They hike up prices unexpectedly (5 months in $213 to $223 plus tax and service fee), back out of commitments, and twist your words. Initially, they may seem friendly, but don't be fooled they're not helpful at all. Their strategy is to lure you in with 'low rates' and then significantly increase them. Also I recently lost my job so going through a bit of a financial struggle, I have accumulated some late fees, which they are fast to apply but when it comes to a credit I am owed I have been on them since May 28th to have it applied on my account and I am yet to see it. Lastly the elevators often don't work you would think with price increase the storage would be maintained but not the case. Do better PRIME Storage! Their sales associate Jose is condescending, rude and flat out the worst customer service representative I have encountered recently!!!

I moved out just a few days later, on June 17th, and requested a partial refund since the unit would be completely vacated for the remainder of the billing period. The response? Zero consideration. No flexibility, no gesture of goodwill, nothing. Luis, the on-site staff member, was consistently kind and helpful--this is no reflection on him (hence why I didn't give this one star) The problem lies with management, who clearly have no regard for customer loyalty or fair treatment. To make matters worse, CubeSmart regularly raises their monthly rates without meaningful justification. Their website claims they "take initiative to improve and enhance the customer's experience." That could not be further from the truth. Disappointed is an understatement. I would not recommend CubeSmart to anyone looking for a storage solution that values its customers.

But when I went to the storage unit and I attempted to open it, it didn't open it was locked. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected poorly on leadership. A strong team deserves to be treated with the same level of professionalism and respect that they give to customers every day.
