The check in process was easy and efficient, the process to get a car was well over an hour. This is completely unacceptable, the delays significantly impacted customers all of whom had other obligations. The company knows how many reservations they have, how many cars they need so making people wait for over an hour is just not right. The manager said they were short staffed which everyone understands work on solving that issue and do not make it your customer's problem there is nothing we can do to ensure you have adequate staff we just pay our bill or advise people in advance that there will be a delay. read more

I had a very negative experience here on July 27, 2026. There was a brunette and a blonde woman at the front desk who were very rude, unhelpful, and racist. First off, she ignored me when I first entered. When I walked up and greeted her she seemed bothered. Second, when I began showing the necessary documents I needed in order to rent a car she immediately told me I couldn't rent with what I had. I know I have the correct documents because this is not my first time renting. Third, after she dismissed me a white family happened to walk in and she got very cheery and began to assist them swiftly. I have never felt this much disrespect. We had a 1way rental from BOI to GEG. As one ways are significantly higher daily rates, we did a 1 day, 1 way & turned the car in at GEG, where we picked up a different car for our local stay. Dropping off the 1 way was a breeze & I had the emailed receipt before hitting the counter to pick up the other car. Picking up the other car wasn't as easy as it has been at other locations. The staff we worked with seemed annoyed that there were customers at all. There was some confusion over the online check-in, repetitive questions met with attitude on answering and a hard push for the insurance, implying I wasn't covered by both my regular insurance company and my credit card (I am... I have rental coverage & have never had to debate it in all my years of renting cars.) Once we had the car, we were happy with the rental &, again, return service was great. Absolutely terrible experience with the on site manager on Thursday, June 4th around 10:00 AM. To be clear, the front desk staff I dealt with were great. They were polite, helpful, and did their best. The issue was with the manager, who was rude, unprofessional, and quite frankly handled the situation like a coward. He never spoke to me directly and only communicated through his staff. I first walked in asking about a same day, one-way reservation from Spokane to Sandpoint. I was told I had to make the reservation online, so I did exactly that. About 20 minutes later, I came back in with a confirmed reservation. The employee helping me confirmed the reservation, confirmed they had the vehicle, and was great throughout the process. Then, after he went to ask the manager a question I had about a car seat, he came back and politely told me they would not be able to honor the reservation because it was not made four days in advance. That is absolute nonsense. Why allow the reservation to be made, confirm it, and then refuse to honor it once I'm standing there? Completely unacceptable. The manager at this location needs serious training in customer service, communication, and basic professionalism. read more

Use extreme caution and take multiple photos of pre-existing damage on their cars (and there is a lot since they run the fleet into the ground). The desk won't mark it and then they attempt to charge you for it. They are running a scam operation and should be removed from using the Enterprise brand. completely fraudulent. we rented two vehicles while out were in the shop. They did not have the truck they promised so we started in an SUV. later that day a truck became available and it was switched out. the obvious damage to the truck was reported to the center and they admitted they knew about the damage and that it was on the tablet the rep was using. we returned the vehicle after about a week without an issue. a few mo the later they filed a claim against our insurance company for damages that were already there. never called us about the damages. completely fraudulent! read more

There are plenty of other rental companies to choose from at this rental car center, I'd pick any of the others over this blanket company (Enterprise, Alamo, National) I'm not sure where the problem starts with these companies, but they either need more workers, more cars , or both. We waited for 20 minutes in line as there was one person working the counter for all 3 companies (with a free for all who went next in line) after waiting for a RESERVATION, we waited for another 35 minutes to actually get the car because they "weren't clean". We needed a rental car while ours was being fix and everything started off great. They came and got us at the repair shop and all was well no problem with the car. We drove it home parked it in the garage treated it just as we would our own car. When we returned the car the girl checked it in, she walked around the car twice, opened the drivers door and checked the gas gage and the car had more gas then when we got it, She said all was good no problems. She said it sure was clean. She gave us back our $50.00 deposit. They took us to pick up our car at the repair shop and again all is well no problem around 10:35 AM Then around 2:50 PM we get a call from Enterprise saying we cracked the window. I said you checked it in and said things were fine and we didn't see nor did we hear anything hit the widow. The damage wasn't there when we turned it in. They had the car for about four hours. If it was cracked someone surly would have seen before then. Like I told her she doesn't know what the kid did after he dropped us off at the repair shop. but there wasn't anything wrong with the window. I wouldn't recommend Enterprise if you want a rental car. BV read more

