A light fixture was left wrapped in a thick quilted blanket and taped which was good, they failed to unwrap it and put it back together. They assumed they completed the job and left the premises. It was a very hot day and they were anxious to leave. This I understand. I thought nothing of a light structure being left unwrapped. When I unwrapped it today, the light shade and structure were turned upside down did not fit correctly as before. There was a phone call the day after the move to review if everything went well. I had not registered that the lamp was still unwrapped, but today, I quickly learned it was not the same. I had to rate the review from 5 to 4 stars. read more

$1,500 IN DAMAGES TO MY ITEMS AND RECEIVED A CLAIMS CHECK FOR $350. HOW DOES THAT RECOVER MY COST TO DAMAGES THEY DID? AVOID THIS COMPANY. Read on for more detail. This company is awful! They provided moving service for me for my move from one house to the next house that was a 10 min drive away. For starters, the truck they sent was to small, even after doing a video walk through if my house. We had to go back for a second trip. They also damaged over $1,000 in my items (see pictures). When I filed my claim they Didn't even offer an email letting me know they received my claim and that it was in process. After a month I reached out and had to resend my claim. A couple of weeks later, when I received my "settlement" for the claim. BE WARNER YOU OWN A $500 DEDUCTIBLE. This is taken from your total they owe you. So, you hire MoveGreen, pay them a crap tone of money to move your stuff only to have your items damaged by their workers to then have to "pay" MoveGreen a deductible from the total cost they owe me for the damage they caused to my items. Not to mention, the amount they provided back, doesn't cover the cost to fix/ replace my items. For example, the dresser they damaged is $600 and can only be replaced not repaired. MoveGreen sent me $200 for repairs this item. Where did they pull that info from? Mid air? See picture of Claim. They were courteous, efficient, and took care with our belongings and both homes and finished earlier than they estimated. Needed to move inventory from storage to wharehouse. Team showed up on time and was able to move 3 storage units full of inventory 20 minutes away in 4 hrs. They even kept track of the order of shelves we had and placed them in the wharehouse in a very neat manner. As a bonus, they even lifted boxes on top of the shelves to optimize the space. I got a quote very quickly from my saleswoman/project manager Kim. They used Apple Facetime to see what I wanted moved and provided an estimate down to the number of pieces and estimated weight. Because of a very heavy, bulky piece I needed moved, they had to consult some expertise, which took a few extra hours. I changed the scheduled date once with no problems, received regular follow-ups including a reminder and arrival window of 8-9 am. They were here at 0758. Mr. Varella and his assistant Abraham were very thorough in their packaging, protection and loading of our things into a PODS, especially the ones I asked for extra care. At my request, they stayed an extra hour. They did additional loading of things I hadn't initially asked for, but when I saw how well they were doing I asked for more. Varella said he handles stuff like he would have his own handled. While they are not cheap, they are fully licensed, insured and trained, so that's worth it. read more

Moving day: we all dread it. My moving crew Lead JOSE & Trainee Isaiah showed up a few minutes before 8am (I was told between 8-9). Those of us who need to stay on a tight schedule can appreciate how much that meant to me to respect my precious time. They greeted me with calm smiles and introduced themselves, and guided the entire process from start to finish. When I needed help with a box put together for last minute packing, or putting on tape, Jose seemed to appear magically the moment when I needed him to take over my task. I even tried to lift a few boxes to help, but Jose instead said "let me get that." I appreciated how Jose was training Isaiah. I am a teacher, Jose was gentle to guide his trainee, yet quick to not waste MY time, in guiding him what to do next. There was MINIMAL TALKING which I always look for, to save time. It was obvious that Jose knew what goes first in the truck, what goes last, he knew how to protect all of my belongings (especially the fragile items), and that his experience shined through. I often heard "what else can we help you with", and "we are here for you so please let us know what else we can do to help you." Jose went above and beyond and when we arrived to my new place, he even helped me turn on and operate my new refrigerator, figured out my new screen and sliding door in new place, and offered me more time if I needed it. They didn't take a lunch break or stop AT ALL in between and I moved more than 90 miles away from Ventura. Jose said he'd rather have his crew finish my job first, and then afterwards they'll take a break. I appreciated that very much!
