were still in the area and had to move again, I would absolutely choose Movher again! read more

We used Movher to unload our moving truck. The movers that showed up were incredible!! All of them (Wes, Dean, and Jacob) were incredibly efficient & definitely the friendliest movers I have ever dealt with! Great representatives for Movher! read more

I moved to the Spokane area from Wisconsin and needed assistance moving in to my new house. I hired Movher not knowing anything about them but I was in a crunch. We just wanted to share our positive experience with the service and people at Moveher. We asked them to move our daughter's stuff from her dorm room. They worked closely with us and they were responsive, kind and organized. They responded to text after hours. They make it work with no fuss and even volunteered to bring something back to the dorm that did not belong to our daughter. This business takes pride in what they do and do it well. Highly recommended. read more

We're a senior couple in our 70's, moving from a third floor apartment to a first floor, disability access apartment just a half-block away. We faced this move with a little trepidation, but after talking with MovHer, a very polite representative came to our home, gave us a quote, told us how to prepare for the move, and reassured us all would go well. On Moving Day, 5 (yes, 5) movers showed up with a big truck. They were all great (and very strong). Within 2 hours, EVERYTHING was in our new apartment. Each young man was so courteous. All our furniture and all our boxes were placed in the correct room, which made settling in so much easier. Thank you, MovHER. Our move was on November 2. We have already recommended you many times and can't think of moving again with you! Happy 2019. read more

In the past 8 years we have moved cross country five times (crazy job) and have used numerous moving and packing companies and hands down this company is the best. The actual costs came in lower than estimate, very prompt and hardworking staff. A very, very satisfied customer! read more

This was an excellent moving experience! I had a local move, My estimator was fair and accurate and stayed in constant contact and communication as I needed her. Just after my house sold I broke my foot and needed more help. MovHer was able to work me in, and on a tight schedule managed to get all the packing done. My packers were expert, did excellent work, made it look easy and were just plain incredible. The moving crew never stopped, were courteous and sweet and worked like super heroes. Okay these folks are great. I was in need of a last minute request. I called several companies and they were all booked. One of the other moving folks said they had heard nothing but good things about Movhers, so I tried them. They were booked too, but Sabrina said she'd take a shot at calling some of her people. In short, they were able to come. The two college guys were great. They were obviously trained, polite, helpful, hardworking, and pleasant. I also felt a good level of trust in them. I'm pretty sure I've never experienced that in a moving company before! The Movhers team also followed up to make sure the guys were there and afterward to see if they'd done a good job for me. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Dr. Gordon Watanabe read more

Horrible company! They gouged us! Andrew estimated the job at $1900. We agreed to the estimate and signed the document which had a clause that said they could charge us 125% above the estimate which was not verbally disclosed to us. The job was supposed to be 8 hours with two moving trucks. They showed up on July 12th at 9:00AM, with one truck. They were still at our house until 8:15PM, at which point they asked us if they could lock up our items in their truck at the yard and meet us at the drop off location at 9:00AM, we agreed. The next day after moving everything out of the truck they tried to charge us $4200 instead of the $1900 estimate. We disagreed and then they pointed out the 125% on the estimate and wanted us to sign the document. We refused! Horrible company!! I read more

Very disappointed. I had a realtor friend recommend Movher. So far, has not turned out well. First of all, they were 20% over budget - a bid they gave us twice. First day, one of the kids packing the garage was not getting anything done (even the lead guy acknowledged that the day following. Secondly, at the end of the second day following moving, the lead guy stood there with his tablet, and (along with two other workers standing there), brought up a screen asking for a tip. The tips would have been like $630 to start, all the way up to $1,890. Are you kidding me? And that was after he acknowledged the guy who did the bidding did not bid it well. Asking for a tip when he and others were standing there is wholly inappropriate -- designed I think to make you feel like a cheap bastard for not. Way out of line! Finally, I called the office and asked for one of the owners to call me to discuss all of this, and have still not heard back, even after I called again this week. I cannot recommend people who run a business like this. Terrible business practices to say the least. Stay away! read more

We chose to go with Movher for our move from Spokane Valley to downtown Spokane. Andrew came round to give us an estimate - he is extremely nice and very professional. I was given less than a month to move out of my apartment and was having a terrible time finding a company that moved and cleaned and I finally found Movher. They loaded all my stuff and took it to my new place and unloaded it in under two hours and then the lovely ladies came and cleaned my old apartment til it was spotless and let me tell you it was super soft before. I can never thank them enough for the wonderful fast job they did and the great team they have put together . I will never use another service again . Why pay for a mover a cleaner a loader and a driver all separately when you can go with one great company movher! Thank you thank you thank you moveher I can finally relax :) read more

They talk a good game, but in the end, they do not back up their reputation. Inexperienced college students will show up, slack off, and not know how to package or properly stack things for storage or moving long distances. They say they train their staff, but I would NOT hire them. The majority of our furniture got damaged because they did not properly pack. read more

Excellent team with great prices. They were very flexible with us and allowed us to add furniture to the original bid. Super helpful!

Movhers moved us twice with many 100 year old antiques. They took excellent care of our home and items.