Got off our flight and over to the car rental area only to see that enterprise was the only counter with a huge line...bad sign. They only had 1 person working but 2 others behind the counter, which made our wait in line over 1 hour while we saw all the other counters speed people through. Not only that, when it's our turn they didn't even have the car ready for us that we reserved...nope, be prepared to wait. What was happening with the car while we waited in line over an hour? Our car rental process was the worst part of our whole trip and took longer than the 2nd flight we took to get there. It's 2pm on a Thursday. My reservation pick up time was 12:30 but due to a flight delay we did not arrive until 1:30. No big deal, right? At least we made it to our destination! Just have to grab a rental car real quick and we'll be on our way to start our vacation! WRONG. We've now been waiting for over 45 minutes along with around 100 other people. It seems like all of the rental car agencies are the same company? In bed together somehow? They're definitely failing collectively. Enterprise, Alamo, National... They're also saying that cars take much longer to clean now due to Covid. I'm calling BS... You're not wiping down anything you should've normally. Maybe consider hiring some more car cleaning people? And now it's been almost an hour. Definitely won't make this mistake again. A few more things: First, I've got platinum level status w/Enterprise and it only showed as "plus" on my paperwork. That's not a big deal and I didn't make a stink about it... But it gets even worse. We booked a full size car and eventually received a compact. After waiting for an hour, we just took it and left but under normal circumstances that wouldn't be acceptable considering the extra cost associated with the full size vs compact. And YES we were still charged for the full size. Also, the car we received was not in great shape (lots of dings/minor damage, and the brakes were extremely squeaky. Not to the point of being a safety issue, but definitely annoying and a little embarrassing. By now, we're in negative star territory, but a one star review is the lowest I can give. read more

If you prepay gas you are bound to give them at least 1.5 gallons and be all scared because the gas light is on, so instead I decided to return it full and I stopped and filled the car just off I-90 and they charged me over $8 to fill it. I decided to rent a car here from the Spokane airport after reading negative reviews of other companies in the area. I had a free upgrade to use and was given a minivan which was something fun and new to try. The customer service at check-in was amazing they were very helpful and I felt like I was getting a good deal for the service I was getting. Sydney the manager that helped me after returning my vehicle on my reservation went above and beyond customer service making sure that I was 100% satisfied with the service. Horrifically poor service and/or planning. The Enterprise and Alamo counters are SHARING one counter person at Spokane Airport. Currently TWENTY-NINE people in line waiting to get cars they reserved. Too hard to look at your reservation schedule and staff the counters? Plus it's taking an average of ten minutes per customer. Looking at a wait of HOURS. To rent a reserved car. Great 9-day Rental SITREP This review really encompasses both the Enterprise at SEA - Seattle Airport where the SUV was picked up - and the Enterprise at GEG - Spokane Airport where the SUV was dropped off. THE SETUP Something new we seven (7) travelers (5 adults & 2 kidlets) discovered was that Southwest no longer flies a leg from Seattle to Spokane. And when pricing flights on United or Alaska to make this hope, it would have cost us more than $1000 bucks for all of us. Add to that the fact that if we had flown into Spokane, we would have needed to get a van rental ANYWAYS for 6 days which already had us up at $700. So add in the 3 days we were spending in Seattle, the one-way drive across Washington State to the east end & Spokane, it really didn't cost us anymore than if we had just got a rental in Spokane - and a $1000 less anyways from no airfares. THE VAN With two full-on carseats in the 2nd row, Brad Sr. driving with me as shotgun, and then Uncle Gary, my cousin Rikka (Brad's wife and the two boys' mom), and cousin Dale, and we were amazingly comfortable and set for our roadtrip. I have to admit that we got spoiled with the rear-view camera that let us look at the LCD screen on the dashboard to see where we were backing the van up to. And that same LCD screen was AWESOME when playing SIRIUS radio - and it even had ALERTS if someone had preset the radio to announce if Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Dave Matthews (gag!), etc., and other artists were on other stations playing other than the one we were currently listening to. I can't tell you how many times I enjoyed switching the station to Depeche Mode and DJ Tiesto when they were on another station because of those dam awesome alerts. COMFORT Besides the seats, there was plenty of leg room, head room, a DVD screen starting at the 2nd row, and plenty of luggage in the compartment behind the last seat. BEGINNING HICCUP There was actually an ignition problem with the first van that we took out. About six (6) hours later, it became sketchy and unreliable and wouldn't always start. After the last start, Brad decided to just go back to Enterprise, show them the problem, and switch it out for another van, which is what happened with no problem. THE LOWDOWN A great rental agency that provided a super good deal on a van. read more

