I'm not going to even give them a star I had the worst experience with these guys today never in my life have I ever had such horrible movers. In the living room there was literally two sofas a small coffee table a small desk and a chair I stepped out did some things came back I noticed that the hardwood floors that were just refinished were scratched and everything unraveled from there they denied and denied .. I didn't realize till later that the scratches were not made by this sofa being moved across the floor but by the guys dolly yes it was probably accidental but they fight with me and then tried to tell me I did it..!! I was crazed screaming at the top of my lungs they denied it the owner was rude to me no one asked what can I do to make this right..it was horrible the worst horrible experience ever..my husband and a friend had to leave work to come and deal with these guys at the storage facility it got to a stand off of me paying them and them giving me two items left on the truck I would never use them ever again... read more

I worked with Alex and jay during a hectic last minute move of mine and they're company did a fantastic job! Everything was done of with caution and care. Appreciate you guys! Thank you read more

Paul was so patient and helpful in guiding me through what help we would realistically need in our move. He took time to check back in with me after our quote as well. The prices he quoted are fair. I highly recommend Movers of Long Beach! read more

If and when I move again I will definitely schedule with them again. Great deal and they arrived on time and they worked very hard to meet my deadline. Tony and Dimash were very courteous and professional (they deserve a raise) they eased all my concerns and checked in with me throughout the move. Communication was great. I did call to confirm the number of wardrobe boxes and I was told they would send 6, they arrived with 4 and one was broken. So I suggest the company invest in new boxes. Luckily I had extra regular boxes that I and purchased so I was able to use those. read more

It is my pleasure to recommend Long Beach Movers, I used their services last summer and they were very professional, kind, and responsible. Reasonable pricing and flexible with times. read more

We hired 3 workers to move our 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment one block to a new place literally across the street. Although they arrived on time at 10am, they were not prepared with moving equipment (other than a dolly), water or proper attire. Right away my husband went out and got them cold water bottles to make sure they were hydrated. Initially it appeared they were moving efficiently as we had all items boxed up and some items already shrink wrapped - all they had to do was load it into the truck. They did wrap a couple more items for us even though it wasn't entirely necessary (like couch pillows?) and wasted some time there. One worker broke the bottom of one of my dressers and claimed it was damaged before he moved it. Which, is not correct because we had moved it out of the closet and into the living space ourselves before they arrived. Also, two of them needed to take smoke breaks and one worker needed to take a "prayer" break which we were not informed of ahead of time. Said mover needed a clear space and had to set the area up with a mat, religious icons and then begun to pray for 15-20 minutes. In total, it took about 30 minutes from start up, prayer, and take down. He did this 3 different times during the move that I noted. We were respectful of his devout religious beliefs and tried to work around him - however it became increasingly more difficult because we could not do anything in the area around him. Right around lunchtime they started slowing down. We thought they needed food so my husband picked up 3 pizzas and they took a 30 minute lunch break. Afterwards, they moved much more slowly and proceeded to take more prayer and smoke breaks equating to a several hours lost in time. My husband jumped in the last 1.5 hours to help get it done since the pace was just ridiculously slow. Again, we have a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment that we were moving across the street - literally just one single block. It took them 10 HOURS to finish the move!!! The main guy refused to deduct time for the multiple prayer/smoke breaks because as he said "that the other 2 guys were still working" while he was praying. We paid for 3 guys to move one block but ended up with less than 2 due to all the breaks in time. We have moved ourselves previously and it had never taken more than 5-6 hours and that was with a further move distance involved. Upon talking to the management, they initially seemed concerned and were surprised by the prayer sessions (we couldn't have been the first to note this?) and said they would look into it. They made it sound like they would adjust the pricing and give us a partial refund/credit but upon follow-up 2.5 weeks later nothing has happened. Finally, after three weeks, Malcolm from Customer Service called us to apologize for the delay. Unfortunately, he had a family emergency and our claim feel through the cracks. Malcolm explained to us that the company completely understood our circumstances and was going to issue us a refund for 2 hours. What seemed like a company that did not care about it's customer service ended up actually making things right. I would recommend them however, with the caveat that if you are paying for 3 guys, you actually get 3 guys. Our experience was probably not the norm but the company ultimately did make it right. read more

These guys were great! Punctual, friendly, and very careful moving all of our stuff. They scaled flights of stairs with ease and came ready with covers for our furniture and clothing. We had a one bedroom with a good amount of stuff and traveled about 15 miles. Then entire ordeal took just over 4 hours and they worked the entire time. Would recommend to anyone moving in the Long Beach area. read more

These guys did a fantastic job. We booked the day before, procrastination on our part, and they were able to still help us move. Everything was done in a few hours and everything was in great shape when they dropped it off at our new place. Cost 300 bucks, which I think is pretty reasonable considering they did all the work, wrapped all our furniture so it wouldn't get dirty and asked us where we wanted everything. Definitely recommend this place. Great all around. read more

They were great curtious and super fast but handled our stuff with care very good

Bob and alex, they are very helpful..and work professionally.very highly recommended..

