Even before the day of moving I knew everything would go smoothly by how responsive Dave was through email. Every email I sent got a response within the day. I also appreciated his pricing. There were no hidden fees and the cost he said was the cost at the end of the day, no matter how many stairs or distance from the curb. Day of, everyone showed up on time and started hustling immediately. I pointed out everything that needed to go and that was it. I also used Dave and his team to haul junk and that was also very smooth. I pointed out the junk and it was taken away. I even added some items and it was no problem. Dave didn't care. Amazing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who was looking to move. Professional, helpful, and quick!

Dave and his crew took the time to carefully wrap all of our furniture as if it were their own, and his attention to detail was truly impressive. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and his service. We were so impressed that we even recommended Dave to our daughter for her local move, and she had the same positive experience. Even when one of his movers had a family emergency, Dave didn't miss a beat, he had another mover lined up right away so everything stayed on schedule. That kind of professionalism and commitment really stands out. If you're looking for a mover who goes above and beyond, Dave is the one to call!

Moving is a stressful time already, and dealing with moving companies should not contribute to the stress. Case in point: Every other moving company I called required a byzantine procedure of an "estimate appointment" to even come over, look through our stuff, and estimate how much the move would cost. OMG, that's before even booking the move! Jacob answered the phone on a Sunday, asked me how many bedrooms, if I had heavy items (pool table/piano/etc.), and provided a quick estimate on the spot plus slotted me into the moving date I wanted right then and there. OMG, that was EVERYTHING! Thank you, Jacob. Now, onto the movers. They were quick, efficient, hard working, courteous, and DID NOT DAMAGE A THING. Not. A. Thing. They brought enough people to handle the job quickly and seamlessly, and they worked together as an A+ Team. It was a joy to watch them work; you could tell they really enjoyed each other's company. Again, that was EVERYTHING. Thank you, Moving Team. In short, this is an A+ company with an A+ Head that made a stressful time very seamless for us and did so with smiles on their faces. Everything was moved without any breaks and done in a pretty quick timeframe. The cost is probably also one of the most reasonable that I have found in this area. They got everything moved without a scratch on anything, and honestly, they're the fastest movers I've ever seen. James said he treats moving like Tetris, and he and Jesse did an excellent job getting lots of boxes and furniture safely onto dollies. I also appreciated how they triaged the types of furniture and loaded so many things onto multiple dollies in order to take it all down the elevator in as few trips as possible. From a pandemic perspective, they wore masks during the move, and I didn't feel any concerns. When I had to sign final paperwork at my old place, they headed to the new place and informed the concierge of our arrival to get the loading dock ready--now that's service! They just left about an hour ago, and I've already recommended Capitol Hill Haulers to a friend who is also moving soon. Big ups to CHH and to James & Jesse!