Ok..... where to start; I have personally never had a terrible experience with Enterprise, minus the fact they always up-sell you into something you didn't want but they are just doing their job. HOWEVER, I'm beyond upset with how they treated my parents on their recent trip to Spokane. My parents departed the plane and made their way to the Enterprise shuttle, once they arrived the, of course, were given a different car with "much better features." Now this is what happened: 1. Got to my house and the car was not cleaned, so my dad and I washed it. 2. Come to find out the hand device to lock/unlock the doors does not work. We called, they said you (my parents) can replace the battery. (I'm getting angry at this point) So I went to purchase a new battery, still did not work. 3. They refused to replace the car with a different one. 4. I drove with my parents to the west side where we find out the tabs are 3 months EXPIRED! 5. They are telling my parents to go and pick up the new tabs. Umm... I don't think so. So F*%& You Enterprise, I'm going Hertz! read more

Terrible experience. I would rate zero stars if I could. The "Enterprise Way" doesn't apply to everyone! I have rented from Enterprise many times over the years. In fact, I almost always choose Enterprise first when possible. I normally reserve from the Francis Enterprise location and that is usually fine with no issues. However, this time I need a truck and so I rented from the Airport location since it was the only one that had one available at the times I needed. I went to pick it up and was told they could not rent to me because I did not have return flight ticket (I am local) or a major credit card. I only have debit cards. I have never had issues using my debit card at the other location even with a deposit which is fine. Regardless, the clerk told me he would be fired if he rented to me. So no truck or any other rental. I cannot believe Enterprise would not have me in their database that shows me as a loyal customer for the past 10+ years with a stellar track record on my rental habits with them. I don't blame the clerk. He was fine and did what he had to do. The airport location policy stinks. I don't have a major credit card mainly because I don't want one. I got rid of my cards years ago and either pay debit or cash. After that experience, I decided to apply for a Capitol One credit card (I was immediately approved) so the next time I need to rent a vehicle I will have one ....HOWEVER, it will NOT be with ENTERPRISE Ever AGAIN! I am finished with this company who doesn't value loyal and long time customers. This is why RelayRides and Getaround are the next big things in car renting. You know what they say when we "assume"?!? Well, someone assumed the person picking up the rental car knew where the Enterprise lot was. You tell me Lot E and I headed off to the lot across the way, clearly marked with BIG lettered signs. The entire way through the open lot, and covered parking, I'm pushing the lock button like an idiot, expecting to hear the honk. No honk. Thirty minutes later and I'm asking where this mysterious car is parked. "Oh, it's right here to your right." Wait. What?!? I just dragged luggage, a carry on, and my work bag around an open lot and parking garage to find a car... and it's right here?!? Yeah, I'm gonna need ya to pull that around. Maybe next time someone picks up their car, you can stop flirting with the cute little car rental gal, to assist the person who is paying for, and expecting some service from you and the company you work for.
