Not sure what's going on here. Been a member for many years and it's been a pleasure. But I recently started hearing stories from other members who said that they would show up for appointments they booked online only to find that the door was locked. Well it happened to me this past Saturday. The place was closed for my booked appointment and no one answered the phone or returned the message I left. Today I stopped by hoping to talk to someone but again no one was there even though the online booking service was still available and accepting reservations. Strange. read more

Sweaty sweaty!!!! My boyfriend & I had an interesting time here at Pure Sweat Spa. The infrared blanket wraps get REALLY HOT, up to 158 degrees. Bryan & his wife Claudia were very knowledgeable on the technique of sweat therapy and were great at hosting us. I would definitely recommend this if you want to drop some water weight before an upcoming event or vacation. They offer alkaline water and ice cold face towels infused with essential oils once things start heating up. The funny thing is, it was 110 degrees outside after we left, and it felt cool to us when we walked out. That goes to show how sweaty we were!! We had a great time overall! read more

Was an ok experience. Would not return. Was expecting a better experience based on the reviews and website. Did not get a tour or thorough overview, actually didn't feel very welcome. Bought 3 sessions on Groupon to try it and I'm glad I did. Not only did I sweat profusely, I felt great after each session. Brian & his beautiful wife take excellent care of you during your session. They bring you water and cold towels scented with essential oils. You also get to watch Netflix to make the time go by faster, catch up on shows and it's a nice distraction. I heard about Pure Sweat Spa through a friend while I was visiting Arizona. I showed up at the newly opened spa and was greeted by the owner Bryan and his friendly staff. They made me feel extremely welcomed, gave me a good tour of the spa, shared with me the spa's concept and what I will be expecting from the treatment. I can tell a lot of attention to details is put into the guest waiting area, the front desk, the treatment rooms and down to the bath/shower rooms. They truly want to give the customers the best experience. I chose the infrared blanket treatment. I was provided clean sweatshirt and sweat pants to wear during the treatment. Every treatment area is separated by drawing curtains so there is privacy and yet I can also draw the curtains to talk to my friend when needed. This can be great for an individual treatment and also as a group activity with friends. Since I will be sweating a lot during the treatment, inside of the treatment blanket is hygienically covered with a disposable layer to contain my sweat. I was provided with entertainment like Netflix, HBO movies, etc to keep me occupied for 55 mins. Every 15-20 mins the spa assistant will check in to see how I feel and if I need more ice water or cold towels. I'm also given a buzzer that I can let them know if I need assistance any given time. The attentiveness of the staff is impeccable. The treatment experience is very similar to sitting in an infrared sauna. But this time I able to lay down comfortably, watch movies and not be focusing on how much I'm sweating. And the time go by much faster. Towards the last 10 minutes I got super warm and was watching the clock to see how much longer before it ends. I'm challenged myself to stick out to the end and I did. At the end of the treatment I took a shower at the spa. Shower rooms are equipped with everything one needs to wash up after a long sweating session. I have chronic lower back pain and sciatica, after the treatment I felt really good. My pain is gone for a few days. So I think they treatment really helped with the pain relief. I also read that the treatment is great way for the body to detox and weight loss. Would be great if I can get a few more sessions in. I had such a tremendously good experience that I wished they open up a spa like this closer to me. Definitely go back when I'm visiting. read more

I recently moved from California, where I was a member of Perspire Sauna for 8 years! Sweating has been a game changer for me with my health and wellness. Its therapeutic, and it also helps my mental health stay right where i like it, nice and positive! When I came to Arizona I was so thrilled to have found Pure Sweat. The owners are outstanding, and they have a lovely set up at their spa. I went to a couple of other spas around who had an infrared sauna, but they wouldn't turn them on in time and quite honestly there is no point in me sitting there if its not up to 130+. Pure Sweat offers amazing packages, fresh water in glass bottles, lavender cold towels and so much more. To make this even more official of how much they rock, I drive 25 miles 2x a weekend to get there, and Ill soon be going after work. This will be the best thing you can do for yourself! read more
