This was the absolute best thing I could have done for myself if you live in Az go see Dante Alexander at "Movement Stretch Studio" at 3624 E Bell Road, Phx Az. I walked in doubled over in excruciating pain and I walked out of there feeling amazing! No pain‼ It was unbelievable! I hurried up out of there and was able to get everything I wasn't able to do due to the pain and I got it all done ‼ my next appointment is next Wednesday ‼ if you're in pain I have sciatic nerve pain (crippling) and I could not believe that after 1 visit I could walk and No pain ‼ I take very serious pain killers and the fact that I had no pain was an absolute miracle ‼ I would rather go there than get my nails done or all the things I invest in myself, just do it! Movement Stretch Studio (Dante Alexander Jordan) responded to me in the evening on Monday. He insisted on getting my credit card in order to confirm the appointment. I asked them to wait a week before charging my credit card. When a confirmation email arrived, I saw that Dante's name did not mattch what he told me his name was. He lied to me. Immediately, I wrote to the owner, Seth Thurston, and asked that he cancel my appointment and not charge my credit card. Five (5) days have passed and Movement Stretch Studio has not responded to me. How good can a business possibly be when they lie to you, then do not respond to an email or two. I do not recommend this business. read more

I love this place, I used a Groupon for a couple of forty minute sessions with Adam and also tried the infrared sauna. The sessions were very helpful as have helped reduce my leg muscle tightness in various areas. After the second visit I used the infrared sauna which reduced soreness. I handled about 25 minutes in the sauna before having to get out. I didn't sign up for their membership ship or added sessions after the Groupon due to price. Way too expensive. One forty minute session a week was recommended which would be over $250 monthly. Or for buying 40 minute blocks it was $90. Or $79/month recurring charge. So that's about $100/hour at the recurring rate. I'll probably go back to massage therapy at that price. read more

This is just what I was looking for! My low back and forearms are extremely tight. I went in to check the place out and they were generous and gave me a complimentary treatment. It was relaxing, it felt more like a massage, but when I woke up the next day I had more range of motion. I was sore but in a good way. You should try them out. read more

The stretching was good but it was very impersonal.. as I arrived the two girls at the desk were immersed in conversation with another customer snd never acknowledged I had even come in the door. No hi, welcome, be with you shortly... nothing. During my session the two girls continued with talking with each other, laughing and seemed mechanical. Tables are about 3 feet apart, no dividers so not relaxing at all. Providers were not focused on their client.. then they want you to sign up... if it were a little more private and personal it would be worthwhile. They need to tone it down a few notches. I had been looking for something like this, and didn't think it existed. I saw their ad on groupon and decided to check them out. I will absolutely be going back. It was a great experience, and I did feel a lot better after my appointment. I have been going to chiropractors for years for different pain management. I plan on switching from using a chiropractor to a stretchologist. The stretching was like a massage, but at a much better price. It seems like something you could do on your own, but as a former gymnast I can tell you I have never stretched like that before. I highly recommend. read more

I loved my experience - Seth really knows what he's doing. I got such a comprehensive, relaxing stretch. You can tell he's been doing this for a while. He checked in routinely to see how the pressure was, coached me on my breathing, etc. I topped it off with the infrared sauna, which was a first for me - I was a little apprehensive at first, but it felt great. I'd like to break this review into two parts...the good and the not so good. First, the good...the staff working there providing the stretch therapy were phenomenal. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I also like how the owner, Seth, reached out to me the following day, asking how I was. That was a nice touch. Not so good...Even though Seth reached out, he apparently didn't read the notes on me because instead of knowing that I already had my first session, he was texting to ask me if I'd like to schedule my 1st appt. So I applaud his intentions, but clearly he didn't know, as the owner, where I was in the process of my treatment. This made it feel like a fake auto text message. Second, and final issue was, and maybe this is a Groupon issue rather than a Movement Studio issue, but upon arrival to my first treatment, it was never explained to me what a session entailed. It was only after my final session where I learned that one session counted as 20 minutes and not 40. So instead of thinking Id get 4 treatments, I only received 2 because I was unaware of the time limits. This turned out to be a very expensive mistake. As a side note: I reached out to the owner Seth via text on the 21st of Sept. (almost one week ago since the writing of this review)advising him of my concerns. I didn't expect anything free but I thought at the very least, he'd thank me for voicing my concerns so that these types of issues wouldn't occur to the next costumer. Love this place! Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can see that they are passionate and love what they do here! I drive 30 min to get there and it's well worth the drive! As someone with an active, healthy lifestyle. Stretching is something I know I should be doing regularly, however, I just don't get to it. I've been working with Seth for over a month to work on some mobility issues particularly in my left shoulder and have seen a drastic improvement in shoulder as well as the rest of my body.