I'm so very glad I called Movers Long Beach... two thumbs up up up! I called and made my reservations with Mark who was very nice ,professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I was recently told I had to move because of owner selling his condo in which I lived in for 9 years. Ugh! Mind you my condo was about 756sq feet and I was now downsizing to 656sq into one of the many LBC Modern up scale apt (super nice) but very small. I was stressing about all the stuff the movers would have to move, my mirror dresser and night stands and my wardrobe tons of cloths shoes it was just a freaking nightmare. But the best advice I can give anyone please don't solely relay on the movers I also had loaded my car up with box as well stuff that was Fragile I carried in. Also I arranged my pack boxes in a way that made it so easy for the movers to just grab and go I put all my packed boxes in the living room and I rolled up 2 of my Huge area rugs for them. The mover who help me where MIKE and JP!!!! they rock ! They were done in less than 4 hours 3. 5 hours. even when I had a concern look on my face and literally there seemed to be a ton of stuff remaining in the truck and the clock was tic tic ticking away, MIKE would wink his eye and smile at me and say don't worry we will finish in plenty of time. Both of my movers were truly amazing! I will use Movers Long Beach and ask for MIKE and JP(Jéan Pierre) again! And also recommend to family and friends. Again let me add this they were moving super fast and knew what to grab and how to pack my items where there was NO DAMAGE to any of my precious beautiful belongings. They took one break after my pick up (old address) was loaded on the truck to drink water. They were super cool and nice I can't stop thinking about how they went far and beyond to make sure all my items were in my new place.... and trust me there was some major obstacles. MIKE, JP if your reading this ... wink wink lol! And thank you very much! ((((((THAT MOFO COUCH)))) read more

Good guys, good service, good price. I'd recommend the service, and its a lower rate than any of the other ones I saw.

We had a great move with Dimitri, Constantine, and Andy. Those guys worked unbelievably hard. Nothing got damaged, and we were done with the move in one day. read more

Found this company through YELP. Based upon reviews, I decided to give them a try. They are the BEST. Moved on Veterans Day. Very professional from start to finish. Customer service took my info, informed me of specials, and emailed my confirmation along with valuable information about the moving process and legal liabilities. Second, they requested photos of heavy furniture days prior to the move. Third, the movers arrived on time. I went with 3 movers. I don't know their names, but they were the best, 3 Mongolian guys. I moved from a 2nd floor apt to a 2nd floor duplex. They were very friendly, polite, and accommodating. I was hosting a yard sale, so some of the bulkier furniture/appliances only had to be moved downstairs. People were in and out of the apt and it didn't bother them. They wrapped everything carefully. Nothing was damaged in the move. Broke my beds down and reassembled. Previous reviews complained of breaks. They asked me if they could take one and I said sure. It wasn't more than 10 minutes and they were back to work. This is back breaking work, so I'm not going to complain about a short break. Even workers who sit all day are entitled to a break. They were well worth the money. Finally, I received 2 follow up calls about my service. The whole process was easy. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, It's LB Movers for me. read more

These guys are the best moving company I've ever dealt with. No damage to any furniture or moving spaces. Very professional, friendly, and hard working, protectively wrapped our furniture. I'll definitely use them again in the future. The Best!! read more

Wonderful guys! Picked up our apartment stuff from the second floor and the garage and delivered it on our new one way street, which is really hard to get to! They brought all our stuff upstairs and garage stuff back into the garage. We can't thank them enough. Great guys. read more

Called on Friday and was moved same day. Bam!

We have used Movers Long Beach two years in a row to move our young adult to different housing while going to college. Their prices are very reasonable and they do an excellent job packing and moving everything very carefully. Both times we have had zero damage on anything they moved for us. They are very hard workers and they want to do an excellent job to make sure you are a satisfied customer. If in the Long Beach area this is definitely the company to use! I cannot recommend them highly enough!! If we move any more in the future, I will continue to use this excellent company. read more

This is one awesome company they moved everything in a timely fashion and they were really careful in everything they did I would use them again most definitely if I could give six stars I would thank you so much. read more

OMG, DON'T, DON'T DON'T. I only decided to use them because of the awesome reviews I read (mostly regarding Dimitry and Constantine, which were not my movers, unfortunately). They started out on a bad note for me: As soon as they walked in, one dude asked to used my bathroom and STUNK it up! Seriously?? How about you stop by Starbucks to handle your serious restroom needs beforehand? It went downhill from there. They took NINE hours to NOT EVEN complete my move of an 800 sf, 1-BR apt. I had to hire another company for the second day, thanks to a referral from my storage facility. And they tossed the stuff in my storage unit so horribly that I'll have to hire more guys to reorganize it. SO DISAPPOINTED!! Nice guys, but too young, too slow and too inexperienced (and BTW, the couch that they couldn't handle "it's too big - we're putting it back") was actually moved by the second group of movers (grrrr). Never again. read more

Rayan and William were extremely professional. They came on time and where very gracious and happy to move extremely large items with no complaints and extreme care. They never made a scratch on a single item and move them exactly where I wanted it. Please make sure to get Rayan and William, they are the best movers I have ever experienced. Professional, courteous and willing to go above and beyond. I would highly recommend then for any type of moves. read more

Beka q Sergey and his crew were awesome, they were so efficient. Excellent movers and pack the truck up so good that we were surprised how much they got in. Hard working and very polite and pleasant to have around. Highly recommend them! Thank you guys very much! read more

These guys are no joke. We had another mover assist us in moving to a storage facility. They were a really cheap price and had good reviews from another site. But we ended up paying a ton because they could not efficiently deal with the move. When we moved from the storage facility we hired Movers Long Beach. The hourly rate was a little pricier, BUT they were able to get the job quickly and efficiently. Thus, in the end we spent less and they did a great job moving our belongings without damaging them. I hope we don't move in the near future, but if we do, I will definitely be calling Movers Long Beach. read more

Rauan,William,Brian provided very good service. done on time and everything was explained and worked out prior to starting. they listened to specified instructions and were clearly experience. only minor issue is be clear when calling first, the one that answers the phone doesn't do the labor, be specific about your situation and make sure you don't have questions before they book it. overall great experience. read more
