But when I came to the one in Upland, my experience completely changed. The owners are very welcoming and kind. They're always helpful and respond quickly to questions. You can reach them through social media or by phone, which makes communication really easy whenever I need help. The store inside the gym is a bit pricey, but since it's in the gym I didn't expect it to be super cost-effective. Even though it's pricier than my last gym, I'm okay with just skipping the HOTWORX merch. The gym itself is very clean. The bathroom is wonderful and very female-friendly, they have anti-odor products and emergency items for us ladies, which is greatly appreciated! The decor around the gym is super cute and makes you feel welcomed throughout the space. The equipment is always up to par, and everything feels well maintained. I honestly have no real complaints about this location. The owners here are doing a great job making gym-goers feel welcomed and supported 24/7. It's true that people are more respectful at this gym because when I walked in everything was clean and everyone was wiping things down and re-racking their weights. It makes for such a better lifting experience when everyone respects the equipment and facility. You sign up on an app and you beep in via a bluetooth system which was convenient for my early morning lift. I even got to meet the owner Ian, and he was cool and helped me get a day pass fast which was great! I intend to come back here! 10/10.