Don't read a book by its cover. This company may comes across as professional however they hire only college students, not professional movers, and then when there's damage done to your home (brand-new never been lived in Home) or to your furniture they state that you should have bought "insurance" --even though when asked if I should buy insurance I was told "no, there's no need" by their employee who came out to give me a bid. Extremely poor communication within this company. I had 3 1/2 long week ordeal trying to come to a decent resolution on damages to my brand new home and several pieces of furniture. Basically I ended up giving up on a reasonable resolution and in turn will spread the word of this poor service to all those who seek an opinion, so that they are not blindsided by this unprofessional and amateur business. This business is run by emotional females that treat people rudely and are not worth your time or money. If you want your things moved by college students - go to Whitworth and hire some, because "Movher" certainly does not stand behind what they state in their company; If you can even call it that. read more

We've moved with professional movers several times, and I obtained estimates from 2 companies (including Movher) for this local move in Spokane County. Both estimators were professional, prepared and effective, and the estimates were within 10% of each other. Note to people with prior moving experience - technology has changed, and the moving business is keeping up, so expect e-signatures and emailed documents as part of your experience. We chose Movher because we liked their web and social presence, we wanted to reward a more locally based business, and everyone looked like they have fun doing their job. It also helped that our estimator, Heather, was quick to reply to our many questions. She arranged for us to pick up some boxes in advance so we could have our main closet and a few other items packed and ready to go. We needed to make an up-front deposit to schedule the move, which was applied to the total bill at the end. Packing day arrived and it was pouring down rain! The packing team (Rebecca, Diane, and Pat) arrived at the planned time and took extra care to keep our old home cleaner by staging their packing materials in our dry garage. It took less time than estimated to pack up our many little items. Due to a communications mix-up, they had not brought any picture cartons, and we have many large framed pictures. The team quickly contacted Heather, who re-organized her day to bring the needed cartons. Fortunately for everyone, moving day was bright and sunny. The moving team (Andrew, Martin, Wade, and Nick) arrived at the planned time and we first reviewed the items and boxes to be moved. They laid out their protective mats and gear and immediately set to work packing the truck with our household goods. They used more protective mats and padding than we've seen on previous moves, and they were very careful not to damage anything. We have both a safe and a treadmill, and the photos on Yelp give you a good idea just what moving these items is like. They had no trouble with either, just like in the photos, and they had to navigate a tricky stairwell with a 180 degree turn to get the treadmill in its final location. Everyone on the team was calm and pleasant during the entire move, and willingly relocated some furniture that was not quite in the right place. Nick also reassembled our reclining sofa. At the end, we walked through the new house to make sure everything was where we wanted it before they left. A brief moment of concern arose when we could not find a lamp part, and the entire team set to work looking through the used packing/wrapping materials. Fortunately the part was found still attached to the lampshade, and the alert was called off. At the close of the day Andrew tallied up the Bill of Lading and reviewed it with us. It matched the hours and materials in our accounting, and payment was simply accomplished with a credit card. We even had an opportunity to add a tip for both teams to the total. Our unpacking went quickly during the following week, and we have found no broken or missing items, and every box was positioned where we could easily put away all items once unpacked (especially in the kitchen). We were even able to turn in our used moving boxes to Movher for recycling on another move. All told, this was a very satisfying experience, and we have already agreed that we'll be calling Movher again for our next move (especially if we have to move that treadmill again!). Thanks, everyone, for a low-stress and friendly move! read more

I booked Movher for Memorial Day Weekend and no surprise they were pretty booked out for the weekend. However they still reassured me that they could assist me in moving and sent someone out for a moving estimate. Since I lived in a small 1 bedroom apartment and really only needed help moving my bedroom set and couch, they scheduled me at 9:00am on Saturday before any of their other moves. A few days later I received an email asking if they could reschedule the move for 4:00pm on Saturday. Having nothing else planned for the day, I told them that was fine and rescheduled the pickup for my U-Haul for 3:30pm instead of earlier that morning. A few days later, again I received another e-mail asking if they could change the move to 1 or 1:30pm on Saturday due to "some shifting". I informed Movher that I had already rescheduled my U-Haul so 1:00pm wouldn't work. I then received a follow-up email stating that the crew "MIGHT" still be able to come at 4:30 but it could be as late as 6:00pm. At this point, I was fed up with the company's inconsistency and the stress they were causing me. Ultimately I cancelled with Movher and contacted another moving company to assist me with my move and had a wonderful experience - with no last minute changes. Moral of the story, be prepared to be very, VERY flexible if you book with Movher. I tried to be as flexible as I could with them and really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately in the end it didn't end up working out. I know their time is valuable but my time is equally as valuable and I didn't feel as though they made me a priority. At the end of it all, they apologized "for the confusion". Not really sure what they were confused about, but there was no confusion whatsoever on my end. I will say, however, they have excellent customer service. I was in constant communication with reps via telephone and email. read more

I have used MovHer twice -- once to move in to an office downtown, then a year later to move out of that office and into another a block away. Both times were hot, and my desk is awkward and enormous, and the teams were so wonderful anyway! I would give this moving service zero stars if I could; do not use them! They will scratch or break all of your furniture and ding your walls up moving it in and out. They use college students and other such cheap labor to move you, and it is simply not worth the difference it'll cost to hire people who are experienced movers. We had them move most of the large pieces of furniture that we couldn't lift ourselves from our 5000+sqft house only 4 miles up the road to our new house, and ended up with three scratched wood pieces, a non-functioning grandfather clock, a broken mechanism in a la-z-boy sofa, and a broken large Pier 1 shelf unit that is not repairable; they broke the screws off in the wood. Thank goodness we moved all the small stuff and our LED TVs ourselves, else we'd have lost a whole lot more. I would not recommend these people to anyone who values their possessions. read more
