The woman was extremely rude to my 70 year old mother and literally told her she should read the small print online next time. She told her that a truck reservation does not mean you are guaranteed a truck when you get there. I am astounded at the horrible service and seriously, why are you taking on line truck reservations if you have no truck available? Never use this company! Especially this location.

We were told all was well for 9am pickup. Arrived at 9am. Waited 1-1/2 hours at their location for truck which was NOT ready. Then we were instructed we had to drive all the way to Spokane Valley (not anywhere even close to pickup location) to get the car dolly/trailer. Don't rent from this location if you like to be on schedule. Awful customer service and very unprofessional. Ruined our schedule for moving our things that day as we were on a timeline. Stay away from Budget Truck rental on N Division in Spokane Washington. I'm not sure if this is how Budget conducts business at all their truck rental locations. If so, they need to get their "stuff" together or close shop. Plenty of other places to rent from.

As one ways are…read moresignificantly higher daily rates, we did a 1 day, 1 way & turned the car in at GEG, where we picked up a different car for our local stay. Dropping off the 1 way was a breeze & I had the emailed receipt before hitting the counter to pick up the other car. Picking up the other car wasn't as easy as it has been at other locations. The staff we worked with seemed annoyed that there were customers at all. There was some confusion over the online check-in, repetitive questions met with attitude on answering and a hard push for the insurance, implying I wasn't covered by both my regular insurance company and my credit card (I am... I have rental coverage & have never had to debate it in all my years of renting cars.) Once we had the car, we were happy with the rental &, again, return service was great. All in all, the pros outweighed the cons & we'd rent here again. Construction has the car are rental area congested. It's possible this was part of the agent crankiness.

The company knows how many reservations they have, how many cars they need so making people wait for over an hour is just not right. The manager said they were short staffed which everyone understands work on solving that issue and do not make it your customer's problem there is nothing we can do to ensure you have adequate staff we just pay our bill or advise people in advance that there will be a delay.

Well intentioned, attractive young staff here in an office that is closed Sundays. We were told…read morewe'd be renting an economical Toyota Corolla but "at no additional charge" (except loss of 5+ miles per gallon fuel economy), a full-size VW Passat awaited us. The car smelled like a motel room converted from smoking to non-smoking by way of cleaning products. The interior windows had a film that made viewing through the windshield problematic if the sun was shining in. The windshield wipers must have been the original ones but after 57,000 miles sorely needed replacing. Both of these things are mentioned because they're safety issues. But that's only the car. It was trying to return the car that proved something of a fiasco. The young fellow who checked us in Thursday 8/4 and showed us the vehicle confirmed what he'd told us by phone; that we'd have to return the car to the downtown location on Sunday; fine. He provided the address and directions to that location. Great! Problem is (as we learned Sunday).. that location too is closed Sunday. Notes on the door of that location said they were open Sunday until 2:00, but a second note said they were no longer open Sunday and that cars could NOT be returned there. Two phone numbers were provided; one for the Spokane Valley location and the other for the airport (GEG). Neither of those numbers picked up, although we listened to recordings explaining how important our business was to Enterprise and their cleaning protocols for Covid. One of the prompts told us to leave a message (Spokane Valley) and the other (after 12 minutes) suggested we "call back later". We tried the toll free number written in our contract and that ended the same way. We drove to two locations, no drop boxes at either and express written instructions posted to NOT leave the car unless the business was open. We tried the local number again and hit the prompt for roadside assistance and after escalation to Javel (sp) we were instructed to go to the airport. At the airport Brady checked us in smoothly. Had we been told initially that the only place to turn the car in was the airport, we would have gone straight there. But from 1:30-3:25 pm Sunday we used cellular data, the topped-off tank of fuel in the Passat and our F-250 diesel to try and conform to the instructions we were given. This resulted in frustration, lost time and in expense for the fuel in our personal vehicle. EAN Holdings LLC is the owner/operator of Enterprise. It seems reasonable that they'd want to accommodate us by some measure as a result of our inconvenience and expense. Update: Tuesday August 9 the branch manager for the Midtown Enterprise office phoned to thank us for our input on both the Enterprise Customer Satisfaction survey and here on Yelp. As a courtesy and companion to an apology he refunded what we'd been charged for the rental. He also explained an intention to address employee training and the incorrect information on the Enterprise network. The network that continued to suggest there were key drops in the downtown and midtown locations. He handled the call respectfully and diplomatically. Knowing that others will be spared the same runaround is good enough for a revision from two to three stars.

1 STAR -- A "CONFIRMED" RESERVATION THAT WASN'T, AND A PROMISED REIMBURSEMENT THAT NEVER CAME- left…read moreme and my family STRANDED and out THOUSANDS. I reserved a 12 passenger van with National approximately SIX MONTHS in advance for a large group. The reservation was confirmed, but when I arrived, no van was available-"van recall" they said, and National provided NO comparable replacement. The MANAGER sent me to another rental desk and after finding out it would be 4x the cost they would cover the difference in cost. I had to arrange alternative transportation and incurred $4,482.82 in documented additional expenses. I opened multiple customer service cases, but the branch manager repeatedly closed them without contacting me. I then escalated the matter to National's corporate team. The regional manager eventually contacted me, reviewed my documentation, and promised to send it to finance so a reimbursement check could be issued. More than a FOUR months later, there is still no check, no meaningful update, and no response to my calls or emails. National failed to provide the vehicle I reserved, left me to absorb thousands of dollars in additional costs, ignored repeated service cases, and failed to follow through on its promised reimbursement. I have documented everything and made multiple attempts to resolve this directly. Instead, I've been met with silence and am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate consumer complaint process. If you're traveling with a large group and need a specific vehicle, think twice before relying solely on a National reservation--and have a backup plan

DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT…read more I'll update this review first thing tomorrow morning. My wife and I came here to use a Uhaul to move her stuff from Kendall Yards to Eagle Ridge, and back to the store. That's a total of 17-18MILES (because math is easy and Google maps is free smh) and we were charged for DOUBLE. The gas was also NOT at what they told us when we used the truck. I returned it with more gas than originally was in the truck in the first place. Hear me out, normally I make sure I provide photo evidence but I've moved three times in the city (I'm active duty military) and had NO issues with Uhaul. But I was told the only way to dispute what happens was to have photos instead of owning up to someone's mistake in the establishment. Piss poor. Stay away from here.

The truck had 1/4 tank of gas when I started, so I had to fill up in Pullman. I put $216 of gas in the tank and then noticed a fuel leak. I was able to get a replacement truck in Moscow, but I had to fill up that truck too. I worked with UHaul to get reimbursed for the gas I couldn't use, sending receipts, pictures, and video, but the ultimate decision came down to the Spokane store manager, Ryan. He denied my claim because he didn't think I could have put that much gas in the truck. UHaul's site says the truck has a 60 gal tank. Gas was $4.50/gal. Do the math, Ryan. He was completely unhelpful. I had to file a claim with my credit card company instead. Good luck to any who have to deal with this moron.
