We've been using Ross Point Mini Storage since early 2017. We were moving tons of stuff and towing Trailers and RV's. I called all around Kootenai County for Comps on Storage and all fell within dollars of each other. BUT, what made the difference was the people. My wife and I drove in here to inquire about a storage building which they also sell. We noticed when we parked that they were closed for lunch for about another 10 minutes according to the sign. We decided to browse the sample buildings while we waited. It was a little hot so we got the dog out of the truck, on lead. While I was putting the dog lead on, a guy yells across the drive and asks what I need. Not if he can help me or any normal greeting of a customer, he was aggressive. I told him that we were interested in a building. He asked what I wanted to know. I said price and options etc. He again asked what I wanted and I said well, as a starting point, how much for that building right there? He said that he couldn't give me a price until he knew exactly what I wanted. I said I want that building right there exactly like that, and pointed at it. Around and around we went, going nowhere. I never heard a price or saw a brochure or had any explanation of a features or any normal step in a sales process. I asked if he was an employee or the owner. He asked what it mattered. I said well, if there's somebody else I can deal with, I'd rather do that. He refused to answer so I said I'd just take my business elsewhere. He proceeded to tell me that the problem was that I had a dog and "we don't like dogs around here." I told him that he could have simply asked me to keep the dog in the truck. He said that he believed that I'd have been more upset at that than I am now. Funny thing is: I never got upset. I was calm right through. Never raised my voice. I can take my business down the road and did. This guy was aggressive and aggravated from before we even spoke and only got more so as our conversation wore on. Avoid crazy people. read more

Tina is just wonderful!! I recently relocated to Post Falls from out of state and needed a storage unit to move my belongings into. I called Ross Point Mini Storage several weeks in advance and spoke with Tina who assured me that she would hold a unit for me. She kept her word and when my moving truck arrived today she not only got me a unit close to the entrance (as a convenience to my driver) but she also let me use an appliance dolly without charge to welcome me to the neighborhood.
